Ankle movement capture and conversion into energy
A portion of ankle movement can be harnessed into stored energy that can be released for various purposes, such as to assist in movement or to charge a battery. This harnessing can be achieved in various manners. In one example manner, an offset pulley component can transfer ankle movement to a generator in a shoe insole. In another example manner, a slider can cause a brace arch to match an ankle arch such that the movement is appropriately harnessed.

MOTOR DRIVE DEVICE
A motor drive device includes a stator, a rotor, a first output shaft being provided in the rotor shaft and integrally rotating with a first drive gear, a second output shaft being provided in the first output shaft and integrally rotating with a second drive gear, a first one-way clutch being provided between an inner periphery of the rotor shaft and an outer periphery of the first output shaft, the first one-way clutch transmitting only a driving force that operates in a first direction, a second one-way clutch being provided between the inner periphery of the rotor shaft and an outer periphery of the second output shaft, the second one-way clutch transmitting only a driving force that operates in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction, and a decelerator.
Coupling
An industrial work vehicle including a frame and a first shaft rotatably connected to the frame via first and second bearings. The work vehicle further includes a second shaft rotatably positioned in line with the first shaft and connected to the first shaft via a coupling. The second shaft is further connected to the frame via a third bearing. The coupling includes a first connection and a second connection. The first connection connects the first shaft to the second shaft via a fourth bearing adapted to support a radial load and to accommodate an axial rotation and an angular misalignment of one shaft with respect to the other shaft. The second connection connects the first shaft to the second shaft via flange elements which are interconnected via an intermediary element adapted to transmit a torque and to accommodate a misalignment of one shaft with respect to the other shaft.
TURBINE ASSEMBLY FOR HYDROKINETIC TORQUE CONVERTER, AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A hydrokinetic torque converter comprises a stator assembly and a turbine assembly rotatable about a rotational axis. The stator assembly comprises a stator comprising an annular stator hub coaxial to the rotational axis, an annular turbine core ring coaxial to the rotational axis, and a plurality of stator blades integral with and interconnecting the stator hub and the turbine core ring. The turbine assembly comprises a first turbine component coaxial with the rotational axis, and a second turbine component non-moveably secured to the turbine component coaxially therewith. The first turbine component is formed separately from the second turbine component. The first turbine component has a plurality of first turbine blade members integrally formed therewith.

FLEXPLATE ASSEMBLY AND SYSTEMS INCORPORATING THE SAME
A flexplate assembly (26) for use in a starting system (31) for translating rotational torque between an engine and a transmission includes a drive assembly (28) adapted to be attached to the engine and the transmission for translating rotational torque therebetween. The flexplate assembly (26) also includes a ring assembly (30) having a ring gear (32) adapted to permanently engage a pinion gear (24) of a starter motor (22) of the starting system (31). The ring assembly (30) rotates with the drive assembly (28) in response to rotational torque generated by the pinion gear (24) of the starter motor (22). The drive assembly (28) disengages from the ring assembly (30) in response to rotational torque generated by the engine.
CLUTCH CONFIGURATIONS FOR A MULTIPLE MOTOR MIXED-SPEED CONTINUOUS POWER TRANSMISSION
An electric powertrain includes a first electric motor that has an uninterrupted connection with a drive shaft of a vehicle. The electric powertrain further includes a second electric motor that has an interruptible connection with the drive shaft. In one form, this interruptible connection includes a clutch. The electric powertrain further includes a first gear train in the form of a first planetary gear and a second gear train in the form of a second planetary gear. The clutch in one variation includes a positive clutch in the form of a dog clutch. The dog clutch has a clutch suspension configured to deflect a clutch collar when gearing is misaligned during shifting.
