THREADED TUBULAR END PROTECTOR
A thread protector that has an external sleeve to protect pin threads disposed on a pin end of a tubular member. The thread protector also has flange disposed on a first end of the external sleeve to engage with the pin end of the tubular member. The thread protector further includes a securing apparatus extending from the flange to frictionally engage an inside portion of the tubular member to maintain position of the thread protector on the tubular member. A method of protecting the pin threads of the pin ends of the tubular members. The method includes screwing the thread protector on the pin threads of the pin end of the tubular member.

LOCK FOR TRAILER EMERGENCY AIR BRAKE SUPPLY LINE COUPLER
The trailer emergency air brake supply line coupler is movable between a control position, where air pressure in the supply line causes the trailer emergency air brakes to release so the trailer can be moved, and a park position where the trailer emergency air brake system is vented to automatically engage the trailer emergency air brakes. The lock includes a metal frame attached to the trailer proximate the trailer coupler. First and second spaced side walls extend from the rear wall of the frame on opposite sides of the trailer coupler. A retractable pin extends between the side walls and intersects the path of movement of the supply line coupler preventing movement of the supply line coupler between its control position and its park position. A lock cylinder, padlock or other mechanism retains the pin on the frame.

Tamper Resistant Coupling Collar
A tamper-resistant coupling collar is provided. The tamper-resistant coupling collar may be configured to couple an air pulse generating unit to the coupler of a container that contains a liquid to be mixed by introducing an air pulse from the air pulse generating unit. The collar may include a flange portion and body portion, and the flange portion may include a plurality of holes configured to receive fasteners to couple the collar to the air pulse generating unit.
PIPE CAP WITH TRANSITION FITTING
A pipe cap assembly for a normally-sealed system includes a pipe cap having a base portion including two opposing, substantially parallel flat surfaces. The pipe cap includes a connector portion extending from the base portion. A fluid passage extends through both the base portion and connector portion. A transition cap may be releasably coupled to the connector portion for sealing the fluid passage during normal operation. A transition fitting provides periodic access to the sealed system and includes an access port at one end, and a tubular port and fastener at the other end. The tubular port and fastener releasably couple to the connector portion of the pipe cap to provide access. A drain hose, vent hose, or the like, may be easily coupled to the access port of the transition fitting. A test instrument may be coupled either to the access port or directly to the connector portion.
Hose Shroud
A hose shroud comprises a tube formed from an aramid fabric rolled into a plurality of tubular layers. The hose shroud has a first end fitting at a first end of the tube, and a second end fitting at a second end of the tube.
Fabricating formed hose with different fiber-reinforced regions
Fabrication of formed hoses is provided which include an innermost elastomer layer, a first fiber-reinforcement region, and multiple second fiber-reinforcement regions. The first fiber-reinforcement region has a first fiber-reinforcement density, and is disposed, at least in part, at a bend region of the formed hose, and the multiple second fiber-reinforcement regions have a second fiber-reinforcement density, and are disposed at least at the first and second end regions of the formed hose. The second fiber-reinforcement density is greater than the first fiber-reinforcement density, and results in the first and second ends of the formed hose being less radially-deformable than the bend region of the hose. This facilitates providing a mechanical fluid-tight connection with a hose barb fitting when the formed hose is slid over the hose barb fitting, absent any clamp over the formed hose and hose barb fitting connection.
