DRIVE UNIT FOR A HYBRID VEHICLE
A drive unit for a hybrid vehicle that enables downsizing and cost reduction of an oil supply mechanism to be achieved. The drive unit includes: a first feeding line for supplying a first motor and a differential mechanism with oil discharged from a first oil pump; and a second feeding line for supplying a second motor with oil discharged from a second oil pump, the oil being supplied via an oil cooler that cools the oil. A passage between from the second oil pump to the second motor in the second feeding line and a passage between from the first oil pump to the first motor and the differential mechanism in the first feeding line, are independent of each other.
Electric vehicle
An electric vehicle includes a driving device including an electric motor and a mechanism transmitting a driving force from the electric motor to a rear wheel axle, which are accommodated in a case, a first oil cooler configured to cool oil in the case, the first oil cooler being disposed behind the rear wheel axle, and a second oil cooler configured to cool the oil in the case, the second oil cooler being disposed behind the rear wheel axle. The driving device is disposed in a rear portion of the vehicle such that the driving device crosses the rear wheel axle. The second oil cooler is disposed at a position misaligned in a vehicle front-rear direction with respect to the first oil cooler.
CONTROL DEVICE UNIT INSTALLATION STRUCTURE FOR TRANSMISSION
Provided is a control device unit installation structure for a transmission in which wear of a terminal of a control device unit electrically connected to a lumped coupler is suppressed when the control device unit is fixed to a cover constituting a part of an outer wall of a transmission. In the control device unit installation structure for a transmission (1) in which a control device unit (60) of the transmission (1) of a vehicle is directly mounted on an outer wall of the transmission (1) and a harness connected to a functional part inside the transmission (1) is electrically connected to the control device unit (60), the control device unit (60) is installed on one cover (12) forming a part of the outer wall, and the harness is coupled to the controller device unit (60) on the one cover (12) via a lumped coupler installed in the transmission (1).
HYDRAULIC CONTROL DEVICE
In a hydraulic control device, a first valve device is brought into an open state when a first value obtained by subtracting a value of a pressure in the first output side oil passage from a value of a pressure in the second output side oil passage is equal to or larger than a first threshold value. A second valve device is brought into an open state when an oil pressure in a third connection oil passage is equal to or larger than a second threshold value, and is brought into a closed state when the oil pressure in the third connection oil passage is smaller than the second threshold value. The first value is equal to or larger than the first threshold value and the first valve device is in the open state when the second valve device is in the closed state.
INTEGRATION OF A PUMP ON A PINION SHANK
A device lubricates elements of an accessory drive system of an aircraft. The device includes a pinion having a pinion shank that is hollow and that has an axis of rotation, a shaft arranged inside the pinion shank and extending along the axis of rotation, a space between the shaft and the pinion shank allowing displacement of oil, an oil reservoir arranged facing the space, at a first end of the pinion shank, and an oil outlet duct arranged facing the space, at a second end of the pinion shank. The pinion shank and the shaft together form a pump and cooperate to drive the oil from the reservoir toward the oil outlet duct thanks to the rotation of the pinion shank around the shaft.
FLOW PATH STRUCTURE OF POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE
Provided is a flow path structure of a power transmission device which is capable of removing gas from a lubricating fluid guided to a fluid reservoir while suppressing an increase in a size of the entire power transmission device. A gasket (63) has an extending portion which extends toward an inside of a transmission case (31). A flow path (70) which extends from an upper portion to a lower portion and guides lubricating oil discharged from a discharge mechanism (64) to an oil reservoir is formed inside the transmission case (31) using the extending portion. The discharge mechanism (64) discharges the lubricating oil toward an inner surface of the flow path (70).
Axle assembly having a ballast insert assembly and a method of control
An axle assembly having a ballast insert assembly and a method of control. The ballast insert assembly may have an inflatable bladder that may be disposed in a cavity. The volume of lubricant in the cavity may be greater when the inflatable bladder is deflated than when the inflatable bladder is inflated.
SOUND DAMPENING COATING FOR A TRANSMISSION HOUSING AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A SOUND DAMPENING COATING ON A TRANSMISSION HOUSING
A method for applying a sound dampening coating on a surface of a vehicle transmission housing includes providing the transmission housing, and applying a sound dampening material directly on a surface of the transmission housing.
POWER SYSTEM
A power system includes: a rotating body; a housing that accommodates the rotating body; and a storage portion that is provided in a bottom of the housing to store a liquid medium. The rotating body is partially located in the storage portion, and an inner surface of the housing includes a protrusion that extends above the rotating body to intersect with a rotation direction of the rotating body.
Ram air turbine strut with integral gearbox and drive sections
A ram air turbine is provided that utilizes a one-piece strut. The strut includes an integral gearbox section and an integral drive section. Within the strut, a turbine shaft and a bevel gear engages a driveshaft and a pinion gear, which transfers rotation from the turbine to a generator. The strut may be machined from a single piece of metal, such as aluminum.
