Pumpjack lock
A brake lock system for a pumpjack brake apparatus comprises a latch handle lever pivotally mounted at a location on a pumpjack, a countershaft rotatably mounted on the pumpjack, latch handle linkage, and control linkage that transitions movement and force of the latch handle lever to a latch arm with a latch dog for pivoting the latch arm to insert the latch dog in a notch in the pumpjack brake apparatus. The latch handle, latch handle linkage, control linkage, and latch arm have dimensions that provide a mechanical advantage of the latch handle lever over the latch arm.
Rotation braking device
A rotation braking device includes a clutch mechanism disposed between an inner member and an outer member. The clutch mechanism includes an electromagnetic actuator which controls relative rotation of the cage such that, due to the relative rotation, engaging elements are moved between an engaged position and a neutral position. An armature is rotationally fixed relative to the cage, and can be directly magnetically attracted to an electromagnet which is rotationally fixed relative a housing that houses the clutch mechanism. The outer member is directly supported in a radial direction by the housing and engages the housing so as to limit relative rotation relative to each other.
Drum brake shoe with vibration damping supports
A brake shoe for a drum brake includes a unitary body defining a brake table and one or more webs supporting the brake table. Each web has first and second ends. The first end is configured for pivotally coupling to an associated brake spider of the drum brake and the second end is configured to respond to a force applied by an actuator that causes the brake shoe to move between positions of engagement and disengagement with an associated braking surface. The unitary body further defines one or more supports extending between the two webs and/or between one of the webs and the brake table. In some embodiments, the supports comprise vibration dampers configured to deflect from an unloaded position to a loaded position in the presence of a load and to return to the unloaded position in the absence of the load.
Braking System for a Vehicle
A braking system for a vehicle that includes at least one vehicle wheel and a friction brake associated with the vehicle wheel. The friction brake acts during an operation state of the vehicle and/or while the vehicle is in a parked state. The braking system includes an additional mechanical locking device for the vehicle wheel. The mechanical locking device secures the vehicle wheel in a form-fitting manner when the vehicle is in the parked state to prevent the vehicle wheel from rolling.
Brake drum
The present disclosure relates to a brake drum for a drum brake for a vehicle. The brake drum comprises a braking surface adapted to receive at least one brake shoe of the drum brake. The brake drum further comprises a cooling arrangement comprising a set of cooling conduits located between a braking surface and an outer surface. The material of the brake drum located radially between the set of cooling conduits and the braking surface at an inner axial cross-section has an inner axial aggregate thermal conductance and the material of the brake drum located radially between the set of cooling conduits and the braking surface at the outer axial cross-section has an outer axial aggregate thermal conductance. Accordingly, the inner axial aggregate thermal conductance is different from the outer axial aggregate thermal conductance.
WHEEL END SUPPORT ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
A wheel end support assembly and method of assembly. The assembly may include a spindle, a brake torque plate, and a locator bushing. The locator bushing is received in a first locator hole of the spindle and a second locator hole of the brake torque plate and aligns the brake torque plate to the spindle.

The locator bushing is received in a first locator hole of the spindle and a second locator hole of the brake torque plate and aligns the brake torque plate to the spindle.
Parking brake actuation system for a vehicle
A parking brake actuation system mounted to a tail shaft of a vehicle's transmission is operably connected to a brake assembly of the vehicle having brake pads housed within a brake drum. The parking brake actuation system includes a mounting bracket coupled to the tail shaft of the vehicle's transmission, an actuator coupled to the mounting bracket, and a bell crank coupled to the tail shaft of the vehicle's transmission and the actuator, and also connected to an engagement cam by a linkage assembly. Actuation of the actuator to a retracted position permits rotational movement of the bell crank to transfer through the linkage assembly to engage the pair of brake pads with the brake drum. Actuation of the actuator to an extended position permits rotational movement of the bell crank to transfer through the linkage assembly to disengage the pair of brake pads from the brake drum.
Brake drum for a vehicle drum brake
A brake drum for a drum brake, in particular of a motor vehicle, includes a cylindrical jacket and a support pot which axially adjoins the jacket and which has a hub ring portion to be secured to a wheel hub. The monolithic brake drum is formed at least in part of a fiber-reinforced plastic.
