Regarding a travel power transmission apparatus for a tractor, in which a creep speed changing apparatus is housed in a transmission case, the present invention increases a deceleration ratio throughout the creep speed change while suppressing an increase in the size of the transmission case. A creep speed changing apparatus includes: a first power transmission gear that is provided on an output shaft gear of a gear transmission; a first deceleration gear that is supported by a relay shaft so as to be rotatable relative to the relay shaft, in a state of meshing with the first power transmission gear; a second power transmission gear that is provided on the first deceleration gear; a second deceleration gear that is supported by an output shaft of the gear transmission so as to be rotatable relative to the output shaft, in a state of meshing with the second power transmission gear; a third power transmission gear that is provided on the second deceleration gear; a third deceleration gear that is supported by the relay shaft so as not to be rotatable relative to the relay shaft, in a state of meshing with the third power transmission gear; and a pair of deceleration gears that are provided so as to span the relay shaft and the output shaft, and decelerate power from the relay shaft and transmit the resulting power to the output shaft.

A single chain drive is disclosed that includes a drive sprocket, a drive motor, idler sprockets, front and rear axle sprockets, and a single chain. The drive motor rotates the drive sprocket, which rotates the idler sprockets, which rotate the single chain, which rotates the front and rear axle sprockets. The drive sprocket can be a lantern gear with covers, and pins that connect the cover, and the idler sprockets can have teeth that mesh with the pins between the covers of the drive sprocket. A drive shaft can couple the drive motor and drive sprocket, and an integrated parking brake can prevent rotation of the drive shaft when engaged. A chain case with lubricant can enclose the drive sprocket, idler sprockets, chain, and axle sprockets. The drive sprocket, idler sprockets and axle sprockets can be sized to provide a desired gear reduction.

When the second drive wheel propels the second gear to rotate, the first gear revolves around the axis of the second gear, is selectively meshed with one of the output gears, and is driven by the first drive wheel to propel the output gear to rotate and drive the phase shifter connected to the output gear.

The transmission arrangement has an additional torque transmission path that may be implemented. The additional torque transmission path runs from the torque input shaft through a double gear to the torque output shaft. The transmission assembly can be included in a corresponding overall transmission which can be installed in an agricultural machine.

A harmonic drive comprises a wave generator, a resilient, geared transmission element that can be deformed by the wave generator, a connecting element on the housing side, and a connecting element on the output side. The resilient transmission element has two different tooth systems, a spline tooth system and a running tooth system; the spline tooth system is coupled along the entire circumference to one of the connecting elements for conjoint rotation therewith, and the running tooth system is provided for cooperation with the wave generator and partial engagement in a mating running tooth system on the other connecting element.

A strain wave gearing has a rigid internally toothed gear, a flexible externally toothed gear, and a wave generator. Before being flexed by the wave generator, the externally toothed gear has a cylindrical body part, an inside diameter of which is such that the inside diameter D is smallest at a rear end thereof and increases gradually from the rear end to an opening end thereof. After being flexed by the wave generator, D1D is satisfied where D1 is the minor diameter of an elliptical inner circumferential surface of the opening end of the cylindrical body part. The externally toothed gear, which is provided with such a tapered cylindrical body part, is suitable for manufacturing by die molding such as casting, and can also alleviate excessive uneven contact thereof with a wave bearing.

The mode clutch dog has a first portion that is selectively coupled to a rotation of a first shaft. The first shaft is coupled to receive torque from a first type of motor. The mode clutch dog further has a second portion that is coupled to a rotation of a second shaft. The second shaft is coupled to receive torque from a second different type of motor. The driving member has a first end that is selectively coupled to the mode clutch dog to selectively lock rotation of the driving member with rotation of the mode clutch dog. The driving member further includes at least one gear. The mode clutch shift fork is engaged with the mode clutch dog to selectively manipulate a position of the mode clutch dog.
