WELLHEAD SEALING DEVICE OF SUCKER-ROD PUMPING MACHINE
A polished rod sealing device for an oil pumping machine includes a built-in stuffing box. The built-in stuffing box is arranged inside oil pipe enlargement press cap and can seal the polished rod of the oil pumping machine. The sealing device maintains dynamic coaxiality between the polished rod and the stuffing box, and reduces eccentric wear of the sealing packing resulted from the polished rod. The sealing device also provides lubrication between the polished rod and the sealing packing.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR PUMP SEALING DURING LEAKAGE EVENTS
A pump leakage mitigation device includes one or more clamp arms on an outer surface of a pump that can be driven by a biasing element to seat against a shaft of the pump to seal or reduce fluid flow through a breakdown of the pump. The biasing element engages only at threshold temperatures, such as those associated with breakdown orifice failure when additional sealing may be necessary. Clamp arms of any number and shape can be used to achieve the desired seal and based on the pump geometry. A sealant surface and/or keeping mechanism are useable with the leakage mitigation device to enhance fluid flow blockage throughout a pump failure transient scenario. Pump leakage mitigation devices are installed on an outside of a variety of different pump types and can thus be installed, actuated, manipulated, disengaged, and/or removed without having to destroy or disassemble the pump.
BEARING WITH AN ECCENTRIC SEAL GROOVE
A pump bearing for use in a gear pump including a top face, a side face perimetrically surrounding the top face, a bottom face opposed to the top face, a first bearing bore projecting from the top face to the bottom face defining an axis and configured to contain a drive-side shaft, and a groove within the side face located between the top face and the bottom face a variable depth in a direction perpendicular to the axis configured to a receive seal.
Conduit connection assembly with pressure relief
A conduit connection assembly includes a first conduit component having a first mating structure and a second conduit component having a second mating structure adapted to be mated with the first mating structure. A sealing arrangement is provided for sealing between the mating structures. The sealing arrangement includes at least two spaced sealing members defining an intermediate space and the assembly includes a pressure relief opening arranged in communication with the intermediate space between the two spaced sealing members.
FLUID LEVEL GAUGE OR RESERVOIR WITH BUILT-IN LIGHT SOURCE
An improved fluid level verification apparatus with an integral, internal source of illumination that is powered by an integral, internal energy source and is activated by a motion sensor or any other sensor commonly known In the art to detect the presence of a person in dark or dimly lit environments. The preferred light source is a light emitting diode (LED). A second embodiment of the integral, internal source of illumination that is powered by an integral, internal energy source and is activated by a motion sensor or any other sensor commonly known in the art to detect the presence of a person in dark or dimly lit environments is applied to a fluid reservoir tank.
SEAL ASSEMBLY DEVICE AND SEAL ASSEMBLY METHOD
A seal assembly device is configured to attach an annular seal by press-fitting to an axial end portion of a first raceway member of a wheel bearing device. The seal assembly device includes: a columnar guide member including a contact surface configured to contact a plurality of rolling elements provided along a raceway surface formed on the first raceway member from a side opposite to the raceway surface, the contact surface being continuous in a circumferential direction; a pressing member configured to move in an axial direction along the guide member toward the axial end portion so as to press the seal in the axial direction and to press-fit the seal into the axial end portion; and a reference member configured to restrict a movement stroke of the pressing member with respect to the guide member in the axial direction.
Pump bearing retainer
A pump bearing retainer (1), for a wet-running pump, includes a radially inner section (3) including an inner section surface (9) for a press-fit contact with an essentially cylinder-shaped radial outer surface (29) of a pump bearing (13). A radially outer section (7) includes an annular or essentially conical-shaped outer section surface (17) with a cone angle (.sub.1) equal to or larger than 45. An intermediate section (5) extends from the inner section (3) to the outer section (7). The intermediate section (5) includes an essentially conical-shaped intermediate section surface (15) with a cone angle (.sub.2) smaller than 45. A longitudinal cross-section area (A) of the inner section (3) is smaller than a longitudinal cross-section area (B) of the intermediate section (5).
Turbomachine with a balance drum and sleeve arrangement and method
The turbomachine comprises a stationary casing with a rotating member configured to rotate about a rotation axis in the stationary casing. The turbomachine further includes a rotating balance drum, arranged for co-rotation with the rotating member. A stationary sleeve is arranged in a fixed relationship with the stationary casing and surrounds the balance drum. The stationary sleeve comprises a plurality of consecutively arranged sleeve sections. A fluid channel is defined by an outer surface of the balance drum and an inner surface of the stationary sleeve. Between at least one pair of sequentially arranged upstream sleeve section and downstream sleeve section an annular chamber is provided, fluidly coupled to the fluid channel. Shunt holes are arranged on the upstream sleeve section, each shunt hole having a shunt hole inlet on an inner surface of the upstream sleeve section, and a shunt hole outlet in the annular chamber.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY ENERGIZING PACKING MATERIAL WITH A PACKING LOADING ASSEMBLY
A pressure regulating system for use with a mechanical seal and stationary equipment for applying a substantially uniform force or load to a stacked set of packing elements. The force applied to the packing elements can be regulated or controlled in real time and in a remote manner. The mechanical seal includes an axially movable follower element that can be energized by pressurized fluid to move between a pre-loaded position where the follower element does not apply an axial load to the packing elements to a loaded position where the follower element applies the axial load to the packing elements.
Annular Sealing Assembly
An annular seal assembly for use in a fluid mover, such as a compressor, having a tangentially-cut ring assembly and a radially-cut ring assembly, each ring assembly having arcuate segments, where each arcuate segment of the tangentially-cut ring assembly has a plurality of passages extending from the outer peripheral face to within at least 1.0 mm of the inner peripheral face, wherein after wearing in of the seal, the passages extend through the tangentially-cut ring assembly for pressure balancing.
