Ball valve
Disclosed herein is a bellow for use in a ball valve, the bellow comprising: a metallic seat at an end of the bellow for providing a contact surface with a ball of a ball valve; and a metallic body integral with the seat; wherein the metallic body has a longitudinally elastic property such that, when the bellow is in use in a ball valve and the bellow is arranged within the housing of the ball valve so that it is always under longitudinal compression, substantially only the compression in the bellow causes the seat to apply a sealing force against the ball of the ball valve that maintains a mechanical seal between the seat and the ball valve. Advantageously, embodiments allow a new design of ball valve that maintains a high standard of performance in subsea environments over long time periods.
VALVE FOR PURGING A UTILITIES PIPE
A valve including two component parts, with a first part being rotationally mounted to the second part, wherein a through passage is provided in each part and the passages are in fluid communication when the parts are rotated into an open position, to allow flow 5 through the valve, wherein each part has a threaded socket and a threaded male connector, and wherein the passage extends axially, through the male connector and opens into the socket.
VALVE APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
Disclosed herein is a valve apparatus for vehicles that is configured such that the sealability of a valve body can be markedly enhanced. The valve apparatus includes a valve body, a valve member and a sealing unit. The valve body is provided with at least two ports and has an internal space communicating with the ports. The valve member is rotatably installed in the internal space so as to open or close the ports. The sealing unit is provided to seal at least one of the ports. The sealing unit includes a sealing body airtightly installed on an inner surface of the corresponding port, and at least one elastic element integrally provided on a first end of the sealing body. The elastic element axially applies elastic force to the sealing body so that a second end of the sealing body comes into airtight contact with the valve member.
Valve manifold
A valve manifold has a housing with a central mixing chamber and a shell surface. The shell surface of the valve manifold has at least two valve ports, with each valve port being associated with one valve. A first valve port has three openings, and additional valve ports each having three openings. A respective first opening of the valve ports is in direct fluid communication with the central mixing chamber, and the second and third openings of the valve ports are each in fluid communication with an inflow or outflow via a duct. A bottom of the mixing chamber, in relation to a plane arranged perpendicularly to a vertical longitudinal axis of the housing, has a slope towards the first opening of the first.
Ball valve
The disclosed embodiments include ball valves having integrated seats. The integrated seats are included in a ball body assembly of a valve body. The ball body assembly may rotate with respect to the valve body to open or close the valve. The integrated seats may contact walls of a bore to sealingly close the valve.
