Seal surface configuration for fluid system components
A seal system includes a first connector member, a second connector member, a gland structure, and a seal member. The first and second connector members include respective seal structures. The second connector member is configured for connection to the first connector member. The gland structure is defined by the first connector member and the second connector member, and is located between the first and the second seal structures. The seal member is at least partially positioned in the gland structure. The first and second seal structures are configured to deform the seal member into the gland structure in response to connection of the first connector member and the second connector member.
Collar for use with a casing and an applicator
A collar and method are provided for coupling a casing with an applicator. The collar comprising: a body having a first end, a second end and an external surface extending therebetween; a bore extending through the body, the bore having an upper bore portion adjacent the first end for releasable engagement with the attachment portion of the applicator, and a lower bore portion adjacent the second end for securing to the casing; an internal partition extending radially into the body between the upper bore portion from the lower bore portion, and a sealing ridge connected to the partition adjacent the upper bore portion, the sealing ridge adapted to contact the attachment portion of the applicator to form a seal.
Hydraulic Plate and Pipe Connection System
The present invention discloses a system comprising a hydraulic plate assembly, a hydraulic grapple pipe connection assembly, hydraulic circuit assembly, or a combination thereof to set and attach pipe connections to equipment, such as oilfield equipment and method(s) of using the system. The use of this system makes the process of attaching the connections to the pipe safe, quick and easy.
ANTI-UNSCREWING QUICK COUPLING FITTING
A quick coupling fitting (1) is described, comprising a first connector (2) and a second connector (3) coaxially screwed along a longitudinal axis (L), said first connector (2) comprises at least one guide track (27) which is integral with an external casing (23), a sliding ring (28) slidably mounted axially aligned with the external casing (23) and adapted to slide on said at least one guide track (27), a screwing ring (29) screwed with said external casing (23), said sliding ring (28) comprises at least one tooth (288), said second connector (3) comprises a locking ring (38) rotatably mounted axially aligned with said external body (3) which comprises at least one housing (388), said at least one tooth (288) being mountable with said at least one housing (388) in a fully screwed position of the quick coupling fitting (1).
Extraction Device For Removing An Adapter Secured In A Port
This disclosure relates generally to couplings used in mining and other applications. An extraction device for removing an adapter from a port formed in a structure is provided. The extraction device may include an end wall and a side wall. The end wall may define an external face of the extraction device. The side wall may extend axially away from a periphery of the end wall. The side wall may terminate at an end face of the extraction device. The end face may have a larger dimension than the port so as to abut the structure adjacent to a periphery of the port. The side wall may include an inner surface and an outer surface. The inner surface may have a threaded portion.
SEAL AND PIPE CARRIER UNIT FOR A SUBSEA PIPE CONNECTION
A pipe connection and a method for sealingly connecting pipes which, in their opposite end portions, are provided with removable rings arranged in grooves provided in the peripheries of the pipes, the pipe connection being provided with a first nut, which is provided with an internally threaded portion and is arranged to encircle the end portion of the first pipe and has a shoulder portion which may abut in an axially supporting manner against said ring, and a second nut, which is provided with an externally threaded portion and is arranged to encircle the end portion of the second pipe and abut with a shoulder portion in an axially supporting manner against said ring, and the nuts are in threaded engagement with each other and are arranged to press radial pipe-end faces of the pipes against an axially supporting portion of a seal and pipe carrier.
Tube fitting tamper-resistant collar
A tamper evident assembly is provided for an associated fluid fitting that has a threaded nut that cooperates with a threaded body. The tamper evident assembly includes a collar having a through opening dimensioned for receipt over at least one of the nut and body. A holding mechanism is operatively associated with the collar for movement between (i) a first position that extends radially inward a dimension no less than the through opening, and (ii) a second position extending radially inward that prevents axial removal of the collar over both of the nut and body of the associated fluid fitting.
Pipe joint structure
A pipe joint structure may include a joint body, an O-ring seal piece, an auxiliary retaining ring, a nut lock, and a connecting base, wherein the joint body has a first opening and a second opening connecting and transmitting through with each other, a cam ring is configured in the first opening, a first thread section is configured on the outer margin of the joint body corresponding to the first opening, the auxiliary retaining ring has a first end, a second end, an inner ring portion, and an outer ring portion, a function inclined plane is formed by cone shape expansion in the middle part of the inner ring portion toward the first end, a second thread section and a stepped blocking portion are configured in the inner margin of the lock nut.
Hose crimp fitting or hydraulic adaptors that utilize a reverse threaded lock nut that engages to a JIC nut or similar swivel nut to prevent the nut from loosening
A tubular hose stem with a flange, a first left hand threaded section on the outer surface of the stem generally adjacent the flange, a first JIC/swivel nut over the flange having an inner diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the flange, a second lock nut threadably engaged to the hose stem on a second left threaded section adjacent the JIC nut, a conical washer fixedly secured around the hose stem between the first and second threaded sections, an O-ring positioned adjacent the washer opposite the left side of the washer; and a ferrule having a first end fixedly threaded to the hose stem and having a second end larger in diameter than the stem.
