End fitting for a tube housed by a cavity and a method of installing a tube in a cavity
An end fitting for a tube housed by a cavity and a method of installing a tube in a cavity are described which use a compression ring that defines a void having an axial extent and a radial extent. The compression ring is compressed between a bracket of the end fitting and a port of the cavity by drawing the bracket axially towards the port. This seals the port and deforms the void defined by the compression ring. The deformation of the void reduces its axial extent and increases its radial extent, thereby compressing the tube against an insert received within the interior of the tube.
Assembly for connecting a line
An assembly for connecting a line includes a connector for detachable connection of a line, a line that can be connected to the connector, and an intermediate element for connection to the connector and the line. The intermediate element is secured on the line in such a manner that it separates the line and the connector from one another.

REINFORCED HOSE END CONNECTOR HAVING A SMOOTH SURFACE INBOARD END LENGTH
An improved end connector for a high-pressure reinforced hose that is subjected to high frequency of pressure cycles and that provides for a low compression deformation of the reinforced hose is discussed. This unique end connector has a stem and ferrule that includes a gripper or cable lock region near a coupler, or outboard end and a substantially smooth length on an outer diameter (OD) of the stem and ferrule that extends from about the gripper region to a hose receiving, or inboard, end.
INSULATED HOSE ARRANGEMENTS
A hose assembly includes a hose defining an internal fluid passage and an exterior surface, an end connection attached to a first end of the hose, an insulation material wrapped onto the exterior surface of the hose, a cover installed over the insulation material, and an elastomeric sleeve extending over and in compressive engagement with at least a portion of the end connection and the cover. The insulation material, the cover, and the elastomeric sleeve are each rated for continuous use at a temperature of at least about 135 C.

FUEL SYSTEM INCLUDING REINFORCED FUEL CONNECTOR WITH RETAINING RINGS
A fuel connector of a fuel system is adapted to flow fuel, and includes male and female components. The male component includes a plurality of barbs each projecting radially outward, spaced axially from one-another and being circumferentially continuous. The female component includes a plurality of reinforcement rings being in a predefined axial relationship to the respective plurality of barbs when connected.
ADJUSTABLE MULTI-PORT CONNECTOR AND VALVE
A multi-fitting rotatable fluid connection apparatus comprising a fluid entry fitting and first and second fluid discharge fittings. The fluid entry fitting comprises a first end connector threaded for attachment to a fluid source, and first and second distribution connectors. The first fluid discharge fitting has a first intake connector which receives fluid from the first distribution connector. A first rotation member is coupled between the first intake connector and the first distribution connector such that the first fluid discharge fitting is rotatable about a first axis of rotation. The second fluid discharge fitting has a second intake connector which receives fluid from the second distribution connector. A second rotation member is coupled between the second intake connector and the second distribution connector such that the second fluid discharge fitting is rotatable about a second axis of rotation.
Garden hose with metal sheath
A garden hose with an outer flexible sheath of spirally wound and linked turns of sheet material, an inner tube of flexible polymer inside the sheath and end couplers with nipples press fit into ends of the tube and connector mechanisms connecting the couplers to the outer sheath. Each connector mechanism has inner and outer press fit shells at the end of the sheath, with flared ends separated by a washer.
Drain assembly for a housing of a filter assembly
An adapter is provided for fluidly coupling a hose to a housing of a filter assembly having a drain body connected to the housing. The adapter has a retaining cap that is disposed about a central axis and is configured to couple with the drain body. A hose barb body is disposed rotatably about the central axis. The hose barb body has a tapered portion that is configured to receive at least a portion of the drain body therein, and a cylindrical portion that extends from the tapered portion. The cylindrical portion is configured to allow selective coupling of a hose thereon. A retaining collar is disposed about the central axis and has a shoulder that is configured to bear the hose barb body thereon. Multiple resilient tabs upstanding from the shoulder have ends laterally extending away from the central axis for engaging with the retaining cap.
