A modular cabinet assembly has at least a first sub-cabinet and a second sub-cabinet. Each sub-cabinet includes a back board having at least two separate back board pieces that are pivotably connected to each other, a left side board pivotably connected to one of the at least two back board pieces, and a right side board pivotably connected to another of the at least two back board pieces. At least one shelf board having opposite ends is removably connected to the left side board and the right side board of either the first sub-cabinet or the second sub-cabinet. A first end board is connected to either an upper end of the first sub-cabinet or a lower end of the second sub-cabinet. A first connector removably connects the left side boards of the first and second sub-cabinets, and a second connector removably connects the right side boards of the first and second sub-cabinets.

A multi-function furniture includes: pairs of support frames, each of the support frames having a top end and a bottom end; a plurality of retaining pieces pivotally connected to the top ends of the support frames; pairs of parallel side frames, each of the parallel side frames pivotally connected to the retaining pieces; a series of angular frames, each of the angular frames having a distal end and a proximal end, the distal ends and the proximal ends being pivotally connected to the parallel side frames; wherein one of the pair of the support frames is pivotally connected with the other one of the pair the support frame.

A multi-function furniture includes: pairs of support frames, each of the support frames having a top end and a bottom end; a plurality of retaining pieces pivotally connected to the top ends of the support frames; pairs of parallel side frames, each of the parallel side frames pivotally connected to the retaining pieces; a series of angular frames, each of the angular frames having a distal end and a proximal end, the distal ends and the proximal ends being pivotally connected to the parallel side frames; wherein one of the pair of the support frames is pivotally connected with the other one of the pair the support frame.

A luggage rack that includes a frame and a storage compartment, with the frame comprising two legs that have a first end, an upper portion, and a second end; said legs being joint at a first and second pivot point, the pivot point being between the ends and the upper portion; at least one support band attached to the upper portions of both legs; the storage compartment comprising a top, bottom, and two outer walls; and at least one support strap releasably attached to the upper portion of the first leg and the upper portion of the second leg.

A convertible item of furniture including: a plurality of shelf units, wherein each shelf unit has a horizontally extending leave and at least one leave support for supporting the leave; a drive system operably connected to each leave support such that the leaves remain horizontal when the shelf units are moved between a vertical configuration and a horizontal configuration; and, an anti-tip leg system. The anti-tip leg system has a front leg assembly and a rear leg assembly including an upwardly extending pair of rear legs, each rear leg comprising a rear leg upper region operably connected to a shelf unit or a part of the drive system, and a rear leg lower region supporting at least one wheel, and a linkage assembly interconnecting the front and rear leg assemblies. A spacing between the front and rear leg lower regions increases as the shelf units move towards the horizontal configuration.

The method relates to the spacing of two shelves by means of two side walls by exerting a force on one of both shelves and hinging and sliding the side walls to a position in essence perpendicular to both shelves.

The invention is a wheeled folding tray cart and method. The wheeled folding tray cart comprises a collapsible wheeled framework pivotally supporting a set of split shelves, each split shelf comprises a pair of half shelves. The wheeled folding tray cart moves between an open operating position wherein the set of split shelves are held in spaced-apart, stacked, horizontal orientation within the collapsible wheeled framework and a closed storage position wherein the collapsible wheeled framework is collapsed in manner to move each half shelf pair into an accordion-like, inverted “V”-shaped or accordion like configuration. An extension coiled spring attached to the collapsible wheeled framework assists in the movement of the wheeled folding tray cart between open operating position and the closed storage position. A sheath encloses at least a portion of the spring to provide resistance to the spring's movement to limit potential operator exposure to pinch injuries.

A folding hard-wall locker includes a frame, a front door connected to the frame for opening and closing the locker, and accordion-like folding side-walls connected to the frame. Each of the folding side-walls has first and second edges facing away from the frame. For each of the folding side-walls, the length of the first edge plus the length of the second edge is greater than the height of the door (and of the frame). In operation, the locker may be unfolded, assembled, and positioned for use within a shelter. The combined lengths of the first and second edges is greater than any dimension of the locker before the locker is unfolded from its shipping configuration. Among other things, the unfolded, assembled locker is adapted to fit beneath an angled ceiling of a flexible shelter.
