Bicycle transmission apparatus

A bicycle transmission apparatus comprises a base member, an input shaft, a first transmission member, a second transmission member, and a first coupling member. The base member is configured to be attached to a bicycle frame as a separate member from the bicycle frame. The first transmission member is rotatable relative to the base member about a first rotational axis different from the input rotational axis. The second transmission member is rotatable relative to the base member about a second rotational axis different from each of the input rotational axis and the first rotational axis. The first coupling member is configured to couple the first transmission member to the second transmission member to transmit rotation of the first transmission member to the second transmission member at a variable speed stage.

Bicycle derailleur

A bicycle derailleur is basically provided with a base member, a movable member, a coupling structure and an attachment member. The base member is configured to be mounted to a bicycle. The base member has an inner wire guide. The inner wire guide has an inlet portion and an outlet portion. The movable member supports a chain guide. The coupling structure movably couples the movable member to the base member so that the movable member is selectively movable relative to the base member. The attachment member is detachably and/or rotatably attached to the outlet portion of the inner wire guide.

A bicycle derailleur is basically provided with a base member, a chain guide, a linkage assembly and a first adjusting member. The chain guide is pivotally supported with respect to the base member between a retracted and an extended position. The linkage assembly includes a first link coupled to the base member about a first pivot axis and coupled to the chain guide about a second pivot axis. The linkage assembly includes a second link coupling the base member to the chain guide. The second link is farther from the bicycle frame than the first link when the base member is mounted to the bicycle frame. The first adjusting member is movably attached to the first link. The first adjusting member is configured to contact one of the base member and the chain guide to restrict movement of the chain guide at one of the retracted and extended positions.

Reversible mechanical fan

A fan assembly may include an input shaft, first and second belts, first and second pulleys engaged by the first belt, third and fourth pulleys engaged by the second belt, output shaft rotationally coupled to a fan, and a clutch assembly. The second pulley may be rotationally coupled to the first pulley via the first belt so as to rotate in the same direction as the first pulley. The fourth pulley may be rotationally coupled to the third pulley via the second belt so as to rotate in the opposite direction of the third pulley. The clutch assembly may be configured to selectively rotationally couple the output shaft to the input shaft via the first pulley, first belt, and second pulley. The clutch assembly may also be configured to selectively rotationally couple the output shaft to the input shaft via the third pulley, second belt, and fourth pulley.

Bicycle derailleur

A bicycle derailleur includes a fixing member, a selected chain guide unit and a motor unit. The fixing member is configured to be fixed to a bicycle frame. The selected chain guide unit has a chain guide for guiding a bicycle chain and a support mechanism moveably supporting the chain guide relative to the fixing member. The selected chain guide unit is one of a plurality of different configurations of chain guide units. The motor unit is configured to be selectively attached to the selected chain guide unit to move the chain guide. The motor unit is configured to be mounted to each of the plurality of configurations of chain guide units.

CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION

A continuously variable transmission includes a first pulley, a second pulley, and an endless rotatable device operatively interconnecting the first and second pulleys. The endless rotatable device includes a device body and a plurality of device teeth protruding from the device body. Each of the first and second pulleys includes a first sheave, a second sheave, and a pulley axle operatively coupled between the first sheave and the second sheave. The pulley axle defines a pulley center. The first sheave is movable relative to the second sheave along the pulley axle. Each of the first and second sheaves includes a sheave body and a plurality of sheave teeth protruding from the sheave body. The sheave teeth are annularly arranged around the pulley center. The sheave teeth are shaped to mate with the device teeth.

An alternator damper pulley for a vehicle includes a pulley body connected to an engine to receive a rotational power from an engine. A shaft connection portion is provided within the pulley body such that a rotational shaft of an alternator is insertedly coupled therein. A torsion spring is installed on an outer circumferential surface of the shaft connection portion to reduce a variation of the rotational power transmitted from the pulley body. A clutch is interposed between the torsion spring and the pulley body to connect or disconnect the shaft connection portion and the pulley body. A friction damper is installed to apply frictional damping force to the shaft connection portion.

Crankshaft isolating pulley

An isolating pulley comprising a hub comprising an inertia carrier, the inertia carrier having an inner surface, a spring carrier journalled to the hub, the spring carrier having a releasable driving engagement with the inertia carrier, a pulley journalled to the hub, a spring drivingly engaged between the spring carrier and the pulley, a clutch spring having a frictional engagement with the inner surface, and which frictional engagement is partially releasable upon a temporary, pressing contact of the pulley upon the clutch spring.

HEAT SHIELDING AIR FUNNEL

A method and apparatus for heat management in a side-by-side off-road vehicle having an engine and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) including a cooling system with a CVT cooling intake and a CVT cooling exhaust. The method and apparatus directs CVT cooling exhaust over at least a portion of the exhaust pipe of the engine and to shield heat from the occupant and cargo spaces of the vehicle. The apparatus includes at least one section that concentrically covers the exhaust pipe and channels airflow from the CVT cooling exhaust over the exhaust pipe to be emitted towards the muffler area at the rear of the vehicle.
