WATER SUCTION HOSES
A hose section (10) for a sea water suction hose (50) and a method of assembling a sea water suction hose (50) is provided. The hose section (10) comprising attachment means (18) for attaching an auxiliary hose section (20) thereto. The method of assembling the sea water suction hose (50) comprising the steps of providing at least two sea water hose sections (10) each having an attachment means (18) for attaching an auxiliary hose section (20) thereto, attaching an auxiliary hose section (20) to each sea water hose section (10), connecting the auxiliary hose sections (20) together and connecting the sea water hose sections (10) together.

Environmental monitoring pipeline closure and wireless positioning and warning system thereof
An environmental monitoring pipeline closure and a wireless positioning and warning system thereof are disclosed. The environmental monitoring pipeline closure is composed of an upper platen, an expansion body, a lower platen, a plurality of bolts, and a plurality of compression rings, on which a plurality of clamping holes are provided for holding and fixing a cable line. A gas sensing device is provided inside the pipeline closure to detect gas concentrations within the space inside a manhole channel when being installed in the underground manhole channel. The measured data is transferred to a monitoring device through wireless transmissions to keep monitoring gas concentrations within the manhole channel. This prevents injuries and deaths of people working inside the manhole channel due to a lack of oxygen or inhalation of harmful gases.
Cable installation detection
A method for use in connection with installing a cable into a conduit having a first conduit end and a second conduit end, comprising the steps of —providing the cable with a metallic attribute, —providing within or proximate to the conduit, sensing means for sensing the metallic attribute, —introducing the cable into the first conduit end and driving it towards the second conduit end and —detecting that the sensing means has sensed the metallic attribute by sensing a change in inductance levels of the sensing means.

COAXIAL TUBING SYSTEMS WITH SECURABLE SPACERS
Spacers are provided for maintaining annular tube spacing, particularly at tube ends, in coaxial tubing systems, while also proving fluid passages ways permitting fluid flow between tubes of the coaxial tubing system. The spacers may be made of conductive material for enabling electrical coupling of the inner and outer tubes, and thus grounding of the inner tube. The spacers define a retention groove extending around their periphery for receiving a crimped portion of the outer tube, so as to mechanically fix the spacer in a longitudinal position relative to the coaxial tubing system. Accordingly, the spacer does not rely on “springbuck” characteristics of bent coaxial tubing systems for fixation, and thus is suitable for use in both bend and unbent portions of coaxial tubing systems.
INSULTING SUPPORT BRACKET FOR JACKETED PIPE SYSTEM
A saddle includes an arcuate central portion defining a first end and a second end opposite the first end; a first flange portion bent radially inward from the arcuate central portion at the first end; and a second flange portion bend radially inward from the arcuate central portion at the second end.
INSULTING SUPPORT BRACKET FOR JACKETED PIPE SYSTEM
An insulating support bracket can include at least one standoff, each standoff being formed of rigid insulating material and at least one saddle, each saddle being formed of a rigid material, each saddle being fastened to at least one standoff, the insulating support bracket being arranged to surround a piping element.
FUEL LINE SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEM
A second layer of physical protection against failure for a fuel line of a vehicle for use with high pressure and cryogenic fuels increases safety. The primary fuel line can be assembled from one or more components. The secondary protection is a single outer sleeve that includes a selectively permeable or impermeable membrane and may be reinforced. The sleeve and enclosed volume can also be used to protect against oxygen liquification in cryogenic applications. A means to detect failure of the primary fuel line and optional means to vent leaking fuel depend on the application. Clamp designs may be used to mount and clamp such assemblies in a vehicle structure.
