RIBBON WINDING MECHANISM AND TAPE PRINTING APPARATUS
There is provided a ribbon winding mechanism including: a winding rotor; a first winding gear that is provided to be coaxial to the winding rotor and rotates the winding rotor; a second winding gear that is provided to be coaxial to the winding rotor and rotates the winding rotor via the first winding gear; a first torque limiter that limits torque, which is transmitted from the first winding gear to the winding rotor, to first torque; a second torque limiter that limits torque, which is transmitted from the second winding gear to the first winding gear, to second torque lower than the first torque; and a torque clutch that inputs power from a feed motor to the first winding gear when the first cartridge is mounted and inputs the power from the feed motor to the second winding gear when the second cartridge is mounted.
DUAL RATE TORSIONAL STIFFNESS DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY
A drive shaft assembly includes a first shaft member, a second shaft member, and a ball member. The first shaft member has a base that radially extends from a first shaft that extends along a first axis, and a finger that extends from the base and defines a first ball track. The second shaft member has a second shaft extending along a second axis defining a second ball track. The ball member is received within the first ball track and the second ball track.
HANDHELD POWER TOOL
A handheld power tool includes a torque coupling adjustable by the operator, as well as a gear unit for transmitting a torque generated by a drive motor to a drive shaft. The gear unit is advantageously a planetary gear unit; the torque coupling being constructed in such a manner, that in response to slippage of the torque coupling, a coupling component follows a displacement path. The handheld power tool further includes a control unit and a sensor, the sensor monitoring the coupling component for a displacement and transmitting corresponding sensor signals to the control unit. The control unit is configured to control, in particular, switch off, the drive motor as a function of the sensor signals received. It is further provided that the control unit subject the received sensor signals to a plausibility check, in order to determine if actual slippage of the torque coupling is occurring.
Vehicle extended stop arm
An apparatus (100), including: a framework (104) configured to be secured to a vehicle; an arm base (106) configured to pivot relative to the framework between a retracted position and an extended position; an arm (110) removably secured to and extending from the arm base; and a shock absorber (142) configured to absorb shock and to prevent relative movement between the arm base and the arm.
RELEASABLE ROLLER CLUTCH AND ADJUSTABLE HINGE ASSEMBLY USING THE SAME
According to one aspect, a releasable roller clutch includes a shaft and a clutch housing positioned around the shaft. The shaft and clutch housing together defining a space there between with rollers positioned in said space. The rollers permit rotation of the shaft relative to the clutch housing when in an unlocked position in which the rollers are not wedged and prevent rotation of the shaft relative to the clutch housing when in a locked position in which the rollers are wedged. A cage extends into the space defined between the shaft and clutch housing. The cage is moveable relative to the clutch housing between an unlocking position and a locking position. The cage has a contact edge positionable to prevent the rollers from moving from the unlocked position to the locked position when the cage is in an unlocking position. The releasable roller clutch permits rotation of the shaft relative to the clutch housing in both directions when the cage is in the unlocking position.
TORQUE-SENSITIVE LOCKING AND RELEASE MECHANISM FOR A BISTABLE PITCH PROPELLER
A bistable pitch propeller includes a ball, a spring, and a clutch module where the clutch module has a range of rotational movement between a locked end position and a released end position. The clutch module includes a detent, where the ball sits inside and outside of the detent when the clutch module is in the locked end position and released end position, respectively. In response to an input torque and a spring force from the spring, the clutch module rotates toward the released end position and the locked end position, respectively. The bistable pitch propeller also includes an aircraft blade where the aircraft blade is at the first pitch angle and the second pitch angle when the clutch module is in the locked end position and the released end position, respectively.
Uncoupling pulley with offset clutch
Uncoupling pulley having a longitudinal axis, and including a wheel rim having a first zone, to receive a belt connecting the wheel rim to a first power transmission element, and second zone situated in the axial extension along the direction defined by the longitudinal axis of the pulley, of the first zone; a hub to be secured to a second power transmission element; one of the power transmission elements being driving, and the other being driven; a ring mounted below the second zone of the wheel rim and around the hub, so the ring can rotate, around the longitudinal axis, relative to the wheel rim and/or the hub; an elastically deformable element mounted between the hub and the ring; and a unidirectional clutch having an end fastened to the ring and the remaining part of which is mounted below the second zone of the wheel rim and above the ring.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OPENING A SPA HARD COVER
A cover lift system for a spa includes a lifter handle having an upper arm and a lower arm telescopically connected to the upper arm, the upper arm being configured for operative connection to a cover of a spa, and the lower arm being configured for pivotal connection to a base of the spa, and an adjuster mechanism associated with the lifter handle for selectively adjusting a length of the lifter handle to allow for use of the lifter handle with spas of varying sizes.
LOW SPEED SPOOL GENERATOR TRANSMISSION
A low speed spool multispeed transmission includes an input shaft configured to connect to a low pressure spool gearbox, a gear system connected to the input shaft and configured to convert an input speed of the input shaft to an output speed within a predetermined speed range, wherein the gear system includes a plurality of gear states to change the ratio between the input speed and the output speed, and an output shaft connected to the gear system to be rotated by the gear system at the output speed, the output shaft configured to connect to a generator. The input shaft and the output shaft can be coaxial.
RING ASSEMBLY FOR ELEVATOR GOVERNOR, GOVERNOR AND ELEVATOR SYSTEM
The present invention provides a core ring assembly for an elevator governor, a governor and an elevator system, wherein the core ring assembly comprises: a first portion and a second portion of a core ring which are axially arranged, the first portion and the second portion of the core ring having contact surfaces therebetween; and a pressure generation mechanism for generating a pressure between the first portion and the second portion of the core ring, wherein the first portion of the core ring rotates by receiving an actuation torque from an over-speed actuating mechanism, and the second portion of the core ring rotates with the first portion of the core ring by virtue of friction of the contact surfaces and enables a safety activating module. The core ring assembly provided by the embodiment of the present invention has a peak torque limiting function and a compact structure.
