RISER RING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A system for and a method of preventing a conduit, pipe, or other similar traversing piece of equipment, from falling through an opening, and for facilitating ready adjustment of the traversing piece of equipment during installation, maintenance, and/or repair services. A first embodiment may involve a single-component system or a multi-component system. A second embodiment may involve a multi-component system for and method of effectively increasing the diameter of a conduit or pipe to an amount greater than that of an opening, but in a way such that the conduit or pipe can be adjustably extended without need for disengaging the system or back-tracking/reversing the method. A third embodiment may involve an annular riser ring and method of use thereof, wherein the riser ring is configured to slide over a conduit or pipe and is held in place along the pipe or conduit by a tight but slidable friction fit.
SUPPORT FOR SEALING AROUND A BUILDING PENETRATION
A method of sealing around a penetration that extends out of a wall of a building with structural members separated by spaces. A weather barrier is installed across the structural members of the wall such that the weather barrier defines a wall surface and the penetration extends past the wall surface. A backer support is installed behind the weather barrier and adjacent to the penetration. The penetration is sealed to the weather barrier by applying a sealing material around the penetration, the backer support being sufficiently rigid to support the weather barrier and the sealing material against pressure applied during installation.
Escutcheon
An escutcheon mountable on a pipe having compression ferrule thereon, having a body with an annular body wall and an inner body sidewall portion defining a body opening, and an insert having an annular insert wall portion, an outer insert sidewall portion extending about the annular insert wall portion and sized to fit within the central body opening with the outer insert sidewall portion, and a plurality of inwardly extending members. The members being resiliently bendable between a first position with the inward free-end portions being in gripping contact with the pipe and a second position with the inward free-end portions defining a central insert opening sized to permit the insert to pass by the ferrule on the pipe as the escutcheon is pressed onto the pipe and then return to the first position.
Apparatus and method for snap-fit clamping assembly
A clamping assembly for supporting a tubular object accessing a through-hole in a panel includes a clamp and a retainer configured to be positioned at least partially around the tubular object on a first side and a second side, respectively, of the through-hole. The clamp and retainer respectively include at least one clamp lock mechanism and at least one retainer lock mechanism configured to move between a respective open position and a respective closed position. The clamp includes at least one clamp hook configured to engage with the at least one retainer hole in the retainer in a snap-fit relation when the clamp and the retainer are in the respective closed position at the first side and second side, respectively, of the through-hole. A method of supporting a tubular object and an aircraft having the clamping assembly are also disclosed.

EXPANSION AND MOVEMENT JOINTS
Expansion and movement joints are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a collar having a first aperture extending therethrough to receive a conduit, and a guide to receive the collar, where the guide has a second aperture that defines an inner surface of the guide, and where the inner surface of the guide is larger than an outer surface of the collar to define a gap therebetween.
A PIPE SHAFT MODULE
A pipe shaft module and a method for mounting a pipe shaft module in a pipe shaft of a building, said pipe shaft module (1) comprising: —a pipe connection box (5); and —at least one pipe (7a, b, c) which is protruding into the pipe connection box (5) and which is provided to the pipe connection box such that it can slide along its length direction in relation to the pipe connection box, wherein said pipe connection box (5) comprises: —a pipe connection device (11) comprising at least one pipe connector (13a, b, c) for each pipe (7a, b, c) provided in the pipe shaft module (1), wherein said pipe connection device (11) is mounted within the pipe connection box (5) such that it can be moved within the pipe connection box (5) into at least two different positions where one position is a connection position in which the pipe connectors (13a, b, c) are positioned such that one pipe connector (13a, b, c) can be connected to each pipe (7a, b, c) of the pipe shaft module (1).
GROMMET AND WIRE HARNESS
A grommet includes a fitting body causing a circumferential edge portion of a through hole provided in a wall body to be fitted into a fitting groove provided in an outer wall, and a first cylinder and a second cylinder causing a harness body to be extracted through the cylinder. The fitting body includes a cylindrical portion, a plurality of ribs rising from an outer circumferential wall surface of the cylindrical portion and disposed on the outer circumferential wall surface at equal intervals in a circumferential direction, and a first support portion and a second support portion provided for each of the ribs. The first support portion and the second support portion project from the outer circumferential wall surface to be high enough to suppress elastic deformation of the rib in the circumferential direction toward the outer circumferential wall surface.
