SWIVEL COUPLING AND HOSE ASSEMBLIES AND KITS UTILIZING THE SAME
A swivel coupling assembly includes a first annular member having at least one annular barb, a shoulder and at least one annular groove containing a seal. There is a first bearing surface and a second bearing surface either side of the annular groove. The first and second bearing surfaces have a width equal to or greater than a width of the annular groove. There is a second annular member having an inner surface defining a bore configured to receive the first annular member. When joined, the shoulder of the first annular member frictionally engages the bore of the second annular, thereby allowing rotation. The seal engages with and seals the bore at a location between the ends of the second member. and spaced by a distance of at least the width of the first and second bearing surfaces from the shoulder and the second opening, respectively.
Clamp with a mounting element content
A clamp with a clamp band and a mounting element which is connected to the clamp band. In a clamp band of the above-described type, this object is met by connecting the mounting element to the clamp band with a clinch connection. The clinch connection may have a polygonal cross-section. The clamp band and the mounting element may be formed of different materials at least in areas where they contact each other.
Apparatus and method for providing gases to a user
A connector and tubing combination includes a tubing segment with an end piece, such as a tubing flange. The tubing flange can be secured within the connector by an outer sleeve and an inner sleeve of the connector. Both of the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve are located outside of the tubing flange and the tubing segment. In addition, the inner sleeve, outer sleeve and the tubing flange are mechanically connected.
MOWER HAVING COLLECTION SYSTEM WITH QUICK CONNECT VACUUM HOSE ADAPTER
A quick connect hose adapter connects a flexible transfer hose from a mower deck to an inlet tube on a container for storing debris. The adapter includes a first cylindrical portion fixed in the discharge end of the flexible hose, and a second portion with a clamp assembly that clamps to the inlet tube. The clamp assembly has first and second semi-cylindrical segments connected together on one side by a continuous hinge, and at least one latch for latching the other side of the semi-cylindrical segments together to cause the clamp assembly to be clamped to the inlet tube. When the latch is released, the second semi-cylindrical segment can be moved from a closed position to an open position. In the open position, the adapter is easily removable from the inlet tube. A seal ring provides a smooth inner surface and seal between the adapter and the inlet tube.
Reverse snap push/pull quick connect coupling
A quick connect coupling assembly for interconnecting a tubular component to a mounting component is provided. The coupling assembly includes a retainer adapted to be coupled to the mounting component and having a pair of resiliently cantilevered snap arms. A housing for coupling with the mounting component has an inner cam surface and is configured to abut the mounting component. The snap arms each include a first deflector ramp that is aligned in proximity to the inner cam surface and a second deflector ramp adapted to releaseably engage a back surface of the mounting component. A push/pull feature permits the retainer to be pushed and causes the first deflector ramps to engage the inner cam surface and cause the snap arms to deflect inwardly and release the second deflector ramp from engagement with the back surface and allow the coupling assembly to be pulled out of the mounting component.
WATER PIPE CONVERTER
A water pipe converter advantageously converts a standard, single person water pipe (or similar device) into a device that can be utilized by multiple users. The converter has a truncated cone shaped plug, which fits into the orifice of the water pipe. A plurality of hoses are fitted into the apertures or holes of the plug, thereby allowing all users to be connected to the water pipe at the same time.

END-PIECE OF A FLEXIBLE PIPE FOR TRANSPORTING FLUID, ASSOCIATED FLEXIBLE PIPE AND METHOD
An end-fitting of a flexible pipe for transporting fluid, that includes at least one sealing assembly with at least one crimping ring comprising at least one bulge inserted radially into a polymer sheath of the flexible pipe, the end-fitting including an annular seal, disposed in contact with the polymer sheath at a distance from the crimping ring, the annular seal having an annular central region that is deformable radially towards the polymer sheath, and two stiffened annular peripheral regions that are situated on either side of the central region along a central axis of the flexible pipe, the peripheral annular regions being movable towards one other to activate radial deformation of the central region towards the polymer sheath from a rest configuration to an active sealing configuration around the polymer sheath.
Connecting device between a turbine housing of an exhaust turbocharger and a connection housing
A connecting device is provided between a turbine housing of an exhaust turbocharger and an exhaust manifold housing of an internal combustion engine. The turbine housing and the exhaust manifold housing are kept in position via a band clamp which acts with first and second limbs, which are oriented in a V shaped manner in cross section and are connected via a web, on supporting devices, which are attached to outer circumferences of the turbine housing and of the exhaust manifold housing, and are configured in the manner of first and second ring flanges placed on each other, such that, firstly, first and second clamping surfaces of the limbs are operatively connected to third and fourth clamping surfaces of the supporting devices on first and second connecting planes, and, secondly, first and second radial supporting surfaces are operatively connected to each other on a supporting plane of the supporting devices. An intermediate ring is effective between the second clamping surface of the second limb and an inner supporting surface of the second edge flange. The intermediate ring is clamped against the inner supporting surface of the second ring flange via the second and fourth clamping surfaces and a clamping surface portion of the intermediate ring.
