HOT BOLT CLAMP
A hot bolt clamp and method for repairing a multi-bolt flange of a pipe. The clamp has enclosures that can be assembled around the multi-bolt flange. The clamp has a central opening extending through a first enclosure face and a second enclosure face for the pipe. The clamp includes a flange bolt cavities extending through the enclosure faces configured to enclose flange bolts and having a cutter channel connected to each flange bolt cavity. Restraint bolts extend through the enclosure face to restrain the multi-bolt flange. Flange bolts can be removed and replaced during the repair operation. A cutter tool apparatus can be extended through each cutter channel for use in removing stuck flange bolts. The clamp forms an injectable void around the multi-bolt flange that is injectable with sealant in the event of a loss of gasket integrity during the repair operation.

The present invention relates to a device 100 for connecting a gas-conducting conduit element 1, in particular a hydrogen-conducting conduit element, to a counterpart 2, in particular a component, comprising: at least one screw body 10, which is configured to be brought into tight engagement, in particular into gas-tight engagement, with the counterpart 2; a first seal 3, which is in the form of a valve body 3a which is configured to be brought into contact, in particular into gas-tight contact, with a valve seat 4 provided on the counterpart 2, or which is in the form of a flat seal; and a second seal 5 which operates on a sealing effect principle according to which the sealing effect is exerted or deployed irrespective of an axial displacement, in particular in an installation direction E, which is necessary for creating the sealing effect of the first seal 3.
Sealing device for flanges
Gaskets for sealing two mating surfaces have an inner ring positioned between two inner sealing deformable layers and an outer ring positioned exterior and concentric to the inner ring, the outer ring positioned between two outer sealing deformable layers. The two inner sealing deformable layers are configured to compress a greater amount than the two outer sealing deformable layers when a compressive force is applied. In a compressed configuration, the two inner sealing deformable layers fill in the crevices of the mating surfaces of a corroded flange connection thereby avoiding immediate maintenance for the damaged flanges. The inner and outer rings have grooves and ridges on upper and lower surfaces to retain and receive portions of the inner and outer sealing deformable layers in a sealed flange connection.
Fluid conduit interlock
A fluid conduit interlock comprises at least one retention member for engaging a fluid conduit, the or each retention member configured to be movable between a retention position for retaining the fluid conduit and a release position for releasing the fluid conduit, a valve member configured to be movable between a valve open position for opening a hollow bore and a valve closed position for closing the hollow bore, and an interlock mechanism configured to operably link the movement of the or each retention member and the movement of the valve member so that the or each retention member in the release position locks the valve member in the valve closed position and so that the valve member in the valve open position locks the or each retention member in the retention position.
Drilling riser connector
The method of providing a clamping connection comprising providing one or more clamping hubs, providing two or more clamping segments to engage the clamping hubs, constraining the clamping segments to move approximately radially with respect to the clamp hubs, providing a tension band around the clamping segments which slides circumferentially relative to the clamping segments, and adjusting the ratio of the contact area of the tension band to the clamping hubs and the area of the clamping hubs to compensate for the difference in loading on the clamping hub due to sliding friction between the tension band and the clamping hubs.
Method of modernizing a fluid transport flexible conduit line, end fittings joint and interconnection module
The invention proposes a method of modernizing a flexible conduit line (50), wherein the modernization method comprises the following steps performed in at least one end fittings joint (11, 12, 13), namely, removing a check valve (16) or a plug (17) from at least one outlet port (15) of an end fitting (111, 121, 131), removing a check valve (16′) or a plug (17′) of at least one outlet port (15′) of an adjacent end fitting (111′, 121′, 131′), installing a tubular line (90) in an external position to provide fluid communication between said at least one outlet port (15) of the end fitting (111, 121, 131) and said at least one outlet port (15′) of the adjacent end fitting (111′, 121′, 131′). The invention further proposes an end fittings joint (12) comprising an end fitting (121) and an adjacent end fitting (121′), the end fittings joint (12) comprising a tubular line (90) positioned externally to the end fittings (121, 121′) in order to establish fluid communication between at least one outlet port (15) of the end fitting and at least one outlet port (15′) of the adjacent end fitting (121′). The invention further proposes an interconnection module (80) connectable to a first end fitting (121) suitable to be installed in a first flexible conduit segment (52) and connectable to a second end fitting (121′) suitable to be installed in a second flexible conduit segment (53). The interconnection module (80) further comprises a tubular line (90) in an external position configured to provide fluid communication between at least one outlet port (15) of the first end fitting (121) and at least one port (15′) of the second end fitting (121′).
