Self-acting pressure drain valve
A self-acting pressure activated drain valve includes at least one inlet configured to receive a fluid. A drainage passage delivers the fluid to at least one outlet where the fluid is expelled. The self-acting pressure activated drain valve further includes a flexible diaphragm configured to operate in an open position and a closed position based on a pressure. The flexible diaphragm is normally biased in the open position such that fluid is delivered from the at least one inlet to the at least one outlet via the drainage passage. The pressure, however, initiates the closed position such that air is prevented from flowing through the drainage passage.

Encapsulated valve system and method of use
An encapsulated valve system includes a first housing portion having a first facing surface, the first facing surface comprising a plurality of branch pathways formed as a recess within the first facing surface. The valve system further includes a second housing portion having a second facing surface, the second facing surface comprising a plurality of branch pathways formed as a recess within the second facing surface. A disposable conduit is configured to be interposed between the first and second housing portions and disposed within the recess of the first facing surface and the recess of the second facing surface. The disposable conduit is thus sandwiched between the first and second facing surfaces. A plurality of pinch valve actuators are mounted on one or both of the first housing portion and the second housing portion, the plurality of pinch valve actuators configured to pinch the disposable conduit at selective branch pathways.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MINIMIZING HEAT LOSS IN A HEAT RECOVERY STEAM GENERATOR
A damper assembly for minimizing heat loss through an exhaust stack includes a housing mountable within the stack and an umbrella received within the housing. The umbrella is selectively movable between a first position in which the umbrella is received within the housing, and second position in which the umbrella is extended from the housing such that a peripheral edge of the umbrella is in close association with an interior sidewall of the exhaust stack to minimize a flow of fluid past the umbrella and out of the stack.
ONE-WAY VALVE FOR REFILLING AN AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE
An aerosol delivery device having a check valve therein for use with refilling the aerosol delivery device is provided. The aerosol delivery device may comprise at least one housing defining a refillable reservoir for storing an aerosol precursor composition, and a heating element contained within the at least one housing and configured to activate and vaporize components of the aerosol precursor composition. A connector may be coupled to the at least one housing and sealably connectable with a container of aerosol precursor composition for refilling the reservoir. The connector may include a check valve configured to enable only a one-way flow of aerosol precursor composition from the container into the reservoir when the connector is sealably connected with the container.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING A DIAPHRAGM BY THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTING
Systems, apparatus, and methods are directed toward manufacturing a diaphragm using three-dimensional printing techniques.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING AUTOMATED CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATION
Systems, methods and devices are provided for the automated centrifugal processing of samples. In some embodiments, an integrated fluidic processing cartridge is provided, in which a centrifugation chamber is fluidically interfaced, through a lateral surface thereof, with a microfluidic device, and wherein the integrated fluidic processing cartridge is configured to be inserted into a centrifuge for centrifugation. A cartridge interfacing assembly may be employed to interface with the integrated fluidic processing cartridge for performing various fluidic processing steps, such as controlling the flow of fluids into and out of the centrifugation chamber, and controlling the flow of fluids into the microfluidic device, and optionally for the further fluidic processing of fluids extracted to the microfluidic device. The integrated fluidic processing cartridge may include a supernatant chamber the extraction of a supernatant thereto, and a diluent chamber for diluting a suspension collected in the centrifugation chamber.
Brake Cylinder Pressure Maintenance Valves for Freight Car Brake Equipment
Valves for maintaining brake cylinder pressure in freight car brake equipment are provided. A valve includes a first diaphragm defining a first side and a second side, and a second diaphragm defining a first side and a second side. The valve further includes a first port for receiving pressure from one of an emergency reservoir or a control volume, the first port in fluid communication with the first side of the first diaphragm; a second port for receiving pressure from a brake pipe, the second port in fluid communication with the second side of the first diaphragm; and a third port for receiving pressure from a brake cylinder, the third port in fluid communication with the second side of the second diaphragm.
