Pipe connector and a pipe connector unit
A pipe connector for connecting a first element to a second element. The pipe connector includes a pipe segment, a first flange located at a first end of the pipe segment and configured to be connected to the first element, and a second flange located at a second end of the pipe segment and configured to be connected to the second element. The first flange includes a circumferential anchor flange that is fixedly connected to the pipe segment at the first end. A flange insert is displaceable in the axial direction of the pipe connector in relation to the anchor flange between a retracted position and an extended position, and a mechanism for displacing the flange insert in relation to the anchor flange. The flange insert in the extended position protrudes in the axial direction in relation to the anchor flange.
Profile Clamp Comprising a Sealing Element, Sealing Element for a Profile Clamp and Conduit Connection Assembly Comprising a Profile Clamp of This Type
A profile clamp comprising a profile strip and an annular sealing element, the profile strip having two tensioning heads which are interconnected by means of a tensioning element. The disclosure also relates to a corresponding sealing element and a conduit connection assembly comprising a profile clamp of this type. So that the sealing element is held so that it cannot rotate on the profile clamp, the sealing element has a retaining lug which extends radially outwards and is held on the tensioning element.
Profiled Clamp
A profiled clamp for assembling on pipe ends, having a first half-shell and a second half-shell, each of which has a clamping head at a first end and a connection geometry at a second end for releasably connecting the second end. The clamping heads are connected to a clamping element, and at least one of the two half-shells can be tilted relative to the clamping element. A spring element is arranged in the region of the clamping heads, said spring element pushing the second ends of the half-shells apart under pretension. Contact regions of the spring element can be positioned on the pipe ends in a frictionally locking manner when connecting the two ends.
Dissimilar metal connection and method for operating such a dissimilar metal connection
A dissimilar metal connection arrangement comprising a dissimilar metal connection between a first member made of a first metal and having a first end, and a second member made of a second metal different from said first metal with regard to its metallurgical behavior, and having a second end, wherein the first end of the first member is fixedly connected to the second end of the second member. An increased lifetime of the connection is achieved by arranging a heating means at said dissimilar metal connection for controlled heating of said dissimilar metal connection.
Hinged lid assembly for a flanged riser and methods of use thereof
A quick-access hinged lid assembly for flanged riser, having two-part clamp, having an inner face shaped to conform to the surface flanged riser, first clamp ring and second clamp ring are connected by a clamp hinge, a lid having an exterior surface and an interior sealing surface to abut the flanged riser exterior surface, wherein the interior sealing surface includes annular groove, gasket or o-ring positioned therein groove to seal flanged riser exterior surface and interior sealing surface, a lid hinge configured between clamp and lid, lid hinge having a swing bolt slot and pin bolt to provide adjustment of the lid to enable the lid to mate flat with flanged riser, swing bolts positioned on the perimeter and pivotable from the clamp ring with hand operable fasteners to press gasket between interior sealing surface of the lid and flanged riser exterior surface in a closed position.
CONDUIT LOCKING SYSTEM FOR AN APPLIANCE
A conduit locking system includes a first cylindrical conduit having a male and female portion. The female portion includes an engagement protrusion that is radially disposed on an outer surface, and an inner surface that is configured to engage an outer surface of a male portion of a second cylindrical conduit to define a continuous fluid passageway. The conduit locking system comprises an annular band having a tensioner and is configured to engage the male portion of the second cylindrical conduit. The annular band may also comprise a plurality of fingers disposed radially about the annular band. The plurality of fingers may be configured to engage the engagement protrusion of the female portion of the first cylindrical conduit. The conduit locking system is manipulatable between an unclamped position to a clamped position.
Composite fluid conduit assembly
A composite fluid conduit assembly with a fluid conduit having a wall defining a fluid flow path is disclosed. The wall has an inner region and an outer region. The outer region includes a composite material having reinforcing elements within a matrix material and the inner region having a material which is substantially devoid of reinforcing elements. The inner region of the wall defines a first sealing surface around the fluid flow path at one end of the fluid conduit. The composite fluid conduit assembly has an interface member substantially devoid of reinforcing elements and located at the end of the fluid conduit. The interface member defines an aperture in fluid flow communication with the fluid flow path and a second sealing surface. A compression arrangement forces the interface member and the fluid conduit together forming a seal around the fluid flow path between the first and second sealing surfaces.
Fluid-conducting system with cathodic corrosion protection
A fluid conducting system with cathodic corrosion protection is provided for at least one device that influences and/or acts upon a flow rate, such as a pump and/or valve. The device includes at least one connection device such as a device connection flange. At least one flow rate guiding device such as a pipe includes a connection means such as a pipe connection flange. The system includes annular anodes arranged between the connection devices and connection means, where anodes are electrically connected by electrical conducting lines to a monitoring device. The internal diameter of the anodes is preferably equal to the internal diameter of the flow rate guiding device and/or the inner diameter of the inlet and/or outlet of flow influencing device.
Steam turbine and method of assembling and disassembling the same
A steam turbine includes a turbine main body supplied with steam from a steam supply unit and a steam valve for controlling an amount of steam to be supplied from the steam supply unit to the turbine main body. The turbine main body includes a first connection unit; and pluralities of guide rods and threaded rods, each extending from the first connection unit. The steam valve includes a second connection unit configured to be coupled to the first connection unit; and a flange disposed around the second connection unit, to receive the guide rods and threaded rods through corresponding through-holes respectively formed in the flange. The first connection unit includes an inner circumference and an end surface provided around the inner circumference, and the guide rods and threaded rods are arranged symmetrically around the inner circumference of the first connection unit and are fixed to the first connection unit.
