Pre-positioner for a profiled clamp and connecting arrangement having such a pre-positioner
A pre-positioner for a profiled clamp being formed in two parts with a first element and a second element, wherein the first element can be fastened to a line end and the second element can be fastened to the profiled clamp. The disclosure further relates to a connecting arrangement having such a pre-positioner. To allow a simple mounting of the pre-positioner, the first element is designed to be stirrup-shaped with a foot portion which can be secured to the line end and with a holding portion which is offset radially outwards with respect to the foot portion. The holding portion has a cutout, wherein the second element has a pin which extends in the radial direction and which can be inserted into the cutout.
Balking tab to control duct coupling clocking
A duct arrangement may comprise a duct extending along a centerline axis, a flange coupled to an end of the duct, and a balking feature coupled to a distal surface of the duct and extending axially towards the flange, wherein the balking feature is configured to align a clamp with the flange.
CLAMPING SYSTEM FOR CONNECTING PIPES, COMPRISING A COLLAR AND A WASHER CARRYING SUPPORT LUGS
The clamping system is used for connecting two pipes whose facing ends have protruding bearing surfaces. The clamping system comprises a collar that can be clamped and a washer. The collar includes a belt whose internal periphery delimits a recess into which the bearing surfaces can be inserted. The washer comprises an annular part disposed inside the belt and carrying support lugs which have a hook configured to hook on an edge of the belt and a link section which extends between the annular part and the hook. The link section carries at least one retaining wing bent radially outwardly and having a retaining edge, the retaining wing having a width, measured axially, which decreases towards its free end, the edge of the belt being housed in the space formed between the retaining edge and the hook.
Conduit End Support And Plug Apparatus
A conduit end support and plug apparatus for installing conduit in concrete includes a flange having a plurality of mounting apertures to receive fasteners to attach the apparatus to a concrete slab mold. A support body is coupled to the flange to receive a conduit pipe. A base plug has an outer base portion and a central raised plug portion. The central raised plug portion fits within the conduit pipe. A breakable attachment bridge is coupled to the base plug and the flange. The breakable attachment bridge is breakable to separate and remove the base plug from the flange once concrete has hardened in the concrete slab mold.
Annular sleeves for fluid-handling components
A system includes a first body of a fluid-handling component and a second body of a fluid-handling component. The system also includes a fastener configured to couple the first body to the second body, and an annular sleeve configured to surround a portion of the fastener that is positioned at an interface between the first body and the second body when the first body and the second body are coupled to one another.
Method for joining pipe pieces and centering device for the joining process
A method for assembly of a fitting with a pipe piece using a flange connection disposes centering elements on the fitting at a distance from one another on the circumference, and centering bolts are inserted into centering openings of the centering elements and into accommodation openings of the fitting. A collar surface of the pipe piece is aligned on alignment surfaces of the centering elements. Subsequently, a loose flange ring is aligned on the centering bolts via its passage openings. The fitting and the pipe piece, which are aligned with one another, are connected with one another by the flange ring as well as connection elements, and in this regard, the centering elements and centering bolts are removed. Also a method having a similar effect, for assembly of two pipe pieces uses a flange connection, as does a centering apparatus for assembly.
Apparatus and method for providing gases to a user
A connector and tubing combination includes a tubing segment with an end piece, such as a tubing flange. The tubing flange can be secured within the connector by an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve of the connector. Both of the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve are located outside of the tubing flange and the tubing segment. In addition, the inner sleeve, outer sleeve and the tubing flange are mechanically connected.
Sealing device for flanges
Gaskets for sealing two mating surfaces have an inner ring positioned between two inner sealing deformable layers and an outer ring positioned exterior and concentric to the inner ring, the outer ring positioned between two outer sealing deformable layers. The two inner sealing deformable layers are configured to compress a greater amount than the two outer sealing deformable layers when a compressive force is applied. In a compressed configuration, the two inner sealing deformable layers fill in the crevices of the mating surfaces of a corroded flange connection thereby avoiding immediate maintenance for the damaged flanges. The inner and outer rings have grooves and ridges on upper and lower surfaces to retain and receive portions of the inner and outer sealing deformable layers in a sealed flange connection.
Flange assembly
A flange assembly includes a flange for connection to a hose or pipe, the flange defining a contact face for engagement with a contact face of an opposed flange. The flange assembly also includes at least three clamps spaced circumferentially around the contact face. Each clamp includes a clamp body pivotably secured to the flange and a clamp member mounted on the clamp body, which is movable between a first, retracted position and a second, clamping position. A clamp face of the clamp member faces the contact face of the flange. The clamp member is movable relative to the clamp body to adjust the position of the clamp face relative to the contact face of the flange and adjust a clamping force created between the clamp face and the contact face of the flange to retain an opposing flange in face-to-face engagement with the contact face of the flange.
Profiled Clamp
A profiled clamp with a profiled strip and an annular seal element, The profiled strip has two clamping heads which are connected together via a clamping element. The profiled strip has at least one radially outer positioning aid which has a spring elastic contact section for adapting to a shape characteristic of a line end that can be coupled to the profiled clamp, said aid being arranged in an axially offset manner to the profiled strip.
