ROTATIONAL FITTING FOR LOW PURITY, HIGH PURITY, AND ULTRA HIGH PURITY GAS LINES OR PROCESS COOLING AND CRITICAL PROCESS COOLING WATER SYSTEMS
A rotational high purity or ultra-high purity gas fitting or process cooling or critical process cooling water fitting comprising an inlet pipe, inlet flange, outlet flange, a compression mechanism (such as a nut and bolt mechanism), a rotational outlet pin comprising an interior flange, a sealing void, a sealing element, and an outlet pipe. The rotational high purity or ultra-high purity gas fitting or process cooling or critical process cooling water fitting provides a fitting wherein at least one end (inlet or outlet) is capable of a full 360 degree rotation clockwise or counterclockwise while maintaining a high purity and ultra-high purity gas seal or a or process cooling or critical process cooling water seal. Functional rotating ability in live and non-live systems (while gas or other medium is flowing).
System and method for connecting a first and second hose coupling, and a locking device
A system includes first and second hose couplings, each having a hose body, an enlarged section integrated with the hose body, and a connecting section that is mobile in relation to the hose body. An intermediate connector includes a central section, a first lateral section and a second lateral section. The first lateral section can fit into the first connecting section and the second lateral section can fit into the second connecting section. A locking device includes a body having a first locking section, a second locking section and a central locking section. The first locking section couples with the enlarged section of the first hose coupling, the second locking section couples with the enlarged section of the second hose coupling, and the central locking section couples with the central section of the connector.
Connector device
A connector device has male and female parts with respective coaxial passageways. An external screwthread of a collet engages an internal screwthread on the female part and relative rotation between those screwthreads causes engagement of the female and male parts. A slot in the collet extends longitudinally and is open at both ends to enable the collet to be splayed as a split collet. A wedge located between the male part and the collet is displaceable longitudinally to splay the collet and lock the male and female parts in a sealing engagement. The connector includes a ring surrounding the end of the collet remote from the engagement between the male and female parts to resist splaying of the collet at that end. The connector without the male and female parts may also be used for connecting other such male and female parts.
FLUID COUPLING NUTS AND TOOLS THEREFOR
A coupling nut for sealingly engaging a ferrule of a fluid line to a component of a hydraulic system, has: a shank extending along a central axis and having threads to engage a nipple, the threads extending circumferentially around the central axis, the shank defining an inner passage extending along the central axis and sized to receive the fluid line; and a head extending from the shank circumferentially around the inner passage relative to the central axis, the head: defining faces circumferentially distributed about the central axis and edges at junctions between the faces, the faces including torque-transmitting faces each facing a direction having a circumferential component relative to the central axis, and having a cross-section in a plane normal to the central axis, the cross-section defining a plurality of symmetry planes containing the central axis, the torque-transmitting faces free of intersection with the plurality of symmetry planes.
Heat transfer interruption for improved fire resistance/proof performance
A fluid coupling includes a first adapter having at least one seal groove in an inner diameter surface of the first adapter, and at least one interruption in the inner diameter surface adjacent to the at least one seal groove. The fluid coupling may include a second adapter having an outer diameter surface engaging with at least a portion of the inner diameter surface of the first adapter to form a conductor path between the first adapter and the second adapter. The fluid coupling may further include at least one seal disposed in the at least one seal groove to provide a sealed connection between the first adapter and the second adapter. The at least one interruption may be configured to interrupt the conductor path in a region around the at least one seal.
LOCKABLE CONNECTION BETWEEN TUBULAR MEMBERS
A connection between a first tubular member and a second tubular member includes a first tubular end, a second tubular end, a load shoulder member threadable onto the first tubular end, and a nut receivable around the first tubular end and the load shoulder member and threadable onto the second tubular end. The connection also includes a keyway through the load shoulder member and into the first tubular end to receive a key member.
Connection structure of metal corrugated pipe
The present invention relates to a connection structure of a metal corrugated pipe, which is used to connect metal corrugated pipes with each other or to connect a metal corrugated pipe to a boiler combustor. The connection structure includes a first connection member having one side, in which an external thread is formed on an outer surface of the one side and an inner surface of the one side has a diameter gradually reduced to form an inclined surface; a second connection member formed on an inner surface thereof with an internal thread screw-coupled with the external thread; and a heat-resistant packing fitted on the outer surface of the metal corrugated pipe, in which a front end of the heat-resistant packing is compressed by the inclined surface as the first connection member is screw-coupled with the second connection member.
