The aim of the invention is to provide a running gear with a mount for a brake linkage on a bogie, wherein the mount has a long service life and requires little maintenance. The transmission of shocks and vibrations between the brake linkage and the bogie is reduced, and the bogie and the brake linkage are electrically insulated from each other. A running gear for a rail vehicle including a bogie and a brake linkage is proposed, having at least one bearing element. The brake linkage is mounted on the bogie and/or is connected to the bogie by means of the at least one bearing element, and the at least one bearing element has a plastic and/or consists of a plastic.

The filter insert has a curved circumferential edge. The housing has a curved receiving groove. The curved circumferential edge engages the curved receiving groove. The filter insert is L-shaped and is configured to at least partially cover a friction surface and a circumferential surface of a brake disc of the disc brake assembly. The curved circumferential edge of the filter insert projects past the filter medium.
Wheel shield

The central disk includes an outwardly open fastening surface such as a channel positioned around an outer diameter of the central disk. The wheel shield includes a radially-compressible ring such as radially extending filaments. The radially-compressible ring has an inner diameter attached in the outwardly open fastening surface of the central disk and sized to engagingly contact an inner diameter of a vehicle wheel rim to restrict movement of brake dust to an exposed outer surface of the vehicle wheel rim while still allowing for the movement of air for cooling.
S-CAM BRAKE
An S-cam brake including a brake chamber to which compressed air is supplied; a slack adjuster rotatably connecting to the brake chamber; an S-cam unit having an S-cam connecting to and rotating around the slack adjuster; and a drum having a lining generating braking force with widening according to rotation of the S-cam is provided, wherein the brake chamber includes an upper housing having an air supply port through which compressed air is introduced; a lower housing coupled to the upper housing to form an internal space; a diaphragm having edges fixed to the upper housing and the lower housing and deformed by compressed air; a piston disposed to contact the diaphragm and move linearly; a piston push rod extending from the piston and having one end connected to the slack adjuster; and a spring having one end supported by the piston and the other end supported by the lower housing, wherein a thickness of the upper housing is greater than a thickness of the lower housing.
Disc brake and piston boot
A piston boot has an annular fixing part that is formed on one end side of a stretchable part and abuts against an inner peripheral side of the cylinder. An outer peripheral surface of the annular fixing part is provided with a first region that abuts against an inner peripheral surface of the cylinder and a second region that is disposed closer to a bottom side of the cylinder than the first region in a piston axial direction. The outer diameter of the first region is larger than the inner diameter of the region of the inner peripheral surface of the cylinder that faces the second region.
Coatings for brake discs, method for reducing wear and corrosion and associated brake disc
Brake pads are prepared using a formulation of friction material of the copper-free type (Low-Steel or Organic Non-Asbestos) and at least one friction surface of a brake disc, which is intended to cooperate with the brake pad, is covered with an anti-wear and anti-corrosion coating consisting of a surface layer of chromium carbide particles (Cr3C2) dispersed in a metallic matrix consisting of a NiCr alloy, and coupled to a second layer consisting of selected combinations of metallic materials, chosen from the group consisting of: Cr3C2-high density NiCr, NiAl alloys, FeNiCrMoSiC alloys, metallic nickel, NiCr alloys, and/or any combination of the above.
Brake Caliper Device, Disc Brake Assembly, Use of a Brake Caliper Device and Method for Radially Retaining Air
A brake caliper device for a disc brake assembly with a brake disc has a brake caliper support to be arranged stationarily relative to a vehicle. A brake caliper for holding at least one brake pad is provided, wherein the brake caliper can slide relative to the brake caliper support in an axial direction. A seal device is provided that seals a gap formed between the brake caliper and the brake caliper support. The seal device extends in the axial direction. The seal device has a brush, a sealing lip, and/or a loose sealing material projecting away from the brake caliper support in a direction toward the oppositely positioned brake caliper and/or projecting away from the brake caliper in a direction toward the oppositely positioned brake caliper support.
ANTI-RATTLE CALIPER SLEEVE
A fastener assembly is provided for helping to secure a mounting bracket to a housing of a vehicle caliper assembly having a piston axially movable for applying braking force to a brake pad. The fastener assembly includes a guide device including guide pin secured to the housing and having a head and a shaft extending into a bore in the mounting bracket. A sleeve includes a first portion configured to extend into the bore and a second portion provided inside the first portion and encircling and engaging the shaft for damping relative movement between the guide pin and the bore in response to vehicle vibrations. A flexible seal encircles the shaft and is connected to the guide pin and the sleeve such that axial movement of the guide pin relative to the bore changes the length of the seal.
Friction Disk and Brake
The disclosure provides a friction disk and a brake including a magnetic yoke iron core, a first movable plate, a friction disk, a first coil, at least one second coil, an armature and an elastic part; the magnetic yoke iron core includes a first mounting space, a second mounting space and at least one third mounting space distributed coaxially; the first movable plate is located in the first mounting space and close to a first shaft end; the friction disk is located in the first mounting space; the first coil is arranged in the second mounting space; the at least one second coil correspondingly is arranged in the at least one third mounting space; the armature is located at the second shaft end; the elastic part has a pre-tightening force that enables the armature to be far away from the magnetic yoke iron core.
