Connecting device for conduits or hose lines having assembly detection
A connecting device for conduits or hose lines comprising a connecting body which has a borehole for conducting a medium flowing through the conduit or hose line therethrough, and a pipe-like end piece which can be inserted into a receptacle that is formed at the front end of the connecting body and which can fixed in said receptacle by means of a union nut that is arranged rotatably between a loosened position and an assembly position on the outside of the connecting body, wherein a display rendering the assembly state of the connecting device is arranged between the mutually facing end faces of the union nut and connecting body, is characterized in that the display consists of two annular display bodys (13, 14) as carriers of at least one marking in each case, each display body being formed at the end faces of the connecting body (10) and union nut (12), whereby at the start of assembly of the union nut (12) the markings of the two displays bodys (13, 14) are located at different locations on the circumference of the connecting body (10) and union nut (12) and when the assembly of the connecting device is completed, they are moved into a mutually agreeing position by the relative rotation of the two display bodys (13, 14) relative to each other that takes place when the union nut (12) is screwed on.
Manual pipe valve connector for jointed pipe connections with quick release check valve assembly and uses thereof
A connection that provides for a means to manually make-up a pipe connection or assembly without the need for wrenches, tongs, hydraulic torque equipment, etc. A connection design that can be assembled and manufactured without threads and permits the same loading, torque and integrity requirements of threaded joint systems. A system that incorporates a locking mechanism that requires only manual effort to disengage.
Screw connection device for fluid lines, in particular for motor vehicle fluid lines
A screw connection device for fluid lines having a coupling nut with an interior space and having an internal threading running over the circumference of the interior space, as well as having a connecting element with an external threading. A line end of a fluid line is accommodated in the coupling nut, wherein the line end exhibits an end shape. When the internal threading of the coupling nut is screwed to the external threading of the connecting element, a locating surface disposed in the interior space of the coupling nut is moved toward the back end of the end shape, or vice versa, respectively. A spring element is disposed between the locating surface and the back end of the end shape, running over the circumference of the fluid line.
Assembly comprising a first conduit and a second conduit connected through a connecting device
An assembly is provided that includes at least one first conduit and at least one second conduit connected together through a connecting device. The connecting device includes an exteriorly threaded tube; a connecting part attached to one end of the tube and including an orifice; a holding nut screwed onto the tube and axially maintaining the connecting part relative to a tube; and a retaining member attached on the holding nut and engaging with the first conduit so as to axially retain the first conduit fitted into the orifice, the retaining member cooperating with the first conduit so as to oppose the unscrewing of the holding nut.
Movement-constraining assembly for fluid-conveying system
A movement-constraining assembly for a fluid-conveying system comprises a fluid-conveying tube defining an inner passage for fluid to pass therethrough. The tube is adapted to be connected to components of the fluid-conveying system at opposed ends thereof. A blocking ring is mounted to the tube with complementary surfaces between the tube and the blocking ring to block rotation between the tube and the blocking ring, the blocking ring having a first joint portion. A base is adapted to be secured to a structure, and having a second joint portion operatively joined to the first joint portion of the blocking ring to form a joint blocking at least an axial rotational degree of freedom of the fluid-conveying tube and allowing at least one translational degree of freedom of the tube relative to the structure. A method for constraining movement of a fluid-conveying tube of a fluid conveying-system is also provided.
DEVICE FOR THE DETACHABLE CONNECTION OF A FIRST TUBULAR COMPONENT AND A SECOND TUBULAR COMPONENT
A device for the detachable connection of a first tubular component and a second tubular component, wherein the first tubular component has a flange-like thickening in an end region facing the second component, wherein a screw nut is provided as the second tubular component which is dimensioned such that the inner opening of the screw nut can be applied over the flange-like thickening onto the first tubular component, wherein two passages located radially next to one another are provided in the outer wall of the screw nut, and wherein a flat, clamp-shaped holding component is provided, having two inner brackets corresponding to the two passages of the screw nut so that the two inner brackets can be pushed into the passages of the screw nut. The screw nut is fastened to the first component in connection with the flange-like thickening of the first component.
Lockable connection between tubular members
A connection between a first tubular member and a second tubular member includes a first tubular end, a second tubular end, a load shoulder member threadable onto the first tubular end, and a nut receivable around the first tubular end and the load shoulder member and threadable onto the second tubular end. The connection also includes a keyway disposed axially between the load shoulder member and the second tubular end, wherein the keyway is also disposed through the load shoulder member and into the first tubular end to receive a key member.
Press fitting device, components and method
A press fitting device, components and method provide one or more indicators to provide a visual indication that the fitting has been properly pressed around a tube and that the correct amount of pressure has been provided to create a permanent seal. In embodiments, the present invention includes a fitting having a main body component with a packing arrangement including a sealing ring, a lock ring support member, a lock ring and a malleable and expandable indicator ring.
Rotatable adjustable segmented clamp
A low profile rotatable adjustable segmented clamp device having a substantially flat rotatable surface composed of individual segments having adjustable fasteners sequentially connecting the individual elements to form the rotatable adjustable segmented clamp. The low profile and rotatability of the clamp is achieved for by having each adjustable fastener disposed within the outer perimeter of the rotatable adjustable clamp. As a consequence of its low horizontal and vertical profile the rotatable adjustable clamp prevents failure of municipal water main valves.
PIPE CONNECTOR
A pipe connector for connecting pipes in a pipeline. The connector may include an outer body defining a cavity; a gripping ring supported in the cavity, the gripping ring defining a gap to allow the gripping ring to decrease in diameter to engage one of the pipes, a pin releasably positioned in the gap for selectively maintaining the gap, an end nut defining a nut bore receiving the gripping ring, and a seal supported in the cavity. The end nut being configured to move axially inwardly relative to the outer body to compress the seal and cause at least the first gripping ring to engage the one of the pipes upon release of the pin.
