Fitting securement ring for threaded connector
A plumbing connector and method of connection including: a fitting having external threads on at least the first end; a tube having a first end inserted into the first end of the fitting; and an annular gasket, a compression ring, a lock ring, and a nut coaxial with and surrounding the outer diameter of the tube. The nut has internal threads adapted to engage the external threads of the fitting and is adapted to contain the gasket, the compression ring, and the lock ring upon threading of the nut onto the fitting. Upon threading and tightening of the nut onto the fitting, the gasket is compressed, an inner edge of the lock ring bitingly engages the outer diameter of the tube, and the gasket forms a seal with at least the first end of the fitting, the outer diameter of the tube, and an outer edge of the lock ring.
PIPE JOINT MADE OF SYNTHETIC RESIN
A pipe joint, made of synthetic resin, including: an inner ring; a joint body having an annular sealing groove and a male screw portion formed on an outer circumference; a union nut having a female screw portion formed on an inner circumference to be tightened onto the male screw portion of the joint body, such that a first opposing surface is formed in the joint body to be perpendicular to an axial direction, and a second opposing surface is formed in the union nut to oppose the first opposing surface. An engagement projection is provided in one of the first opposing surface and the second opposing surface. An engagement recess is provided in the other of the first opposing surface and the second opposing surface such that the engagement projection engages with the engagement recess when the union nut has been tightened up to an appropriate position.
Aircraft washer
An aircraft pipe coupling including a first pipe end and a second pipe end, and a locking washer disposed between the first pipe end and second pipe end. The locking washer including a first tab in engagement with the first pipe end, and a second tab in engagement with the second pipe end.
Split-ring gland pipe coupling with corrugated armor
A pipe coupling for coupling adjacent ends of a pair of pipes includes a sleeve, a split-ring gland positioned around one of the ends of the sleeve, and at least one annular gasket positioned within the split-ring gland and configured to be compressed by the split-ring gland for sealing one pipe end to the sleeve. The split-ring gland includes two partially circular gland members with spaced ends defining a gap. The pipe coupling includes an armor positioned to span the gap between the spaced ends to provide a generally closed annular periphery about the gasket. The armor includes a corrugated portion having a plurality of corrugations engaging the split-ring gland and the gasket during compression of the gasket. The armor is cold formed to improve structural strength and durability.

Extraction device for removing an adapter secured in a port
This disclosure relates generally to couplings used in mining and other applications. An extraction device for removing an adapter from a port formed in a structure is provided. The extraction device may include an end wall and a side wall. The end wall may define an external face of the extraction device. The side wall may extend axially away from a periphery of the end wall. The side wall may terminate at an end face of the extraction device. The end face may have a larger dimension than the port so as to abut the structure adjacent to a periphery of the port. The side wall may include an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface may have a threaded portion.
Manual Pipe Valve Connector for Jointed Pipe Connections with Quick Release Check Valve Assembly and Uses Thereof
The present invention provides a novel clutch connector assembly for jointed pipe, threaded pipe, coiled tubing or any threaded or non-threaded pipe for a bottom hole assembly that eliminates the need to use screw threads to mate two pipes or mechanical assemblies, harbors a spring-loaded mechanical locking system in addition in to a pressure-activated, component protectant system, requires no significant tools, other than an Allen wrench or similar screw setting device, permits distributed torque loading, allows for movement in either a clockwise or counter clockwise rotational direction through interlocking castellations and presents a removeable and replaceable valve assembly preventing retrograde hydrocarbon advancement through a drilling pipe.
Method for manufacturing a fuel tank or filling pipe and use thereof in a hybrid vehicle
A method for manufacturing a fuel tank or filling pipe including a wall made of thermoplastics material and a fibrous reinforcement over at least part of the surface thereof, the method including: heating the fibrous reinforcement to bring the fibrous reinforcement into an at least partially molten state; introducing the heated fibrous reinforcement, and the wall in at least partially molten state, into a mold; and welding the fibrous reinforcement to the wall using pressure of a gas which inflates the wall and presses the heated fibrous reinforcement firmly against the wall in the molten state.
Pipe joint made of synthetic resin
A pipe joint made of synthetic resin comprises a first opposing surface formed in a joint body perpendicular to the axial direction, and a second opposing surface formed in a union nut that opposes the first opposing surface. An engagement projection is provided in the second opposing surface that projects toward the first opposing surface. An engagement recess is provided in the first opposing surface such that the engagement projection engages with the engagement recess when the union nut has been tightened up to an appropriate position.
Screw element for the connection of tubes and tube connection device having this screw element
The invention relates to a screw element for the connection of tubes, preferably motor vehicle lines. A threading and at least one contact surface without threading are provided on the screw element. The screw element has an outer coating and an inner coating. The outer coating comprises a first polymer and nanoparticles of a first solid material. The inner coating may also comprise nonoparticles or a polymer.
