GAS-FILLED CONTAINER FILLED WITH FLUORINATED HYDROCARBON COMPOUND, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GAS-FILLED CONTAINER, AND METHOD FOR STORING FLUORINATED HYDROCARBON COMPOUND
The present invention is a gas filling container filled with a fluorinated hydrocarbon compound which is obtained by filling the fluorinated hydrocarbon compound represented by the formula: C.sub.4H.sub.9F or C.sub.5H.sub.11F within the gas filling container, a method for manufacturing a gas filling container, and a method for storing a fluorinated hydrocarbon compound. The fluorinated hydrocarbon compound in the gas filling container filled with a fluorinated hydrocarbon compound is kept from decomposing, and accordingly the purity of the filled fluorinated hydrocarbon compound does not decrease easily.
Pressure vessel with dome supported diaphragm
A non-metallic pressure vessel is disclosed that includes a bottom dome having an upper wall defining an interface channel, a top dome having a lower wall defining a downwardly projecting securement flange dimensioned and aligned for vertical engagement within the interface channel of the bottom dome, and a flexible diaphragm retained within the interface channel of the bottom dome by the downwardly projecting flange of the upper dome.

BI-DIRECTIONAL SEALING SYSTEM FOR THE OUTLET OF A PLASTIC-LINED COMPRESSED GAS CYLINDER
A sealing system for an outlet of a polymer-lined compressed gas cylinder has a polymer liner outlet extending into a bore of a boss. An insert is engaged with the bore and a secondary angled seal, forming two primary seals between the insert and portion of the liner outlet. The first seal is an O-ring in the radial direction. The second seal is an angled seal, or beveled conical seal, of the polymer being compressed between the metal components of polar boss and the insert. The use of seal in two different directions compresses the polymer liner in two directions to prevent any possibility of gas leakage and/or seal extrusion under pressure. The angled seal surface prevents any reverse extrusion of the primary seal that might happen during cold temperatures or during repeated pressure cycles in long term service.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING TANK WITH PROTECTIVE MEMBER
Provided are a method for producing a tank with an outer surface profile that allows an elastic protective member to be easily and firmly attached to a surface thereof, and also such a tank with a protective member. The method for producing the tank, which includes winding fiber bundles containing an uncured resin component in multiple layers around the outer surface of a liner in a first pitch width so as to form a fiber reinforced resin layer and securely bonding the protective member to a portion of the outer surface thereof, further includes: winding the fiber bundles in a second pitch width wider than the first pitch width so as to form a gap with a required width where no fiber bundle is present between adjacent fiber bundles in winding the fiber bundles to form an outermost fiber bundle layer; shaving off a tip end portion of a projection made of a resin that has cured after bleeding into the gap, with a portion thereof left unshaved so as to form a sharpened portion; and securely bonding the protective member to the sharpened portion while pressing it from above.

HIGH PRESSURE TANK
A high pressure tank includes a resin liner, a cap, a seal member, and a collar. The liner contains fluid. The cap has a supply/discharge hole for supplying/discharging the fluid to/from the liner. The collar has a passage hole connected to the supply/discharge hole. A tubular portion of the liner is inserted into the supply/discharge hole, and held between an outer circumferential surface of the collar and an inner circumferential surface of the supply/discharge hole. The seal member is provided in a seal groove formed in the inner circumferential surface of the supply/discharge hole. A fluid inlet channel is formed at least in one of the cap and the collar, for guiding the fluid from a protruding end of the tubular portion into the seal groove through space between the inner circumferential surface of the supply/discharge hole and the outer circumferential surface of the tubular portion.
