MIXING VALVE SUBASSEMBLY AND WATER HEATER INCLUDING SAME
A mixing valve assembly is disclosed. The mixing valve assembly can include a cold water connector, a hot water connector, an electronic valve system, and a tube. The cold water connector can have a through-hole configured to slideably receive at least a portion of a first tubular portion of a cold water inlet, and the hot water connector can have a through-hole configured to slideably receive at least a portion of a second tubular portion of a hot water outlet. The electronic valve system can be configured to transition a valve between an open configuration and a closed configuration such that cold water can be selectively permitted to flow from the cold water connector to the hot water connector. The mixing valve assembly can be configured to selectively permit cold water to bypass the tank of water heater.
Switching technology for faucets
A set of universal switching modules is provided for mechanical touch faucets. The switching modules afford the same operational benefits and features as an electronic faucet without the necessity of resort to an electrical power supply, eliminating the need for electronic control circuitry, and simplifying installation while increasing long term operational reliability. The switching modules are activated by a linear depressing or a rocking motion that contrasts with rotary motions associated with rotating a valve stem. The switching module designs are agnostic to the faucet design meaning that the switching modules are universal in that the modules fit any faucet design. The switching modules work with a variety of activation methods used in faucet design illustratively including rocker switch concepts, push concepts, and a horizontal/perpendicular push concepts. Faucet manufacturers purchase a module based on the type of activation that they prefer for seamless integration in their faucet design.
Faucet pipe fitting assembly, faucet connecting structure and faucet
A faucet pipe fitting assembly, a faucet connecting structure and a faucet are disclosed. A faucet pipe fitting assembly includes a pipe joint unit and at least two pipes. The pipe joint unit has joint portions corresponding in number to the pipes. The pipes are integrally formed with the pipe joint unit. The pipes communicate with the joint portions of the pipe joint unit, respectively. The faucet pipe fitting assembly has the advantages of stable connection and convenient connection with a valve seat.
TWO-HANDLE AUTOMATIC FAUCET
A two-handle automatic faucet includes a faucet body, a solenoid valve core, a controller, and a sensor. The solenoid valve core, the controller and the sensor are mounted to the faucet body. The controller is electrically connected to the solenoid valve core and the sensor. The controller controls action of the solenoid valve core according to a sensor signal of the sensor, so as to correspondingly control water flow of the two-handle automatic faucet. The controller and the solenoid valve core are installed to the faucet body, thus, it is convenient for a user to install the finished product of the two-handle automatic faucet.
HYBRID SENSOR METHOD
A method of determining a presence, concentration or change in concentration of a first or second material in an environment is disclosed. The method comprises measuring a response of a first sensor to the first and second material, wherein the first sensor is one of a metal oxide sensor, an electrochemical sensor, a photoionisation sensor, an infrared sensor, a pellistor sensor, an optical particle monitor, a quartz crystal microbalance sensor, a surface acoustic wave sensor, a cavity ring-down spectroscopy sensor, or a biosensor. The method further comprises measuring a response of a second sensor to the first and second material, wherein the second sensor is another one of a metal oxide sensor, an electrochemical sensor, a photoionisation sensor, an infrared sensor, a pellistor sensor, an optical particle monitor, a quartz crystal microbalance sensor, a surface acoustic wave sensor, a cavity ring-down spectroscopy sensor, a biosensor or a field effect transistor sensor. The method further comprises determining from first and second sensor measurements, a presence, concentration or change in concentration of the first or second material.
Systems and methods for gas treatment
A system and process for the recovery of at least one halogenated hydrocarbon from a gas stream. The recovery includes adsorption by exposing the gas stream to an adsorbent with a lattice structure having pore diameters with an average pore opening of between about 5 and about 50 angstroms. The adsorbent is then regenerated by exposing the adsorbent to a purge gas under conditions which efficiently desorb the at least one adsorbed halogenated hydrocarbon from the adsorbent. The at least one halogenated hydrocarbon (and impurities or reaction products) can be condensed from the purge gas and subjected to fractional distillation to provide a recovered halogenated hydrocarbon.

PROXIMITY FAUCET POWER SOURCE DETECTION
A fluid dispensing device and method for controlling the device are provided. The device includes a housing defining a fluid outlet. A valve controls the flow of fluid to the outlet. A sensor is configured to detect an object outside of and proximate to the housing. A solenoid is configured to move the valve between an open position and a closed position. A controller is configured to receive the output signal of the sensor, determine a characteristic of noise in the output signal such as a level of noise, adjust at least one of a sampling rate of the output signal and an amount of filtering of the output signal responsive to the characteristic of noise in the output signal, and transmit a control signal to the solenoid responsive to the output signal.
SANITARY FAUCET HAVING A NON-AXIAL THERMOSTATIC MIXING VALVE AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING A SANITARY FAUCET
