A system for regulating fluid flow having a processor configured to reduce image noise is provided. The system includes an image sensor to capture an image of the drip chamber. The processor captures the image of the drip chamber using the image sensor, performs an edge detection on the image to generate a first processed image, and performs an AND-operation on a pixel on a first side of an axis of the first processed image with a corresponding mirror pixel on a second side of the axis of the first processed image to generate a second processed image.

A sealing valve plug structure includes a valve plug column corresponding to the drain opening formed in the side wall of an inner drum, and a counterweight hinged to the upper end of the valve plug column. The sealing valve installation structure is installed on the side wall of the drum, and the reset spring is clamped between the sealing valve installation structure and the valve plug column. The counterweight is used to generate an action, under the action of centrifugal force, to open the drain opening, and the valve plug column is reset by the reset spring to make the valve plug block the drain opening, to thereby open and close the drain opening. A cleaning-free washing machine having an inner drum sealed by the sealing valve plug structure is also disclosed.

The controller interface receives a control signal used to adjust valve stroke of the valve. The control signal of the valve is determined based on the at least one measured parametric value and at least one other parametric value provided by a fluid processing system.

A disclosed unibody bypass plunger has a unitary one-piece hollow body, a valve cage, a clutch system, crimple fastening structures, and a valve. The clutch system is provided in a bottom end of the plunger and is configured to limit a position of the valve. A top end includes an external fish neck with ports or slots. The plunger further includes an integral shift rod that extends out of the top end in a closed configuration and extends out of the bottom end in an open configuration, eliminating a need for a separator rod in a lubricator cap to open and close the valve. Ports or slots may be pluggable with one or more plugs. As such, a fall speed of the plunger may be adjusted based on a number of plugs that are installed, with the greatest fall speed being obtained with all ports or slots unplugged.

An apparatus, system and method for regulating fluid flow are disclosed. The apparatus includes a flow rate sensor and a valve. The flow rate sensor uses images to estimate flow through a drip chamber and then controls the valve based on the estimated flow rate. The valve comprises a rigid housing disposed around the tube in which fluid flow is being controlled. Increasing the pressure in the housing controls the size of the lumen within the tube by deforming the tube, therefore controlling flow through the tube.

A manual reset actuator is disclosed, which includes a main drain, a diaphragm release aperture fluidly coupled to a flow control valve, an upper chamber, a control port, a control orifice, an upper chamber supply orifice, and a sealing assembly, which includes a button, and a plunger. A pressure in the upper chamber exerts a downward force on the plunger. A spring exerts an upward force on the plunger. The fluid in the upper chamber is released via the control orifice, which lowers the pressure in the upper chamber, decreasing the downward force exerted on the plunger. When the downward force is less than the upward force, the spring forces the plunger upwards into an open configuration, which unseals the diaphragm release aperture. When the upward force is less than the downward force, the plunger remains in a closed configuration, which keeps the diaphragm release aperture sealed.
