Shortening clutch
A main body provided with a pocket for accommodating a first chain link of another chain, and a lock lever which is capable of switching between a locked state and an unlocked state by pivoting, and which restricts disengagement of the first chain link from the pocket in the locked state, and allows the first chain link to disengage from the pocket in the unlocked state, which is resisted by an urging force of an urging member, wherein the lock lever is provided with a locking piece which projects from a pivot point toward the pocket side, and the locking piece projects toward a position in which movement of a second chain link in an escaping direction is restricted, a first operating piece extending to the side of the pivot point on which one chain is coupled, and a second operating piece extending to the opposite side.
Master link test fixture assembly
A test fixture assembly for proof testing of a master link and a sling assembly. In one embodiment, the test fixture assembly includes a lift connector with a pair of opposed eyes and a pin receivable through the pair of eyes. An optional guide sleeve is receivable over the pin between the opposed eyes. A pair of opposed plates are suspended from the pin. At least a first pair of spaced apart load posts extend between the pair of opposed plates and are configured to receive a master link. For testing a sling assembly with multiple sling legs, a pivoting equalizer plate and a pair of spaced apart equalizer connectors are configured to pivotally connect to the multiple sling legs.
Master link test fixture assembly
A test fixture assembly for proof testing of a master link and a sling assembly. In one embodiment, the test fixture assembly includes a lift connector with a pair of opposed eyes and a pin receivable through the pair of eyes. An optional guide sleeve is receivable over the pin between the opposed eyes. A pair of opposed plates are suspended from the pin. At least a first pair of spaced apart load posts extend between the pair of opposed plates and are configured to receive a master link. CHAIN SLIDER
A chain slider is designed as a cable management device, and includes an interchangeable insert system to adapt different size chain, cable wire rope, synthetic rope or line used in hoisting devices. The chain slider may be manufactured of plastic and injection molded to shape.
MINING PIN RETENTION SYSTEM
An improved drive pin retention system for mining chains is disclosed, including several embodiments. The drive pin retention system further decreases the chance that the chain can break due to sheared dowel pins.
Anchor chain
The invention relates to the field of anchor chains, and more particularly an anchor chain (1) comprising a first plurality of links (3) and, at the end of the chain, a second plurality of links (4) comprising at least three successive links (4) in each of which at least one property selected from its bar diameter and the elastic limit of its material is substantially greater than in each of the links (3) of the first plurality, in order to improve the ability of the chain to withstand fatigue by bending of the links (4) in the second plurality.

CONNECTING ELEMENT AND TRACTION CHAIN
The present invention relates to a connecting element for connecting link chains. The connecting element comprises a base portion defining a centre hole, and a plurality of curved portions extending from the base portion, to which curved portions ends of link chainscan be releasably connected. In the connecting element, each of the plurality of curved portions is curved towards the centre hole. The invention also relates to a traction chain.
