A cast iron brake caliper of a disc brake, includes a caliper back and caliper head connected to the caliper back via tension struts arranged parallel and spaced apart from one another. The caliper head has a housing surrounding an accommodation chamber for functional parts and, separate from and adjacent to the housing, an integrally molded, protruding connector, which accommodates a bearing bore for a fixed bearing, and is connected to the housing by way of an integrally molded rib. The brake caliper is designed such that the rib is guided across the connector up to and into an outer edge region of the caliper head.

The invention relates to a braking and/or clamping device for a shaft guided in relation to a main body, comprising an actuation assembly and a shaft-coupling assembly. In this case, the actuation assembly comprises a split housing which has two bending plates which are elastically deformable in some regions. The bending plates each have tong jaws with friction surfaces, the respective surface normal of which are directed inwards. A sealed pressure chamber, which can be filled with a pressure medium, lies between the bending plates. Parts of a shaft-coupling assembly project between the clamping zones, said parts establishing the linking for the braked or clamped shaft. When the pressure in the pressure chamber is relieved, the frictional surfaces of the actuation assembly can be applied to the frictional surfaces of the shaft-coupling assembly, thereby producing the braking and/or clamping force. According to the present invention, a braking and/or clamping device is developed, which has a reduced structural width even with a large diameter, consists of few components and also functions in a simple, secure and maintenance-free manner.

Disc brake

A disc brake having an arrangement to prevent or inhibit fitting of first and second brake pads individually or in combination with friction material facing away from the rotor. A first formation of a first brake pad interacts with a corresponding first formation of a brake actuation mechanism for the first brake pad to be fitted in the first mounting structure. A second formation of the second brake pad interacts with a corresponding second formation of a carrier for the second brake pad to be fitted in the second mounting structure.

The present invention relates to a hub for mounting a brake disc to a flange member on a vehicle axis. The hub member comprises a flange section with a plurality of first openings adapted to receive mounting members for mounting the flange section to a flange member and a brake disc attachment section connected to the flange section. The brake disc attachment section circumferentially surrounding the flange section and comprises a plurality of second openings adapted to receive mounting members for mounting the attachment section to a brake disc. The attachment section further comprises at least one reinforcement rib connected to at least one of the plurality of second openings.

Hub for mounting a brake disc to a vehicle axis

The present invention relates to a hub for mounting a brake disc to a flange member on a vehicle axis. The hub member comprises a flange section with a plurality of first openings adapted to receive mounting members for mounting the flange section to a flange member and a brake disc attachment section connected to the flange section. The brake disc attachment section circumferentially surrounding the flange section and comprises a plurality of second openings adapted to receive mounting members for mounting the attachment section to a brake disc. The attachment section further comprises at least one reinforcement rib connected to at least one of the plurality of second openings.

Placed between the dynamoelectric machine and the transmission is a coupling which is configured for direct attachment of a brake disk of a braking apparatus which is arranged between the transmission and the dynamoelectric machine.

The aim of the invention is for the assembly to enable precise and reproducible measurements of a measurement quantity characteristic of the braking force. This aim is achieved in that the brake holder is arranged in such a way that the brake holder can be elastically and laterally displaced with respect to the carrier, wherein the brake holder is fastened to the carrier by at least one elastic bending element, wherein a sensor device is provided for determining the displacement distance of the brake holder with respect to the carrier.
