Housing for a compressor or expander installation, vacuum pump, generator or the like
A housing for a compressor or expander installation, vacuum pump, generator or similar, whereby this housing is made of metal plates, wherein at least one of the aforementioned metal plates is provided with one or more reinforcing profiles, respectively longitudinal profiles that extend in a certain longitudinal direction and transverse profiles that extend along a transverse direction that forms an angle to the aforementioned longitudinal direction, whereby the various metal plates and longitudinal profiles and/or transverse profiles are joined together solely by means of mechanical fasteners.

Computer-implemented synthesis of a four-bar linkage
One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for designing a four-bar linkage mechanism. The technique includes receiving an input coupler curve that defines motion within a plane with respect to a point that is to be included on the four-bar linkage mechanism; generating a set of sample points, wherein each point in the set of sample points corresponds to a different location on the input coupler curve; and implementing a global optimization solver to generate a first design for the four-bar linkage mechanism. The first design includes at least one value for each geometric variable included in a set of geometric variables associated with the four-bar linkage, where at least one of the geometric variables is based on one of the sample points. The first design generates an output coupler curve that approximates the input coupler curve.

Integral Installation Aid
An enclosure can have an enclosure body, the enclosure body can include an enclosure frame, and a first enclosure flange. The enclosure can have a center post having a first end and an opposite second end, the first end can include a first center post flange having a hole extending therethrough. The enclosure can include a gasket having a gasket hole therethrough, and a threaded fastener to threadingly engage the hole. The threaded fastener can be configured to rotate in a first direction while threadingly engaged with the hole, and the threaded fastener can contact the first enclosure flange to increase a distance between the first enclosure flange and the first center post flange in order to receive the gasket.

Cabinet assembly
A kit is provided that, when assembled, forms a unit of furniture. The kit includes side panels that can reversibly slide into an opening formed in the sides of the front and side panels. The kit may include multiple locking pins and cleats to restrict movement of the top and side panels. The kit may include positioning wedges and/or locking wedges to restrict relative movement of the panels and thus improve the stability of the unit. Also provided are methods of assembling the unit of furniture.

SHELVING UNIT HAVING REVERSE CANTILEVERED BRACKET ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A shelving unit can include a reverse cantilevered bracket assembly. The bracket assembly can be configured to facilitate a modular design that permits height adjustment of shelves for an article of furniture. In some embodiments, the brackets can be configured to be positioned to avoid obstructing a front opening so that a user can easily access shelfs supported by the brackets. In some embodiments, the brackets can be positioned to minimize their appearance to improve the aesthetic effect of the shelving unit.
