A generation section is coupleable to the input section and includes a pipe section to carry the at least a portion of the input flow, a turbine coupleable to the pipe section and configured to capture energy from the at least a portion of input flow carried by the pipe section, and a generator coupleable to the turbine and configured to generate power from the energy captured by the turbine. An output section may be open ended and configured to provide a discharge for the generation section away from the pipe.
Plumbing with internal flow guides
A conduit assembly may comprise: a pipe; a plurality of hollow passages disposed through the pipe; and a plurality of flow guides disposed in the pipe, each flow guide in the plurality of flow guides at least partially defining a respective hollow passage in the plurality of hollow passages. The conduit assembly may act as a heat exchanger.
Snap fitting for plumbing
A snap fitting for use in plumbing is provided. The snap fitting includes a main body formed of plastic and shaped to extend partially around a cylindrical pipe to snap over the pipe and an inset for extending from an interior side of the main body into a hole in the cylindrical pipe.
Apparatus for removing thermal stratification generated by turbulent penetration by using rotation ring
Provided is an apparatus for removing thermal stratification generated by turbulent penetration by using a rotation ring. The apparatus removes thermal stratification formed in a branch pipe branching from a main pipe through which a high-temperature fluid flows, the apparatus including: a hollow body portion coupled to the branch pipe; a plurality of first electromagnets provided to be spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction of the body portion; a controller configured to sequentially change polarities of the plurality of first electromagnets; and a rotation ring including a plurality of second electromagnets having either an N polarity or an S polarity, the rotation ring being rotatably coupled to the body portion, wherein, when the polarities of the plurality of first electromagnets are sequentially changed, the rotation ring rotates according to a magnetic force of the plurality of first electromagnets and the plurality of second electromagnets.
SYSTEM FOR THE FLUID-GUIDING CONNECTION OF AN ELEMENT TO A COUNTERPART, ADAPTER ELEMENT AND ADAPTER HOUSING FOR FLUID-GUIDING CONNECTION AND ADAPTER SYSTEM HAVING THE ADAPTER ELEMENT AND THE ADAPTER HOUSING
The present invention relates to a system (100) for the flow-guiding or fluid-guiding connection of an element (200) to a counterpart 300, comprising: a first seal (110), consisting of a valve body (101) and a first seal element (102) which is arranged in a fluid channel (301), the valve body (101) being configured, by interaction with the seal element (102), to be able to be displaced or moved between an open position, in which a fluid, more particularly gas, can flow through the fluid channel (301), and a closed position, in which no fluid, more particularly gas, can flow through the fluid channel (301), and a second seal (120), which is arranged downstream of the first seal (110) in the fluid channel (301) in a flow-out direction A of the fluid flowing through/out of the fluid channel (301) and is configured to seal a connection region 302 between the fluid channel (301) and the element (200), more particularly to seal same in a gas-tight manner, the second seal (120) being designed such that, when the element (200) is connected to the counterpart (300), the second seal seals the connection region 302 before the first seal (110) can be or is mechanically displaced or moved into the open position.
SENSOR ARRANGEMENT
A sensor arrangement (1) is described comprising a sensor housing (2) and a mounting connector (3). Such a sensor arrangement should be soldered to a refrigeration system without being sensitive for vibrations during operation of the system and without deteriorating a sensor arranged in the housing. To this end the mounting connector (3) is at least partly made of a bi-metal material with an inner layer (10) of steel and an outer layer (11) of copper.
Conical Seal Fitting and Assemblies Therewith
A conical seal fitting (CSF) has a longitudinal bore between proximal and distal ends, an exterior conical sealing surface near the distal end and an exterior shoulder between the proximal end and the exterior conical sealing surface. A flange has a through-hole defined by an interior conical sealing surface and interior threads. A gland nut surrounds the CSF and has exterior threads that engage the interior threads. The gland nut presses against the exterior shoulder to push the two conical sealing surfaces together to form a seal. The CSF has an O-ring received in a groove and a trapped annular space is defined between the O-ring and the seal. The flange has a test port extending from outside of a vessel into the annular space. The annular space can be pressurized through the test port to test the seal. A tube passes through the bore and is sealed with the CSF using a ferrule and a nut.
Method and apparatus for cooling a dispensing station
A cooling system for a dispensing station includes a modular manifold that incorporates into the dispensing station. The modular manifold includes a recirculation block, an interface block, one or more expander blocks, and one or more spacer blocks that interconnect to produce the modular manifold. The modular manifold includes a recirculation line that couples at an inlet with a cooling fluid system to receive a cooling fluid therein and at an outlet with the cooling fluid system to deliver the cooling fluid from the modular manifold to the cooling fluid system. The modular manifold couples with a drink source and with a drink outlet of the dispensing station such that a drink flowing through the modular manifold from the drink source transfers heat to the cooling fluid circulating through the recirculation line resulting in a chilling of the drink prior to a dispensing thereof from the drink outlet.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUS FOR USE IN MAIN PIPES CONNECTED TO BRANCH CONDUIT
A pipe rehabilitation system and/or robot can be used inside a pipe to measure characteristics of branch conduits, install plugs into branch conduits before the pipe is lined with a liner, remove portions of plugs and liners after lining to restore fluid communication between the pipe and branch conduits, and/or install fittings into the branch conduits to connect the liner to the branch conduits. A probe can measure characteristics of a branch conduit. A tool can install plugs and/or fittings into the branch conduits. A linkage can connect a tool to a robotic tractor so that the connected elements can navigate through a main pipe. A visualization system can aid in aligning a robot with a branch conduit. Height-adjustable braces can support robotic tools in a pipe. A plug can include integrated locating features and/or movable parts that enable expanding the plug to seal with the branch conduit.
