Screw element for the connection of tubes and tube connection device having this screw element
The invention relates to a screw element for the connection of tubes, preferably motor vehicle lines. A threading and at least one contact surface without threading are provided on the screw element. The screw element has an outer coating and an inner coating. The outer coating comprises a first polymer and nanoparticles of a first solid material. The inner coating may also comprise nonoparticles or a polymer.
Fire hose coupling with directional indicator
A fire hose coupling comprises a body having a first end connected to a fire hose and a second end having either male or female threads or, alternatively, a quarter-turn sexless coupler. The fire hose coupling comprises a recessed portion formed in an outer surface of the body. The recessed portion is shaped to define a visuotactile directional indicator such as an arrow. The recessed portion may include a light-reflecting surface to enhance visibility such as a super reflective metal film, a photo luminescent coating, or a phosfluorescent coating. The recessed directional indicator may be formed in female, male or sexless (Storz) couplings.

CHROMATOGRAPHY COLUMN ADAPTERS WITH FACE SEALS FOR INTERFACING WITH CLAMPING FLUIDIC CONNECTORS
Threaded conventional column end fittings for liquid chromatography columns do not have face seals that enable them to be used with clamping fluidic connectors. The exemplary embodiments may provide adapters that interface with conventional threaded column end fittings so that the column assembly may now be used with the clamping fluidic connectors. The adapters of the exemplary embodiments may include lock nuts for securing the adapters to column end fittings of a liquid chromatography columns. The lock nuts may include threads that bear the load of the adapter rather than the column end fitting of the chromatography column. The threads of the lock nut become the load bearing surfaces, and the load is distributed over the surfaces where the threads of the adapter engage with the threads of the lock nut.

Meter lock and extender system and method use
In various embodiments, the present invention describes a system that attaches to an existing pipeline, pipe, valve or meter in order to prevent unwanted theft and tampering with fluids and gasses flowing through the pipeline, pipe, valve or meter. In one embodiment of the present invention, the inventive device has two locking halves that mechanically and releasably interact with each other and cover the metering device prior to being locked. In one embodiment of the present invention one housing frame connect with a rectangular base underneath the invention thereby allowing it to lock the meter. In one embodiment of the present invention the electronic signal devices are elevated from the meter thereby preventing accidental dislodging and tampering.
Tube fitting
A tube fitting including a first coupling member having at least a snap coupling, and a second coupling member having a first quick-connect side having a mating snap coupling disposed at a first end of the second coupling member, and a second quick-connect side configured for threaded engagement disposed at a second end of the second coupling member, the second end being opposite the first end, wherein the mating snap coupling is configured to engage the snap coupling to effect coupling of the first and second coupling member.
FLUID COUPLING AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLY
Fluid coupling (10), comprising: a first member (20) configured for connection with a first fluid conduit (16); a second member (30) configured for connection with a second fluid conduit (18); a nut (50) disposed at least partially around the first member (20), the nut (50) configured to engage the second member (30); and a sleeve (60) configured to rotate the nut (50) and cause or facilitate engagement between the nut (50) and the second member (30).
Fixing device for lower stage members and fluid control device equipped with fixing device
Provided are a fixing device for a lower-stage member which facilitates a leveling operation for making upper surfaces of lower-stage members coplanar, and can further enhance a vibration absorbing effect generated by an elastic member, and a fluid control device which includes the fixing device. A fixing device for a lower-stage member is configured such that respective lower-stage members (2) are fixed once and, thereafter, a desired lower-stage member (2) is moved upwardly against an elastic force (21) so as to finely adjust positions of upper surfaces of a plurality of lower-stage members (2). The elastic member (21) is formed of an annular body made of rubber or a synthetic resin. A cutout (21a, 21b) which imparts the elastic deformation by bending when a force in the vertical direction is applied to the elastic member (21) is formed on an upper portion and a lower portion of an inner peripheral surface of the elastic member (21).
