Method and Apparatus for Detecting Water Shortage for Humidifier and Storage Medium

Methods, apparatuses, and storage mediums are provided for detecting water shortage for a humidifier. The method includes: obtaining a water level parameter of a water tank; determining a water level state of the water tank according to the water level parameter. When the water level state of the water tank is a water shortage state, energizing a valve connected to a water box so that water can be added to the water tank through the valve. A number of times of energizing the valve is recorded. When the number of times of energizing the valve exceeds a first preset number of times as well as when the water level state of the water tank determined every time after energization of the valve is the water shortage state, confirming that the water box is short of water.

The overbalancing member is positioned at the hinge end and spaced from the pivot axis such that the overbalancing member is vertically above the piot axis when the valve member is in the open position and horizontally over from the pivot axis when the valve member is in the closed position.

The cover device is movable between a rest position engaging the seat to minimize fluid communication between the aperture and the hole and an actuated position spaced from the seat to increase fluid communication between the aperture and the hole when a vacuum is created in the first cavity portion.

Disclosed is a basement sewer drain pump housing that draws fluid from a drain into a housing, the fluid is discharged from the housing and out of the basement. The device comprises a pickup tube having a fluid level sensor, which is placed within a sewer main drain or floor drain. The housing comprises an enclosed volume, a suction tube connected to the pickup tube, a suction pump, and a discharge pump. The pump is activated by a switch controlled by the pickup tube fluid sensor, the fluid is drawn into the housing from the drain and discharged through a discharge pipe. The device operates from outlet or battery and serves as a basement drain pump that prevents fluid and sewage backflow during power outages and plumbing blockages. Another modification provides two donuts to prevent the flow of fluid blocking both the floor drain and the main sewer drain.
