A brake caliper device adapted to be used with a brake disk includes a positioning unit, a main body unit, a lining unit, and an actuating unit. The positioning unit includes a positioning member that is adapted to be fixed to a vehicle body, two upper guiding members and a lower guiding member that is lower than the upper guiding members. The upper and lower guiding members are connected to the positioning member and extend along an axial direction parallel to a central axis of the brake disk. The main body unit is movably connected to the upper and lower guiding members. The actuating unit is operable to move the main body unit, thereby driving the lining unit to clamp the brake disk.

Hydraulic caliper brake assembly for multiple rotor thicknesses, diameters, and axial offsets

A caliper brake (10) includes a housing (12) formed of a first housing portion (16) and a second housing portion (18). Each of the first housing portion and second housing portion include a channel (104) extending therethrough. The channels (104) include pins (102) for receiving one or more shims (94) thereon. Brake (10) includes a first stator assembly (60) and a second stator assembly (64) that are separated by a first distance when no shims (94) are on the pins (102). The first stator assembly (60) and the second stator assembly (64) are separated by a second distance less than the first distance when one or more shims (94) are on the pins (102).

Disc brake

A disc brake that includes a caliper having a housing, an actuation mechanism, and a cover plate. The cover plate is releasably mounted to an outboard facing surface of a housing of the caliper by at least one fastening member that is insertable in a generally inboard direction and removable in a generally outboard direction.

Rotor cover

Disc brake for a utility vehicle

A disc brake for a utility vehicle is provided. The disc brake includes a brake caliper overlapping a brake disc, the brake caliper being held on a brake carrier located on the vehicle in an axially displaceable manner with respect to the brake disc. The brake carrier has brake lining slots on opposite sides of the brake disc defined by brake carrier lugs on the entry and the exit side. Each slot receives a brake lining having a brake plate and a friction lining fastened thereto, configured such that each brake lining is supported at least at the entry side in the direction of rotation of the brake disc on the entry side brake carrier lug during braking.

Adjuster assembly

An adjuster assembly for manually adjusting the position of a brake pad relative to a brake rotor of a disc brake, the assembly comprising: a continuous wear sensor; and a manual rewind apparatus to manually reset the position of the brake pad when replacement thereof is required; the manual rewind apparatus comprising a shaft arranged to extend into a housing of the disc brake; wherein the continuous wear sensor is arranged to be located within the housing of the disc brake and is located proximate to the shaft.

ELEVATOR CAR PARKING BRAKE

According to an aspect, there is provided an elevator car parking brake comprising a brake carrier having a first plate and a second plate, the plates being spaced from each other and positioned to enable a guide rail to travel within the space between the plates, a caliper movably connected to the brake carrier, brake pads, and an actuator configured to move the brake pads against a guide rail in a braking operation. The elevator car parking brake further comprises at least one first compression spring arranged between the first plate of the brake carrier and a brake pad directly associated with the actuator; and at least one second compression spring arranged between the second plate of the brake carrier and the caliper, the first and second compression springs being configured to keep the brake pads substantially centered with respect to the brake carrier.
