Hose connecting device and massage toy having such a hose connecting device
According to the invention it is provided that a hose connecting device for connecting an elastic flexible hose to a rigid connection includes at least one coupling element having first positively locking means for coupling to the connection portion in positively locking relationship, and an annular support body which peripherally supports the coupling element, wherein the positively locking means extend radially internally on the annular support body and wherein the annular support body is adapted for fixing to the flexible hose.
TREAD WITH CONCEALED CAVITIES COMPRISING A WEAR INDICATOR HAVING IMPROVED VISIBILITY
A tire comprising a tread, this tread comprising at least one channel and at least one wear indicator that is disposed on the bottom of the channel The wear indicator has a contact face which is intended to come into contact with a road surface when the tire reaches a wear limit. The contact face has a texture that contrasts with the bottom of the channel
Lightweight fire hose coupling with protective shoulder and method of manufacturing the coupling
A fire hose coupling includes a substantially annular body having a first end adapted to connect to a fire hose and a second end having male threads. The annular body has a central bore. The coupling includes circumferentially spaced-apart lugs extending radially outwardly from an outer surface of the first end of the body. The coupling further includes a protective shoulder extending radially outwardly from the body between the male threads and the lugs. The protective shoulder has an outer diameter greater than an outer diameter of the male threads to thereby protect the male threads.

Aseptic or sterile connection system
A means and method that forms and maintains an enclosed sterile environment that then is able to sterilize all that is within the enclosure in order to facilitate making a sterile or aseptic connection and keeping it sterile or aseptic. Connection may be between a container of material to a and through a terminus using tubes or hoses interspersed with a connector or connectors. The means and method are substantially comprised of an enclosure to be filled with a sterilant, that by various means attaches to or are parts of connectors, other connectors, a sterilant, a method of propelling the sterilant and other propelling mechanisms as required. The sterilant surrounds the critical parts to make all that is within an enclosure including the connectors and other parts within the enclosure as well as possibly through hoses or tubes to a terminus and through it to the point a material exits the terminus while making a connection sterile or aseptic. It is also the means of repeating the process of connecting a source to a terminus sterile or aseptic. Other aspects may also include maintaining sterility of other points of connection.
Sectioned hose
A system comprising a wrapping device that forms a ring of tensioned material by wrapping a material around an outer circumference of a tube encasement, and a cutting device that cuts through an entire cross-section of the ring of tensioned material, the tube encasement and a tube encased by the tube encasement, wherein the ring of tensioned material applies a first radial force onto the tube encasement and induces a second radial force from the tube encasement onto the tube.
MODULE FOR TRANSPORTING A FLUID AND METHOD OF CONNECTING A WOVEN STRUCTURE AND AN END CONNECTOR
Disclosed is a module for transporting a fluid, including a woven structure forming a tubular pipe and at least one end connector placed at one end of the woven structure, the end connector including a main body delimiting an internal channel for the passage of the fluid. According to the invention, the internal wall of the body delimiting the channel, or the external wall of the body delimiting the external lateral surface of that body, being annular and having at least one shoulder defining an internal, respectively external, bearing face for the reception of at least one ring, the free end of the woven structure is anchored in the connector only by friction of the faces of the free end with the surfaces of the ring or rings and the internal, respectively external, wall of the main body.
Pipe connection fitting
A connection fitting (10) for a pipe, including a tubular body (12), an O-ring (14) mountable on outer side of tubular body (12), a substantially tubular collet (16) having a first end and a second end and having a memory, a substantially annular and resilient grab ring (20) for gripping the outer side of a pipe inserted into the collet (16), a substantially tubular spacer ring (22) locatable on the free side of the grab ring (20), a collet retainer (18), and a tubular protection ring (24) locatable within the spacer ring (22), wherein when the collet retainer (18) engages with the collet (16) and causes the collet (16) to lock onto the tubular body (12) apertures (66) in the collet retainer (18) permit portions of the protection ring (24) to be seen after connection of a pipe to the connection fitting (10) is completed.
Connecting system and method for connecting fluid-conducting components
A connecting system connects two fluid-conducting components, such as first and second tubes, or a tube and a connecting part, or first and second pipes. The connecting system includes: a flange of a first component set back from a free end region of the first component; a flange of a second component formed at or behind a free end region of the second component; a securing device that engages a sleeve arranged at the second component so as to axially secure and align the first and second components with respect to one another; and a jacket that at least regionally covers the first component, the second component, and the securing device.
HIGH TEMPERATURE HOSE FITTINGS
A hose fitting and a method of manufacturing includes a main fitting body and an outer sleeve that surrounds the main fitting body. An axially extending nipple is formed on the main fitting body and a crimped region is defined by the main fitting body and the outer sleeve being crimped toward each other. A tube member is radially interposed between the main fitting body and the outer sleeve, and a low temperature sealing region is defined by the tube member being compressed over a grooved portion of the nipple. An elastomeric seal member is radially interposed between the main fitting body and the tube member, and a high temperature sealing region is defined by the tube member being compressed over the seal member. The crimped region, the low temperature sealing region, and the high temperature sealing region are sequentially arranged in an axial direction.
