DRUM BRAKE AND NOISE PREVENTION DEVICE THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a drum brake and a noise prevention device of the drum brake. The drum brake is provided in a vehicle, and includes a brake drum provided to be mounted on a wheel and including at least one bolt accommodation hole and a noise prevention device connected to one end of an axle shaft and configured to connect an axle flange including at least one bolt hole and the brake drum. Accordingly, vibrations of the axle shaft and the drum brake may be separated to prevent squeal noise.
Load reactive braking systems and devices
A roller assembly comprises a housing having an outer surface attached thereto, and a braking arrangement positioned at least partially within the housing. The braking arrangement is configured to increase resistance to rotation of the housing proportionally to a load applied against the outer surface.
Planetary carrier with spring clutch
A planetary gear assembly comprising: a housing, which contains: a planetary carrier, a sun gear, at least one planetary gear, a ring gear, a coil spring; an input shaft; and an output shaft. The coil spring extends around at least a portion of the planetary carrier. The coil spring includes a first tang in communication with the ring gear and a second tang in communication with the housing. When torque is applied to the input shaft, the planetary carrier rotates within the coil spring in one or more driving directions so that torque is transferred to the output shaft. When no torque is applied to the input shaft and torque is applied to the output shaft, the coil spring constricts and provides sufficient contact force to the planetary carrier and housing to prevent the planetary carrier from moving relative to the housing in at least one of the driving directions.
Cable disk brake with brake pad clearance adjustment mechanism
A cable disk brake apparatus comprises a caliper housing structured to be attached to a bicycle, a first brake pad coupled to the caliper housing for movement between a release position and a braking position, and a second brake pad coupled to the caliper housing and arranged facing the first brake pad. A drive shaft is coupled to the caliper housing, wherein the drive shaft rotates around a drive shaft axis to move the first brake pad in an axial direction from the release position towards the braking position. An actuating member rotates to communicate rotational force to the drive shaft to cause the drive shaft to move the first brake pad from the release position towards the braking position, and a drive coupling member is coupled to the drive shaft to communicate rotational force from the actuating member to the drive shaft. An adjusting member adjusts a position of the drive coupling member relative to the actuating member.
Axle Flange and Brake Carrier
In an axle flange, in particular of a commercial vehicle, which is arranged on a wheel axle of a motor vehicle, having at least one flange surface which has a plurality of through holes for connection to a brake carrier, wherein fasteners can be guided through the through holes, the through holes are arranged in such a way that they are adapted firstly to the hole pattern of a brake carrier of a disc brake and secondly to the hole pattern of a brake carrier of a self-supporting drum brake.
Unit brake
Disclosed is unit brake, which is equipped with a cylinder apparatus in which a clutch mechanism that switches between transmitting or cutting off a biasing force of a spring brake part is disposed, is capable of preventing a braking force due to the spring brake part from unintentionally decreasing due to a meshing section of the clutch mechanism disengaging, and is of a size that can replace an existing unit brake, and maintains the performance of bearings in the clutch mechanism even with long-term use. The clutch mechanism of the unit brake includes: a nut member that rotatably screws on a spindle that is positioned in an area that communicates with the atmosphere, and is movably supported in a direction opposite to braking; a clutch that is disposed in a direction opposite to braking with respect to the nut member, and faces the nut member in the vicinity of the spindle; a clutch box that is formed in a cylinder shape, and houses the nut member and clutch on the inside; and bearings that rotatably support the nut member on the inside of the clutch box.
Bearing bracket configuration for drum brake and method for assembling a bearing bracket configuration
A bearing bracket configuration for a drum brake of a motor vehicle. A bearing bracket (30) for an eccentric shaft (20) is provided with a separate mounting (50) for the brake cylinder (10). This makes it possible for the fastening to be divided into separate parts, whereby accessibility for fitting is improved and it is possible for the parts to be largely preassembled. Also, a drum brake and a motor vehicle with the configuration and a method for fitting a bearing bracket configuration are disclosed.

Fabricated Steering Knuckles
A steering knuckle (18) is provided for use in association with a vehicle steering assembly (10). The steering knuckle (10) includes a knuckle body (20) having a generally vertical face (26) and an upper yolk arm (22) having a generally vertical face (54). The generally vertical faces (26, 54) of the steering knuckle body (20) and the upper yolk arm (22) are connected to each other. The generally vertical face (54) of the upper yolk arm (22) includes a camshaft bore (62) extending therethrough and configured to receive a camshaft (64). The generally vertical face of the knuckle body may be welded to a spindle (24), with a portion of the spindle being cut away to allow for a complete circular weld between the knuckle body and the spindle.
Brake System
The present invention relates to a brake system comprising an actuating part and a brake part, the actuating part having a pressure chamber and a restoring section, the pressure chamber and the restoring section being separated from one another in a fluid-tight manner by way of a piston, it being possible for the piston to be fixed on an engagement element in such a way that a movement of the piston brings about a movement of the engagement element, the engagement element protruding into the brake part and having, in the brake part, a force section which is designed to transmit a force to a brake means, the brake part and the predominant part of the actuating part being arranged in a housing.
