PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE WITH DEFLECTING DISKS FOR INFLATABLE
A pressure relief valve may comprise a housing, a disk, and a seal. The disk may be configured to deflect relative to the housing. The seal may form a sealing interface with at least one of the housing or disk. The pressure relief valve may be coupled to an inflatable slide or an aspirator.
Temperature sensitive valve
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for interrupting fluid flow when experiencing fuel leaking conditions, such as an out of specification connection between the fuel source and a device utilizing the fluid. A distal end of a valve body has interfaces with at least a portion of a connection to a fluid supply; and a proximal end interfaces with at least a portion of a fuel intake. An internal passage runs between the proximal end and distal ends of. A displacement member in the internal passage comprises a distal portion that extends out of the valve to engage a valve to the fuel supply. A retention cap selectably engaged with the valve body can comprise a material that deforms under force at a predetermined temperature, resulting in a release of the displacement member under a biasing force form a biasing component between the cap and displacement member.
Systems for monitoring volatile fuel system components
A fuel system is provided that includes a fuel tank, a heat detector, and a control circuit. The digital heat detector is disposed in proximity to the fuel tank. The control circuit is coupled with the digital heat detector and is configured to detect that a thermal event has occurred. The fuel system is configured to implement an emergency countermeasure in response to the detection of the thermal event.
Gas safety valve and gas supply line
A gas safety valve for controlling a gas flow includes a valve body providing a body inlet port for coupling to a first gas supply and a body outlet port for coupling to an appliance, the valve body extending along a longitudinal axis between the body inlet port and the body outlet port, the valve body further providing an inlet bore extending downstream from the body inlet port, and an outlet bore extending to the body outlet port. A valve has a valve chamber having a valve inlet and a valve outlet, a ball located within the valve chamber and a valve seat provided at the valve outlet such that the ball is retained in the valve chamber upstream of the valve seat. The valve body includes an internal junction positioned upstream of the valve inlet, and a side inlet port.
SHUTTLE VALVE FOR A SAFETY VALVE ARRANGEMENT AND SAFETY VALVE ARRANGEMENT
A shuttle valve for a safety valve arrangement is provided with a valve housing (2), which includes a fluid inlet (4) and two fluid outlets (6, 8). A movable shut-off body (12) is arranged in the valve housing (2) and can be moved between two closure positions, in which the movable shut-off body (12) closes one of the fluid outlets (6, 8). The shut-off body (12) is arranged in a pivotably about a pivot axis (D). The shuttle valve includes a linear drive (46) which is coupled to the shut-off body (12) in a manner such that the shut-off body (12) is pivotable between its two closure positions by moving the linear drive (46).
Emergency stop valve
The invention relates to shut-off valve for controlling flow of a pressurised gas. The shut-off valve comprising a body defining a passage extending between a gas inlet channel and a gas outlet channel, a sealing element, and an emergency stop mechanism. The sealing element arranged to, in a first position, close the passage, and in a second position, open the passage to allow gas to flow between the gas inlet channel and the gas outlet channel through the passage. The invention also relates to a method for controlling flow of a pressurised gas with a shut-off valve and a method for activating an emergency stop of a shut-off valve.

Temperature controlled purge valve with washer/O-ring seal stack
In a valve having a body with a sealed working fluid chamber, a bore and a valved fluid chamber, the valved fluid chamber having an inlet and outlet and a seat between the inlet and the outlet, a piston for extending through the bore from the working fluid chamber to the valved fluid chamber, a spring for biasing the piston away from the seat and a working fluid for receipt in the working fluid chamber. Applicant provides an improvement comprising a seal stack assembly for entrainment, under compression, upon the piston and in the piston chamber between a working fluid chamber end wall and a first end of the piston, wherein the first end of the piston is located in the working fluid chamber and a second end in the valved fluid chamber.
RELIEF VALVE
A relief valve includes a housing including an internal flow passage through which a working fluid flows, and a relief port discharging the working fluid from the internal flow passage, and a valve body including a first pressure-receiving portion a second pressure-receiving portion receiving pressure with a pressure-receiving area that is larger than a pressure-receiving area of the first pressure-receiving portion, and a first recessed portion formed at the second pressure-receiving portion at an opposite side relative to a pressure-receiving surface of the second pressure-receiving portion and including a closed-end cylindrical shape. The relief valve includes a biasing force adjustment mechanism including a spring of which one end is held at the first recessed portion, a support portion retaining the other end of the spring and including a closed-end cylindrical shape, and a motor adjusting a rotational angle and causing the support portion to reciprocate.
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE APPARATUS AND AN ELECTRONIC SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
Provided are methods and systems for controlling a pressure relief valve. An electronic control unit monitors pressure being supplied from a source. If the control unit determines that the monitored pressure is above a threshold pressure, the control unit controls an actuator to move the pressure relief valve to an open position, thereby releasing the pressure from within the system. If the control unit determines that the monitored pressure is at or below the threshold value, the control unit controls the actuator to move the pressure relief valve to a closed position.
