Clutch Assembly for a Motor Vehicle Drivetrain, and Motor Vehicle Drivetrain
A clutch assembly for a motor vehicle drivetrain for coupling coupling elements for conjoint rotation includes a clutch unit, a brake unit and at least one permanent magnet between the clutch unit and the brake unit. The clutch unit is shiftable into a coupling state in which the coupling elements are coupled to one another by shifting the clutch unit from a first position in which the coupling elements are decoupled into a second position in which the coupling elements are coupled. First and second electrically energizable coils are electrically energizable to move the permanent magnet from the first position into the second position or vice versa. A holding plate is located adjacent to the at least one permanent magnet to suppress magnetic flux from the at least one permanent magnet to the brake unit. A motor vehicle drivetrain containing at least one clutch assembly is also provided.
Actuation system for cockpit control levers
An actuation system for an aircraft can include an actuator and a plurality of clutches connected to and structured to be moved by the actuator. The actuation system can include a plurality of control levers connected to the plurality of clutches and structured to be moved by the plurality of clutches when the plurality of clutches are moved by the actuator. The actuation system can include a processor connected to the actuator and to the plurality of clutches. The processor can identify one or more clutches connected to one or more control levers of the plurality of control levers for controlling an operation of the aircraft, and cause the one or more clutches connected to the one or more control levers to be in an engaged stat. The processor can activate the actuator to cause movement of the one or more control levers via the one or more clutches.

Gas laser apparatus and magnetic bearing control method
A gas laser apparatus includes: a magnetic bearing including an electromagnet capable of controlling a magnetic force, and configured to rotatably support a rotary shaft of a fan in a magnetically levitated state by the magnetic force, the fan being configured to supply a laser gas; an electromagnet control unit configured to control the magnetic force of the electromagnet based on displacement of a levitated position of the rotary shaft and adjust the levitated position; a motor configured to generate torque for rotating the fan; a magnetic coupling configured to couple the rotary shaft and a drive shaft of a motor with a magnetic attractive force and transmit the torque of the motor to the rotary shaft; an attractive force estimating sensor configured to detect a parameter that enables an attractive force of the magnetic coupling to be estimated; an attractive force measuring unit configured to measure the attractive force of the magnetic coupling based on the detected parameter; and a correction unit configured to correct the magnetic force of the electromagnet according to a variation in the attractive force measured by the attractive force measuring unit.
Electronic locking differential
An electronic locking differential that includes a movable electromagnet to selectively operate a dog clutch for locking a side gear to a carrier. The dog clutch includes a dog member having a plurality of legs that extend through leg apertures in the carrier. A cam mechanism is employed on the legs and the carrier to generate and apply a force to the dog member to maintain the dog member in an engaged position when torque is transmitted through the cam mechanism. The carrier is configured with an annular rib that surrounds a pocket. The annular rib has a frustoconical shape that matches that of a pole piece on the electromagnet. The electromagnet is received into the pocket when the electromagnet is operated and the dog member is in its engaged position.
Driveline Disconnect Assembly
A driveline disconnect assembly disconnects a wheel hub from a drive shaft supported by a grounding component, such as a suspension knuckle. The driveline disconnect assembly includes a support frame that is fixedly secured to the grounding component. The support frame extends around at least a portion of the drive shaft and extends between first and second support frame sides. The support frame defines a central axis. A linear actuator is fixedly secured to the support frame and extends around at least a portion of the drive shaft. The linear actuator includes a shift sleeve moving axially relative to the support frame. The shift sleeve extends around at least a portion of the drive shaft to selectively engage and disengage the wheel hub to connect and disconnect the wheel hub from the drive shaft, respectively.
STRAIN WAVE GEARING WITH INPUT TO OUTPUT BRAKING
A braking assembly for a strain wave gearing of a surgical robotic manipulator, the braking assembly including a first braking member fixedly coupled to an input portion of a strain wave gearing of a surgical robotic manipulator; and a second braking member fixedly coupled to an output portion of the strain wave gearing, and wherein during a braking operation the first braking member contacts the second braking member to mechanically brake the input portion to the output portion.

Method of disengaging a clutching device and electric driveline
The present document relates to a method of disengaging a clutching device. The method comprises sweeping an output torque of an electric motor drivingly connected to the clutching device such that a torque transmitted by the clutching device vanishes at least temporarily during the sweep, and disengaging the clutching device during the sweep. The present document further relates to an electric driveline for carrying out the method.
