Unit-type strain wave gearing device
11566695 · 2023-01-31 · ·

A unit-type strain wave gearing device provided with a cross roller bearing that supports an internally toothed gear and an externally toothed gear in a state in which both gears can rotate relative to each other, and a meshing section of both gears is lubricated with grease. A gap by which the meshing section and the cross roller bearing raceway groove communicate is formed between the inner ring of the cross roller bearing and the external gear. Due to the pump effect caused by deflection of the external gear, grease is pushed from the meshing section to the gap. Some grease is returned to the inner space of the externally toothed gear via a grease-flowing hole that penetrates the diaphragm of the external gear. Thus, leakage of grease from an oil seal of the cross roller bearing to the unit side can be controlled.

Gear device

A gear device includes a first gear, and a second gear meshing with the first gear. At least the first gear is made of a resin. The gear device further includes a connection member connected to an external member, a path member disposed in a path leading to the first gear and the connection member, and other members that are members other than the first gear, the second gear, the connection member, and the path member, and are made of a resin. The first gear, the connection member, and the path member are made of a resin having a higher thermal conductivity than a thermal conductivity of the other members.

Flexible transmission element

A flexible transmission element is disclosed which can be used, in particular in a harmonic drive and which includes a sleeve-shaped, outer toothed section and a flange connected to this section, the outer toothing of the sleeve-shaped section is sheet metal toothing formed in a die.

Compact power steering system

A compact power steering system is suitable for small vehicles. A torque sensor on a steering shaft detects operator intention to turn. In response, a motor provides torque to assistance in rotating the steering shaft. A strain wave gear set multiplies the motor torque. A coupler having a torsional isolator links the gearbox output to the steering shaft.

MAGNETIC POLE PIECE DEVICE AND MAGNETIC GEAR DEVICE

A magnetic pole piece device according to an embodiment is a magnetic pole piece device disposed between an inner diameter side magnet field and an outer diameter side magnet field of a magnetic gear that includes an annular member which includes a plurality of magnetic pole pieces disposed at intervals in a circumferential direction, and a plurality of holding members respectively disposed between the plurality of magnetic pole pieces, and a cover member which is made of a composite material obtained by impregnating continuous fiber extending along the circumferential direction with a matrix resin. The cover member is disposed on at least one of an outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface of the annular member. A relation of ⅙.Math.tc≤t≤½.Math.tc is satisfied, where tc is a gap between the annular member and the magnet field and t is a thickness of the cover member.

A joint shaft structure includes: a base member; an output shaft member supported on one side of the base member so as to be rotatable; and a strain wave gear reducer rotating the shaft member relative to the base member by transmitting rotation of a motor to the shaft member while reducing the speed of the rotation. The reducer includes: a wave generator fixed to a shaft rotated by a driving force from the motor; a flexspline having, at one end, an elastic part which includes a plurality of external teeth and inside which the generator is fitted; and a ring gear disposed on a radially outer side of the flexspline and fixed to the shaft member, and having internal teeth meshing with the external teeth. The flexspline is fixed to the base member at the other end disposed farther on the base member side than the elastic part.
