Steering device anti-rotation assembly
A steering column assembly includes a steering shaft operatively coupled to a steering device, the steering shaft and the steering device having corresponding rotation with each other. Also included is an anti-rotation assembly selectively engaged with a surface of the steering shaft to maintain the steering shaft and the steering device in a stationary condition when the steering shaft is rotationally decoupled from road wheels operatively coupled to the steering shaft.
Driving apparatus
A driving apparatus 100 includes a motor 20 that generates drive power and power transmission units 30, 40, and 50 that transmit drive power of the motor 20 to an output shaft 60. The power transmission units 30, 40, and 50 include at least one of a clutch mechanism 30 that switches between a state where the motor 20 and the output shaft 60 are connected and a state where the motor 20 and the output shall 60 are disconnected, in accordance with movement of an operation rod 32, and a brake mechanism 40 that brakes rotation of the output shaft 60 in accordance with movement of an operation rod 43.
Switching arrangement and transmission
A connecting arrangement includes first and second idler gears (6, 7) arranged coaxially and connectable via an engagement unit. The engagement unit includes a coupling element coupled to the first idler gear (7) in a direction of rotation and axially movable between a home position and a coupling position. In the coupling position, the coupling element is coupled to the second idler gear (6) in addition to being coupled to the first idler gear (7) in the direction of rotation. In the home position, the coupling element and the second idler gear (6) are freely turnable with respect to each other. The first and second idler gears (6, 7) are helical-cut spur gears. The coupling element is guided in a helically extending guide (18) on the first idler gear (7) and, in the coupling position, engages into a helically extending engagement geometry (21) on the second idler gear (6).
SINGLE ELECTRIC MOTOR DRIVE AXLE WITH MULTIPLE RATIOS
An electric drive axle for a motor vehicle including an axle housing, an electric motor having an output shaft directly driven by a bevel pinion gear coupled thereto, a fixed ratio planetary gear arrangement, a differential unit including a differential gear arrangement housed within a differential case and a first clutch selectively operable to connect a portion of the planetary gear set to a stationary member of the drive axle so that the drive axle operates in a first gear ratio.
Power transmission device
A power transmission device has a back torque transmission cam that brings driving clutch plates 6 and driven clutch plates 7 into press contact with each other. This occurs by moving a second clutch member 4b when a rotational force is input to a first clutch member 4a, via the output shaft 3. A pressure member 5 is located at a non-actuation position. A back torque transmission cam can hold abutment between an interlocking member 9 and weight member 8 by moving the second clutch member 4b in a direction of being brought into proximity to the interlocking member 9.

ELECTRIC DRIVE AXLE SYSTEM WITH A SELF-INDEXING CLUTCH AND METHOD FOR OPERATION OF SAID CLUTCH
Methods and systems for a clutch assembly in an electric drive axle of a vehicle are provided. In one example, a clutch assembly in a gear train is provided that includes a locking clutch. The locking clutch includes a gear including a plurality of teeth having at least one tooth with a tapered end, an indexing shaft rotationally connected to an output shaft, a shift collar mounted on the indexing shaft, configured to translate on the indexing shaft into an engaged and disengaged configuration, and including a plurality of teeth on a face, where at least one tooth in the plurality of teeth in the shift collar includes a tapered end, and an indexing mechanism coupled to the shift collar and the indexing shaft and configured to accommodate for indexing between the indexing shaft and the shift collar during shift collar engagement.
Transmission
The transmission includes a rotation shaft, a shift gear, and a gear switching part. The shift gear is rotatably supported by the rotation shaft. The gear switching part is relatively unrotatably supported by the rotation shaft in a movable manner in an axial direction. The gear switching part is configured to be moved in the axial direction by a shift fork, to switch connection and disconnection between the rotation shaft and the shift gear. The gear switching part and the shift fork have a bearing therebetween. The bearing is brought into contact with the gear switching part and the shift fork, thereby reducing friction between the gear switching part and the shift fork, resulting in improvement of durability of the sliding surfaces of the gear switching part and the shift fork.
POWER TRANSMISSION APPARATUS OF HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A power transmission apparatus of a hybrid electric vehicle includes an input shaft configured of receiving an engine torque, a motor shaft configured of receiving a torque of a motor/generator, first and second planetary gear sets respectively having first to third rotation elements and fourth to sixth rotation elements, a first shaft connected to the first rotation element and selectively connectable to each of the input shaft and the motor shaft, a second shaft fixedly connecting the second and fifth rotation elements, and selectively connectable to the input shaft, the motor shaft, and a transmission housing, respectively, a third shaft fixedly connecting the third and fourth rotation elements and selectively connectable to the transmission housing, a fourth shaft fixedly connecting the sixth rotation element and an output gear, and a plurality of engagement elements including at least one clutch and at least one brake.
