Protection device, assembly and method

A protection device for preventing damage to an elongate flexible member passing through an aperture including a body portion adapted to be inserted into the aperture in a first direction and having an internal passageway for allowing movement of an elongate flexible member therethrough, and at least one latching element pivotally mounted on the body portion. The protection device can be used for protecting an elongate flexible member passing through an aperture in a support pillar of an offshore turbine generator. A method of removing the protection device from an aperture is also disclosed.

A grommet assembly configured to be disposed within an aperture in a panel having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface is presented herein. The grommet assembly includes a grommet frame configured to contact the first surface of the panel and an elastomeric region extending from the grommet frame and configured to be inserted within the aperture. The elastomeric region defines a plurality of ribs angled such that the ribs are configured to provide an insertion force when the elastomeric region is inserted within the aperture and provide a removal force greater than the insertion force when the elastomeric region is withdrawn from the aperture. A method of manufacturing the grommet assembly is also presented.

A system and method for building a solid wall with a drop-in ceiling includes a floor track to be secured on a base floor. A support structure of studs is to be secured to the floor track. Cornice rails are to be placed on top of the studs. Splice plates are to connect ends of the cornice rails together. A top cladding is to be installed to at least a portion of the studs at a fixed distance below the top of the studs. The top cladding is to be installed prior to the cornice rails being secured to the top of the studs. Ceiling mounts are to be installed on top of the cladding in a manner that provides equal spacing reveals between the ceiling mounts and the cladding. Splice plates are to connect ends of the ceiling mounts together. A secondary cladding is to be installed to the studs. To complete the wall system, a drop-in ceiling is secured on top of the ceiling mounts.

Hydrant mounting bracket

A mounting bracket for a hydrant that is fully concealed by the hydrant head. The mounting bracket is fastened to the structure and includes tabs which engage the hydrant head to tightly secure the hydrant to the structure. The hydrant head includes a structure engaging periphery such that the mounting screws are fully concealed and protected from the environment.

A mounting bracket for a hydrant that is fully concealed by the hydrant head. The mounting bracket is fastened to the structure and includes tabs which engage the hydrant head to tightly secure the hydrant to the structure. The hydrant head includes a structure engaging periphery such that the mounting screws are fully concealed and protected from the environment.

The inner retaining portion further includes a pair of retention members defining a retention area therebetween in which a conduit can be secured. Each retention member includes a flexible arm. Each of the outer retaining portions extends away from the base to a free end.

A fixture for piping includes a fitting. The fitting includes a base, and a locking tab. The locking tab has an end fixed onto the base, and one or more folding sections. The locking tab is formed as a folding configuration folded twice or more, and is further formed so as to be inclinable by elastic deformation about the end and the one or more folding sections serving as a fulcrum, respectively, thereby being locked up with a hole in a vehicle body.
