Valve mechanism for controlling a fluid, in particular an abrasive high-viscosity material
10697560 · 2020-06-30 · ·

The invention relates to a valve mechanism (1; 1) for controlling a fluid, comprising a housing (2; 2) that has a fluid duct (3), further comprising a valve body (5) that is mounted on the housing (2) so as to be adjustable between an open position in which the valve body allows the fluid (F) to flow through the fluid duct (3) and a closed position in which the valve body fluid-tightly seals the fluid duct, and comprising a membrane-like sealing element (13) which is secured to the housing (2) at a first end portion (14) and to the valve body (5) at a second end portion. In the open state of the valve body (5), a side of the sealing element (13) that faces away from the fluid duct (3) rests against a wall section (17) between the two end portions (14, 15).

METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING STICKING OF LUBRICATION CONTROL VALVE OF HYBRID VEHICLE

In a hybrid vehicle, a hybrid type lubrication control valve which is a solenoid valve type turned on/off by electricity is used as a lubrication system component for circulating lubricating oil to a transmission and an engine clutch. A method includes measuring, by an engine clutch pressure sensor, first engine clutch engagement pressure in an off-state of the independent type lubrication control valve and second engine clutch engagement pressure in an on-state thereof; and determining, by the TCU, whether or not the independent type lubrication control valve is stuck, on the basis of a pressure difference between the first engine clutch engagement pressure and the second engine clutch engagement pressure. The method can diagnose a stuck state of the hybrid type lubrication control valve using hydraulic pressure for operating engine clutch engagement, before starting the vehicle.

STICKING ELIMINATION METHOD FOR AND STRUCTURE OF THE WATER CONTROL VALVE OF A WATER SPRAYING TIMER
20200147632 · 2020-05-14 ·

A sticking elimination method and structure for the water control valve of a water spraying timer. The methodology includes: open/closed state sensing step: detect the open/closed mode of the water control valve and generate and send a signal to the electronically controlled processing unit; stuck state judging step: the detecting and computing module of the processing unit judges if the state of the component has gone beyond the preset abnormal value; reverse control step: if a stuck state is judged, the valve is driven to reverse; reverse state sensing step: detect if the valve has successfully reversed and returned to the open/closed mode; repeated reverse step: if the stuck state is not eliminated, repeat the reverse till set times; automatic shutdown step: if the reverse times reach the set times and it is judged that the valve is still in the stuck state, shut down the water spraying timer.

Pump/compressor valve seat

Valve assembly for a pump, the valve assembly including: a valve seat having a valve face (60), a flexible valve having a sealing portion for abutting the valve face (60), and at least a fluid pathway (66, 68, 70) from an interior of the valve seat to an exterior of the valve seat that serves as a leak flow path for fluid when the valve is in the closed position to reduce pressure build up on the valve. In this way, the vacuum inside the pump can be released when the value is in the closed position and the pump is stopped, thereby allowing the pump to start/restart due to reduced pressure build up on a side of the valve abutting the valve face. A pump or compressor including such a valve assembly is also disclosed.

The present disclosure provides a rotary valve comprising a valve shaft coupled to a rotary valve element. The valve shaft defines an axis and is rotatable thereabout. The valve further comprises a rotary position sensor and a coupling rotationally coupling the valve shaft and the sensor. A wrenching arm is rotationally coupled to the valve shaft, and extends radially outwardly of the axis for attachment of a wrenching tool thereto. The coupling is axially between the rotary position sensor and the wrenching arm.
