Filling hose
A liquid dispenser filling hose for use in filling a liquid dispenser with liquid from a liquid reservoir via a pump, comprising: a distal coupler for coupling the filling hose to the liquid dispenser; and a controller arranged to control the pump. The liquid dispenser may be filled using a method comprising: providing a liquid reservoir, a pump and a controller arranged to control the pump, and a filling hose having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the filling hose being coupled to the liquid reservoir; coupling the distal end of the filling hose via a distal coupler to the liquid dispenser; and transferring liquid from the liquid reservoir via the filling hose to an airless liquid container forming part of the liquid dispenser. A system for filling a liquid dispenser, comprising: the liquid filling hose; and a liquid reservoir and/or liquid supply station is also described.
SUBSEA WELLHEAD ASSEMBLY
A subsea wellhead assembly and a method of installing a subsea well head assembly. The subsea wellhead assembly includes: a conductor; a subsea wellhead; and subsea riser system equipment mounted on the subsea wellhead. The subsea riser system equipment is connected to the conductor such that forces can be transmitted from the subsea riser equipment to the conductor in both tension and compression.
CONNECTOR ASSEMBLIES AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Connector assemblies including a first subassembly having a recessed portion and a pair of locator tracks and a second subassembly having a pair of locator projections, vacuum assemblies including these connector assemblies, and methods of using the same are provided herein.
Testing or filling adapter equipped with a safety device
A testing or filling adapter (1) for a container to be filled with fluid, composed of a body (10), an attachment module (3), and a coupling system (30) having a coupled position, in which a sealed connection is established between the body and the attachment module, and an uncoupled position. The body includes a feed module (2) that comprises a plurality of conduits that include at least one fluid conduit (221) and is equipped with a safety valve (5) that can be moved between an open configuration and a closed configuration and is connected to an element mirror (51) having a first configuration in which the safety valve is in the open configuration and a second configuration in which the safety valve is in the closed configuration. The filling adapter further comprises a safety device (6) that cooperates with the coupling system, with it being possible to move said safety device between a locked position, in which the safety device locks the coupling system in the coupled position, and an unlocked position, in which the safety device enables the coupling system to be moved into the uncoupled position. The safety device cooperates with the mirror element so as to enable the mirror element to be in its first configuration when the safety device is in the locked position, and to force the mirror element to be in its second configuration when the safety device is moved from its locked position to its unlocked position.
Magnetically positioned and engaged dryer vent attachment and method
A magnetically positioned and engaged clothes dryer vent coupling (14, 30), having magnetic material (12, 36) arranged around the opening of a tube (22, 32) such that as the two halves of the coupling are brought into proximity, the magnetic forces minimizing repulsion and maximizing attraction align the two duct paths and bring the magnets together, forming a seal. The short length of flexible tubing (20) allows freedom of motion of the magnetic end during engagement and provides the necessary flexibility required to maintain a seal through dryer operational movement. The advantages of such a coupling are: simplified and faster dryer installation; elimination of the long length of flexible duct typically used in dry installations; shorter, more easily maintainable dryer exhaust duct path; increased dryer efficiency and increased fire safety.
MAGNETIC HOSE COUPLING FOR HELMET FORCED AIR HOSE
A magnetic hose coupling system for a helmet includes first and second coupling conduit segments magnetically coupled to each other. The first segment includes a hinged clamp at a first end to attach to a forced air intake barb on a motorsport helmet and an angled polygonal mating surface at a second end with magnetic attractors in the polygonal mating surface. The second segment includes an internally threaded first end to attach to a forced air hose and an angled polygonal mating surface at a second end with magnetic attractors in the polygonal mating surface. The polygonal mating surfaces of the first and second segments magnetically couple together and resist rotational and sheer movement of the first and second segments with respect to each other.
Pipe mount
A pipe mount for connecting pipe sections is disclosed. The pipe mount comprises a sliding member movably attached to a plumbing arrangement element. The sliding member extends in the vertical direction of the plumbing arrangement element, and it is vertically movable between an extreme position and a second position. The pipe mount further comprises at least one pipe bracket for securing the pipe sections onto the sliding member. A system and a method for connecting pipe sections are also disclosed.
VACUUM JOINT AND VACUUM UTILIZATION DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A vacuum joint has a simple structure and thus is capable of connecting and disconnecting vacuum pipes very easily and quickly. A vacuum utilization device includes this vacuum joint. A vacuum joint of the present invention includes: a first coupling member having a tubular shape and adapted to be attached to a connection end of a vacuum pipe; and a second coupling member having a tubular shape and adapted to be attached to a connection end of a vacuum pipe. The first coupling member has an axial front end with a substantially flat contact surface that contains a ferromagnetic material, and the second coupling member has an axial front end with a substantially flat contact surface that contains a ferromagnetic material. At least one of the contact surface of the first coupling member and the contact surface of the second coupling member includes a magnet.
Magnetic Fluid Connector
A fluid connector is provided. The fluid connector can include a first connector having a first passageway and a second passageway; and a second connector having a third passageway and a fourth passageway. The first connector can be attracted to the second connector through a magnetic force, thereby forming the fluid connector. Moreover, when the first connector abuts the second connector, the first passageway together with the third passageway can form a first fluid path, and the second passageway together with the fourth passageway can form a second fluid path that is different from the first fluid path.
