SHOWER DIVERTER
The present invention provides a shower diverter for selectively connecting a single water source between at least two outlets. The shower diverter comprises a housing having an internal chamber, a water inlet port in fluid communication with the internal chamber and coupled to a water supply port, a first outlet port in fluid communication with the internal chamber; and a second outlet port in fluid communication with the internal chamber. The valve assembly is selectively actuated by a push button to move the valve assembly within the chamber between one of four positions.
Water distribution system for a beverage dispenser
The present application provides a water distribution system with a flow of water therethrough. The water distribution system may include one or more water lines, a number of flow control passages in communication with the one or more water lines, a number of flow controllers with a number of preset flow rates positioned about the flow control passages, and a number of flow control valves positioned about the flow control passages such that opening one of the flow control valves allows the flow of water to flow through one of the flow control passages with the preset flow rate.
ADDITIVELY MANUFACTURED GAS DISTRIBUTION MANIFOLD
Methods and apparatuses for additively manufactured tubular passages, additively manufactured manifolds, and additively manufactured heaters are provided.
Heat pump water heater appliance and an electronic mixing valve
A heat pump water heater appliance includes an electronic mixing valve. The electronic mixing valve is positioned within a casing of the heat pump water heater appliance. A mixed water conduit and a heated water conduit of the electronic mixing valve may be positioned coaxially with each other, and a cold water conduit of the electronic mixing valve may be oriented such that the cold water conduit extends orthogonal to the heated water conduit and the mixed water conduit. A plunger is positioned within the valve body at the mixing chamber of the valve body. A motor is coupled to the plunger, the motor being operable to adjust a position of a head of the plunger within the valve body.
SPIGOTLESS VARIABLE-TEMPERATURE FLUID (E.G., WATER) VALVE OPENABLE WITH A DISPENSING DEVICE AND WITH OPTIONAL BACK-PRESSURE RELIEF
An embodiment of a fluid valve includes a receptacle, cavity, mixer, and valve assembly. The receptacle has a protrusion configured to engage a groove of a valve-opening-and-fluid-dispensing device, and the cavity has a front end in communication with the receptacle and has a rear end. The mixer has hot and cold input ports and has an output port in communication with the rear end of the cavity. And the valve assembly is disposed in the cavity, configured to allow fluid to flow from the output port through the cavity in response to a valve-opening-and-fluid-dispensing device being disposed in the receptacle, and configured to prohibit fluid from flowing from the output port through the cavity in response to the valve-opening-and-fluid-dispensing device being absent from the receptacle. The valve may include a pressure-relief assembly and/or a unidirectional-valve assembly configured to relieve back pressure during insertion of the valve-opening-and-fluid-dispensing device into the receptacle.
Additively manufactured gas distribution manifold
Methods and apparatuses for additively manufactured tubular passages, additively manufactured manifolds, and additively manufactured heaters are provided.
VARIABLE VENTURI DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE VALVE STEM
A fluid injection device includes a housing and a valve stem. The housing includes an inlet arm having an inlet orifice for receiving a feeder fluid. An outlet arm has an outlet orifice to discharge a mixed fluid. A venturi tube is between the inlet and outlet arms. The inlet arm, veturi tube and outlet arm define a nonlinear fluid pathway where the venturi tube redefines a portion of the nonlinear fluid pathway as a constricted fluid pathway. A diverter port is used to divert a portion of the feeder fluid from the inlet arm into the container and an injection port is used to receive product from the container. A valve arm is collinearly aligned with the venturi tube and the valve stem is positioned within the valve arm and adjusts the volume of the constricted fluid pathway.
MIXING VALVE
A mixing valve that includes a housing having a first outlet, a second outlet, and a mixing chamber; a first flow control valve for controlling flow through the first outlet to the mixing chamber; and a second flow control valve for controlling flow through the second outlet to the mixing chamber; wherein the housing has a length dimension, a width dimension, and a thickness dimension, and the largest of these dimensions is no more than approximately 65 millimeters.
Method of controlling mixing valve
A method including configuring a valve so that an operating force to actuate the valve when in an open position is substantially independent of water flow. The valve includes a first valve member assembly comprising a spool having a connector portion; a first valve member mounted on the spool at a first location and configured to seat against a first valve outlet in a closed position of the valve; and a second valve member mounted on the spool at a second location spaced apart from the first location and configured to seat against a second valve outlet in the closed position of the valve. The method also includes controlling the valve to output a flow of the water having a desired flow rate by moving the spool in a linear direction with a portion of a stepper motor coupled directly to the connector portion of the spool.
Shower head with integrated mixing valve
A plumbing fitting having a body and a housing located in the body that includes a first inlet for receiving the first fluid, a second inlet for receiving the second fluid, and a mixing chamber. The plumbing fitting includes a first flow control valve operatively coupled to the housing; a second flow control valve operatively coupled to the housing; and an actuator assembly configured to move the first flow control valve relative to the housing to control flow of the first fluid from the first inlet to the mixing chamber, such that the first fluid exerts substantially no net force on the first flow control valve, and configured to move the second flow control valve relative to the housing to control flow of the second fluid from the second inlet to the mixing chamber, such that the second fluid exerts substantially no net force on the second flow control valve.
