COMBINED AIR SPRING SYSTEM

A combined air spring system includes an upper cover plate, an air bag, an upper end plate and a lower end plate. An outer periphery of the upper cover plate is connected with an outer periphery of the upper end plate through the air bag. A low-position sand clock elastomer is connected between the upper end plate and the lower end plate . A pressing plate is installed at a bottom portion of the upper cover plate, and a high-position elastomer is connected between the upper cover plate and the pressing plate. A limiting table is arranged at a bottom portion of the pressing plate. A limiting groove is formed in a top face of the upper end plate. The limiting table is located in the limiting groove in a deflated state.

EMERGENCY AIR SPRING ASSEMBLY

An emergency air spring assembly includes an upper cover plate, an air bag, an upper end plate and a lower end plate. An outer periphery of the upper end plate is connected with an outer periphery of the lower end plate through the air bag. An hourglass elastomer is connected between the upper cover plate and the upper end plate. A plurality of steel springs are arranged between the upper cover plate and the upper end plate in a circumferential direction of the sand clock elastomer in a pressing mode.

VEHICLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT DEVICE

A vehicle height adjustment device includes a rear suspension, an electromagnetic valve control unit, and a weight estimation unit. The rear suspension includes a support member. The electromagnetic valve control unit determines a target movement based on an interrelation between the target movement and a weight applied to a vehicle, under which the target movement is set to an upper limit when the weight is larger than a predetermined weight, so that an actual movement of the support member reaches the target movement. The electromagnetic valve control unit determines the target movement based on a temporary weight. The weight estimation unit increases the temporary weight, even when the actual movement reached the target movement. The electromagnetic valve control unit decreases the target length, even when the temporary weight increased. The weight estimation unit estimates as the weight the temporary weight when the actual length has finally reached the target length.

MECHANICAL SPRING ACTUATOR

A linear actuator comprising a housing with a proximal end and a distal end, and defining a central cavity extending axially; a piston tube at least partially positioned axially within the central cavity; a first elongated rotatable screw positioned axially within the central cavity; a first cylindrical nut mounted about the first elongated rotatable screw and configured to move axially as the first elongated rotatable screw rotates; a second elongated rotatable screw positioned axially within the central cavity; a second cylindrical nut mounted about the second elongated rotatable screw and configured to move axially within the central cavity as the second elongated rotatable screw rotates; and a spring positioned around the second elongated rotatable screw between the second cylindrical nut and the distal end of the housing, wherein the spring is configured to bias the second cylindrical nut away from the distal end of the housing.

HOURGLASS TYPE AIR SPRING ASSEMBLY

An hourglass type air spring assembly includes an upper cover plate, an air bag, an upper end plate and a lower end plate. An outer periphery of the upper cover plate is connected with an outer periphery of the upper end plate through the air bag. A low-position hourglass elastomer and a high-position elastomer which are integrally formed are connected with each other between the upper end plate and the lower end plate. An annular notch is formed between the low-position hourglass elastomer and the high-position elastomer, and an annular rigid partition plate matched with the annular notch is arranged in the annular notch.

SPHERICAL SUPPORT FOR A SPRING SEAT IN A VEHICLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM

A spring-damper assembly includes a damper, a coil spring disposed axially about the damper and directly or indirectly engaging an upper spring seat and a lower spring seat. A spherical support is disposed about and coupled to the damper or strut and is in contact with the upper spring seat or the lower spring seat, respectively. The spherical support allows relative movement between the spherical support and the associated upper or lower spring seat to provide a self-aligning feature for minimizing side forces exerted by the coil spring on the damper or strut. In one exemplary embodiment, a layer of material is disposed between the spherical support and the associated upper or lower spring seat to facilitate relative movement between the spherical support and the associated upper or lower spring seat.

STROKE SENSOR SYSTEM AND SHOCK ABSORBER

A stroke sensor system includes a conductor, a coil which moves relative to the conductor and is fitted to one end side of the conductor; and a ferromagnetic body which is arranged on an end position side of the coil. A position of an end portion on one end side of the conductor in a state where a fitting ratio between the conductor and the coil is maximized is defined as the end position. The ferromagnetic body is located on an opposite side to the conductor with the coil interposed therebetween.

SHOCK ABSORBER

A shock absorber includes a hollow rod, a suspension spring arranged outside the hollow rod, a spring receiver arranged to be displaceable with respect to the hollow rod and receiving a load of the suspension spring, an adjusting screw inserted into one end side of the hollow rod and configured to adjust a position of the suspension spring by restricting movement of the spring receiver to the one end side, and a shaft member which transmits a load received by the spring receiver to the adjusting screw inside the hollow rod. An insertion portion which extends in an axial direction of the hollow rod and into which the shaft member is inserted is provided on a side surface of the hollow rod.
