Storage tank valve
A valve for use in a tank vessel that includes a valve housing configured to fit into a threaded vent opening of the tank vessel and a sleeve weldment coupled to the valve housing. The sleeve weldment includes a first end configured to protrude into an interior volume of the tank vessel, and the first end is thermally balanced with the interior volume of the tank vessel. The valve also includes a valve plunger configured to be installed within the sleeve weldment. The valve plunger includes a valve bottom configured to seal an opening between the valve bottom and an interior opening of the sleeve weldment. The valve also may include a cam configured to force the valve plunger into the interior of the tank vessel to break the seal between the valve bottom and the interior opening of the sleeve weldment.
Electronic vaporiser system
An e-liquid cartridge designed to provide e-liquid for an electronic cigarette vaporizer, the cartridge including two apertures, the first aperture being used to fill the cartridge on a filing line and then being covered with a bung or plug or other form of seal and the second aperture being sealed by a septum or other form of seal that is designed to be penetrated or punctured by a needle or stem that, in use, withdraws e-liquid from the cartridge. The first aperture is sized to enable rapid filling with e-liquid on an automated or semi-automated manufacturing line.

VALVE WITH SEGMENTED SPRING GUIDE ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a method of applying a biasing force against a piston in a valve as the piston moves along a piston stroke axis in a first direction and an opposing second direction, the piston having a first axial end that is a distal end of the piston, the method including: moving the piston along a piston stroke axis in the first direction and the opposing second direction, wherein while moving the piston along the piston stroke axis: applying a first biasing force in the second direction against the first axial end of the piston from a first spring, and applying a second biasing force in the second direction against the first spring from a second spring.
TRANSMISSION PRESSURE CONTROLLED VENT SYSTEM
A transmission having a pressure controlled vent system, including a vent tube configured to engage a transmission such that a first opening of the vent tube is in fluid communication with an upper portion of a transmission cavity, a second end defining a second opening configured to be in fluid communication with an external atmosphere, and a bifurcated portion between the first end and the second end. The bifurcated portion includes a first tube segment and a second tube segment in parallel with the first tube segment. A pressure relief valve disposed in-line within the first tube segment and a vacuum relief valve disposed in-line within the second tube segment. The pressure relief valve cooperates with the vacuum relief valve to maintain a predetermined range of pressure differential between the first opening and the second opening. The vent tube may also include a moisture and/or a transmission fluid separator.
AIR VALVE ASSEMBLY
An air valve assembly includes an inner piece having a support portion, a inner piece plug, a first inner piece opening and a second inner piece opening, an outer piece having a flexible conical section configured to be collapsible from a first position to a second position, a first outer piece plug, a second outer piece plug, and an outer piece opening, the inner and outer pieces being peripherally coupled, wherein when the flexible conical section is in the second position, the inner piece plug is positioned to be received by and obstruct the outer piece opening. The air valve assembly according to the present disclosure can inflate and deflate the two independent chambers at the same time, is easily operated and can prevent air in the chambers from leaking.
Pressure relief valve
A pressure relief valve (10) is provided for controlling fluid flow between a first fluid path (12a) and a second fluid path (12b). The pressure relief valve includes a housing (14), a diaphragm member (24) movably affixed within the housing and having a fluid port (18), a first biasing member (20) for urging the diaphragm member in a first direction, and a sealing member (26) movably mounted in the housing and configured for reversibly sealing the fluid port (18). When a pressure at the second fluid path (12b) exceeds a first predetermined threshold the diaphragm member (24) is pushed against the first biasing member (20), and the sealing member (26) is initially urged towards the fluid port (18) and subsequently becomes disengaged with the fluid port, allowing fluid communication between the second fluid path (12b) and the first fluid path (12a) via the fluid port. When the pressure at the second fluid path (12b) decreases below a second predetermined threshold, the sealing member (26) becomes disengaged from the diaphragm member (24), allowing fluid communication between the first fluid path and the second fluid path via the fluid port. A valve assembly including the pressure release valve (10) and an externally actuated valve (60) is also provided.
VENTILATION FLOW RATE REGULATOR FOR A PRESSURISED TANK OF A VEHICLE
A ventilation flow rate regulator for a pressurised tank of a vehicle. The regulator includes a body including a gas inlet and a gas outlet, and at least one restrictor mounted movably relative to the body. The restrictor is mounted to reduce a cross-section of at least one path of a gas flow proceeding from the inlet to the outlet, when a flow rate at the inlet is greater than a predetermined threshold. The regulator is arranged so that the cross-section remains non-zero irrespective of a flow rate.
