Termination bulkheads for subsea pipe-in-pipe systems
10435953 · 2019-10-08 · ·

A pipe-in-pipe bulkhead assembly has inner and outer rings spaced in concentric relation to define a thermally-isolating gap in the annulus between them. Interlocking formations project into the annulus from each of the rings, presenting confronting faces where they overlap radially. The gap extends between the longitudinally-spaced faces. A thermally-insulating spacer is interposed between the faces in the gap to carry axial mechanical loads between the inner and outer rings. Heating elements outside the inner ring extend longitudinally beyond the gap between the faces and along a longitudinal passageway that passes through or beside an interlocking formation of the inner ring. The spacer may be positioned before or after the outer ring is placed, for example as a discrete element or as an injected mass. An additional sealing mass may also be positioned in the annulus, for example by injection, to promote a gas-tight seal.

SEPARATION DUCT HAVING LONGITUDINAL SPACERS
20190293210 · 2019-09-26 · ·

A separation duct for encompassing an elongate member. The duct includes longitudinal internal spacers extend longitudinally in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the duct. A longitudinal plane for each spacer is substantially parallel to the longitudinal plane of the other spacers. The spacers support the elongate member and resist slippage of the duct relative to the elongate member. The duct may be used to provide separation and protection for elongate members of a range of outside dimensions.

A retractable vacuum hose system may include a hose having a distal end portion and a proximal end portion and a hose engagement terminal for selectively engaging the proximal end portion to secure the proximal end portion and provide power through the hose.

Tubing bundle supports and support systems

Tubing bundle supports comprise body parts clamped around split rotatable sleeves. In one embodiment, spring mounted peripheral shoes and rotatable tubing bundle support sleeves allow metal tubes and tubing bundles to be routed inside a conduit in spaced apart positions and resistant to vibration. In another embodiment, split pillow block sections are clamped around a split rotatable sleeve. In an embodiment, the split pillow block support is held to a strut channel by a strut channel nut.

Coaxial video push-cables are disclosed. One embodiment includes a central conductor and a multi-dielectric stack of multiple concentric tubular layers disposed around the central conductor having one or more structural layers and one or more impedance tuning layers where the thickness of materials of each layer are selected to provide a pre-defined elastic modulus and electromagnetic impedance, an electromagnetic shielding layer, and a jacket enclosing the shielding layer, multi-dielectric stack layers, and central conductor.

FLEXIBLE PIPE AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM
20190234534 · 2019-08-01 ·

Energy consumption of a temperature control unit can be reduced. A flexible pipe 13 includes a bellows pipe 130 made of a metal and an inner tube 131. The inner tube 131 is provided at an inner side of the bellows pipe 130, and an inner surface of the inner tube where a fluid flows is smooth. The inner surface of the inner tube 131 where the fluid flows may be smoother than a surface of a braided body. Further, the inner tube 131 may be made of, for example, a conductive material. An inner side of the inner tube 131 where the fluid flows may be coated with a conductive film.
