Spade Flange Tool with Fluid Passage

A spade flange tool comprises a spade portion and a handle portion, wherein the spade portion includes a well for collecting fluids and wherein the handle portion includes a drain, in fluid communication with the well, for draining fluids collected in the well. The spade flange tool described herein is particularly useful for safely and effectively draining waste fluid effluent from cleaning operations used in onsite cleaning of equipment in industrial plants, such as vessels, tanks, conduits, etc., having a flanged connection. The spade flange tool may also be used to introduce a pressurizing fluid into equipment having a flanged connection.

Pipe having a flange
11940075 · 2024-03-26 · ·

A pipe having a pipe element for conveying a medium in a flow direction and having a flange element for connecting the pipe element to a connection partner. The pipe element has a pipe body with a media passage opening for conveying the medium in the flow direction. The flange element has a flange body with a media passage opening for conveying the medium in the flow direction. The flange element is arranged at one end of the pipe element in such a way that the media passage openings at least substantially overlap. The pipe has a sensor element which is arranged in the flange body in such a way that at least a portion of the sensor element can be in contact with the medium.

Radio-frequency identification fluid connection

A radio-frequency identification (RFID) fluid connection, including a tube or hose, the tube or hose including a radially outward facing surface, a RFID assembly or label connected the radially outward facing surface, including a RFID tag, and at least one contact electrically connected to the RFID tag.

CONNECTOR AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING COMPOSITE PIPELINES
20240084936 · 2024-03-14 ·

A flange unit for use in connecting composite pipelines and a method of said flange unit installation. The flange unit comprising: a connector flange, an elongate tubular member extending from the connector flange, the elongate tubular member comprising at least two locking apertures, at least two locking studs, and a second tubular part configured to surround the elongate tubular member, wherein the second tubular part is configured to slide axially with respect to the elongate tubular member by a predetermined distance, to force the at least two locking studs into the at least two locking apertures, and radially inwards, to create a clamping force between the flange unit and a pipeline that the flange unit is to be installed upon.

Radio-frequency identification connector

A radio-frequency identification (RFID) connector, including a connector, including at least one component, and a RFID assembly connected to the connector, the RFID assembly including a RFID tag, and at least one contact arranged on the at least one component and electrically connected to the RFID tag, wherein in an unlocked state of the RFID connector, the RFID tag indicates an open state of the RFID assembly, and in a locked state of the RFID connector, the RFID tag indicates a closed state of the RFID assembly.

Hot bolt clamp
11913572 · 2024-02-27 · ·

A hot bolt clamp and method for repairing a multi-bolt flange of a pipe. The clamp has enclosures that can be assembled around the multi-bolt flange. The clamp has a central opening extending through a first enclosure face and a second enclosure face for the pipe. The clamp includes a flange bolt cavities extending through the enclosure faces configured to enclose flange bolts and having a cutter channel connected to each flange bolt cavity. Restraint bolts extend through the enclosure face to restrain the multi-bolt flange. Flange bolts can be removed and replaced during the repair operation. A cutter tool apparatus can be extended through each cutter channel for use in removing stuck flange bolts. The clamp forms an injectable void around the multi-bolt flange that is injectable with sealant in the event of a loss of gasket integrity during the repair operation.

Flange leveling system for supporting and aligning a flange and related method
11906084 · 2024-02-20 ·

A pipe flange is leveled for welding by using stainless steel using ball bearings attached to a U-shaped spring-loaded wire so a fitter is able to level a flange for welding while the wire supports a level. The ball bearings are part of a first leveling unit and a second leveling unit which comprise a flange leveling system. The spring acts to bias a first leg and a second leg of the leveling units such that the distal ends of both legs are biased toward each other. The ball bearings are axially co-linear with each other and are sized to be seated in bolt holes defined in the first and second sides of the pipe flange. A related process is also disclosed wherein the flange is adjusted until the associated flange holes on the first and second sides of the pipe flange are level with each other.

Profile Clamp, Flange Connection, and Turbocharger Comprising Same

A profile clamp includes a profile strip which extends in a circumferential direction about a clamp center and has two clamping heads which are connected to one another via a clamping element. A profile groove running in the circumferential direction is formed on an inside of the profile strip and has a profile strip base arranged at least in portions between groove flanks. The profile clamp has a securing feature on the inside of the profile strip, which protrudes into the profile groove and/or from the profile strip base in the direction of the clamp center. A flange connection and a turbocharger are also presented.

Device for pre-positioning a profile clamp, and connection system

A device for pre-positioning a profile clamp for connecting line end pieces. The device has a bridge element of a profile clamp and a flange element on one of the line end pieces. The bridge element is designed to connect two clamp portions of the profile clamp along a bridge direction. The bridge element has a finger that extends away from the bridge element at least partly transversely to the bridge direction and has a free end portion. The flange element comprises a recess for receiving the free end portion. The recess blocks a movement of the free end portion along a circumferential direction of the flange element.
