A revolving shelf system including first and second side plates configured to be mounted on opposite side walls of a cabinet, a drive track configured to extend from an inner front face to an outer back face of each of the first and second side plates, at least one shelf member having first and second ends connected to the drive track, and a drive mechanism located on the outer back face of at least one of the first and second side plates, the drive mechanism configured to move with a rotation motion the at least one shelf member about the drive track.

A shelving system including a cabinet including a product receiving zone. The product receiving zone includes a first end, a second end, a first side and a second side. A shelf member is arranged between the first side and the second side. The shelf member includes a first side portion and a second side portion. One of the first side portion and the second side portion includes a first shelf support and a second shelf support. A bi-directional slide and tilt system is mounted to one of first side and the second side of the product receiving zone. The bi-directional slide and tilt system includes a first portion receptive of the first shelf support and a second portion receptive of the second shelf support. One or more inventive aspects of the techniques and systems described herein include the efficient integration and configuration of drawer slides (e.g., for in/out shelf motion), as well as the efficient integration and configuration of a belt and reel system (e.g., for up/down shelf motion).

The techniques and systems (e.g., elevator shelf systems) for efficient shelving and item storage are described. A shelving unit includes a shelf configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position. At least one arm extends from the shelf and is moveably coupled to a track or dual hinges and configured to move along the track to move the shelf between the retracted position and the extended position.

A drive apparatus fits into a storage cabinet with a storage unit with shelves and is suited for mounting on a wall above a worktop. A push/pull mechanism pushes the storage unit outwardly from the housing, and a separate vertical drive mechanism then lowers the storage unit to a level beneath the housing, where it is accessible. Because the storage unit is initially pushed outwardly to a to extended position, when it is lowered it does not impact on items directly underneath the cabinet. Hence the cabinet may be fitted in a conventional arrangement. A door drive mechanism allows automated opening and closing of the doors, but if they are opened manually the drive mechanism remains disengaged. Upon automated door closure the door mechanism disengages when nearly closed due to the mutual physical arrangement of the mechanism components, thereby allowing the door's own soft hinge to complete the door closure, thereby avoiding pinch points and allowing the next door opening to be either manual or automated.

A revolving shelf system including side plates to be mounted on opposite side walls of a cabinet, a drive track on a face of each of the side plates, a plurality of guide tracks on the faces of the side plates, a plurality of shelves, a drive pin arranged on each end of the shelves, and configured to extend respectively into each of the drive tracks, a plurality of guide pins arranged on each end of the shelves, and configured to extend respectively into corresponding ones of the guide tracks, a drive chain arranged in each of the side plates to respectively drive the drive pins, and a motor to transmit driving power to the drive chains, wherein the shelves move with a rotation of the drive chains, and the drive and guide pins remain extended into the respective drive and guide pin tracks at any position of the shelves.

A cabinet system arranged to allow access to floor space underneath, the system including two side walls having front and rear edges, at least one door arranged proximate the front edges of the side walls and configured to be openable to access an area between the side walls; and a bottom panel arranged between the two side walls and configured such that at least a portion of the bottom panel is selectively movable to at least partially expose a floor space extending back from the front edges of the side walls.
