TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY, POWER UNIT AND LIFTING CABINET
A lifting cabinet includes a transmission assembly and a power unit for raising and lowering a shelf. The transmission assembly comprises a first transmission unit, comprising a screw rod which is connected with a driving device and a sliding piece which is connected with the lifting shelf, and the sliding piece is coupled to the screw rod. The screw rod rotates under the action of the driving device and drives the sliding piece to move back and forth along the axis of the screw rod; and then the sliding piece drives the lifting shelf to move up and down. For the lifting cabinet and the power unit thereof, the transmission assembly converts a rotary motion outputted from the driving device into a linear motion through the cooperation between the screw rod and the sliding piece, and a greater axial force is thereby outputted. Thus, a relatively small motor with a lower output torque can be used in the lifting cabinet to drive a lifting shelf of the same weight when compared to the conventional lifting cabinet, and the problem of large motor in conventional lifting cabinet taking up too much space is thereby solved.
STEEL CABLE STEERING DEVICE, STEEL CABLE STEERING SYSTEM AND LIFTING CABINET
A cable steering system directs steel cables, for lifting cabinet shelf. The cable steering system includes left and right devices each comprising a first transmission wheel for horizontally turning the cable, and a second transmission wheel for vertically turning the cable which extends out from the first transmission wheel; and the cable extending out from the second transmission wheel is located in the middle of a side edge of the cabinet body. With the steel cable steering devices of the lifting cabinet, each steel cable extends horizontally along the first transmission wheel, and then is directed vertically downwardly by the second transmission wheel, thereby the cable is connected to a middle part of a side edge of the lifting shelf, so that the lifting shelf bears a balanced force.

LIFTING CABINET
A lifting cabinet, comprises a cabinet body, wherein the cabinet body comprises a side plate in which at least two wire through-holes are configured, a trunking which is configured in the side plate for communicating with the two wire through-holes, and wires which are placed in the trunking and are respectively connected to electric parts in different spaces within the cabinet body through the two wire through-holes. The cabinet solves the problem of messy and unsightly appearance caused by unreasonable wire arrangement.
ADJUSTABLE SHELF ASSEMBLY FOR AN APPLIANCE
An appliance includes a cabinet and a shelf assembly. The shelf assembly includes a lead screw mounted to the cabinet such that the lead screw is rotatable. A shelf support is mounted to the cabinet such the shelf support is translatable relative to the lead screw. The shelf support has a housing. A nut is disposed within the housing of the shelf support and is threaded on the lead screw. The nut has a plurality of teeth at an outer surface of the nut. A locking plunger has at least one tooth. An actuator is coupled to the locking plunger. The actuator is operable to selectively mesh the at least one tooth of the locking plunger with the plurality of teeth of the nut.

PIVOTABLE OVERHEAD STORAGE UNIT
An overhead storage unit includes a pivot arm extending from a first end to a second end. The first end is pivotably mountable to a fixed pivot and the pivot arm is pivotable about a pivot axis defined by the pivot. A storage container having interconnected walls defines a storage container interior. One of the interconnected walls is a conforming wall. The storage container is mounted to the pivot arm and pivotable to be raised and lowered between a stored position and an accessible position. In the stored position, the storage container is disposed within the overhead storage area and the conforming wall is upright. In the accessible position, the storage container is disposed below the overhead storage area and the conforming wall provides access to the storage container interior. A residential living unit and method are also disclosed.
Device and method for storing items using a rack
A device for storing items having a rack that is provided with storage compartments, and having a rack serving apparatus. In order to place items into storage and to remove them from storage, the rack serving apparatus and the rack can move horizontally and vertically relative to one another, with the rack having a variable adjustment of the storage compartments by way of storage compartment divisions that can be variably set both in the horizontal and also in the vertical direction and bear the item.

PULL-DOWN CABINET
A pull-down cabinet is retrofitted into a conventional kitchen cabinet housing. The pull-down cabinet includes a base affixed to a wall and a cabinet body that fits into the base. On each side of the pull-down cabinet, a first arm is pivotally connected on a first distal end to the base and on a second distal end to the cabinet body, and a second arm is pivotally connected on a first distal end of the base and on a second distal end to the cabinet body. In operation, as the cabinet body is pulled away from the base, on respective sides of the pull-down cabinet the first arm and the second arm extend outwardly to permit the cabinet body to be lifted outwardly and then downwardly. Preferably, the cabinet body is lifted slightly upwardly before being lifted outwardly and then downwardly
