TUBE FOR A TRANSDUCER, TRANSDUCER COMPRISING SUCH A TUBE, AND MEASURING SYSTEM FORMED THEREWITH
The tube is used to conduct a fluid flowing through the tube in a specified flow direction and for this purpose comprises a tube wall (110), which encloses a lumen (100*) of the tube, and an interference body (120), which is arranged within the tube but is nevertheless connected to the tube wall at an inner face of the tube wall facing the lumen. In the tube according to the invention, the tube wall has a maximum wall thickness (s.sub.max) of more than 1 mm and at least two mutually spaced sub-segments (100-1, 100-2) with a respective wall thickness (s.sub.110-1, s.sub.110-2) that deviates from said maximum wall thickness (smax), wherein the sub-segment (100-1) is positioned upstream of the interference body (120) in the flow direction, and the sub-segment (100-2) is positioned downstream of the sub-segment (100-1) in the flow direction.
Sanitizing pouch for electronics
The present invention is an elastic (mechanically stretchable), sanitizing pouch configured to receive and hold an Electronic Device of a predetermined configuration. The elasticity of the fabric used maximizes surface contact with the Electronic Device and the closeness of the fabric of the invention with the outside surfaces of the Electronic Device. A liftable and removable cover flap on the front of the invention is used to hold and access the inside of the invention. The back of the invention includes at least one pocket. The invention further includes a pull tab to help lift an Electronic Device out of the invention. While inside the invention, the silver ions are released in the fabric and inhibit the colonization of bacteria, viruses and fungus on the Electronic Device.
Attachment mechanisms for stabilization of subsea vehicles
Systems and methods for securing a remotely operated vehicle (ROV) to a subsea structure during cleaning, maintenance, or inspection of the structure surface are provided. In one or more embodiments, an attachment mechanism includes a pair of grasping hooks that are raised and lowered when driven by a motorized drive. In one or more embodiments, an attachment mechanism includes a rigid holder having a mechanical stop and connected to a swing arm, the swing arm configured to rotate inward, but not outward beyond the mechanical stop. In one or more embodiments, an attachment mechanism includes a plurality of linked segments in series, each connected at a plurality of pivot points. A pair of wires passes through the plurality of linked segments and connects to a pair of pulleys that extend or retract the wires, thereby rotating the plurality of linked segments.
AIRCRAFT MOTIVE FLOW LINE
An aircraft motive flow line includes an outer tube made out of a first material and an inner tube extending longitudinally inside the outer tube. The inner tube is made out of a second material having a thermal conductivity coefficient lower than that of the first material. The first material has a strength coefficient greater than that of the second material. The inner tube is sized and held in position relative to the outer tube so as to define a gap between an exterior of the inner tube and an interior of the outer tube. A port fluidly connects an interior of the inner tube to the gap.
Infusion line management system
An infusion line management system is provided, including a label generating device receiving prescription information for one or more patient prescriptions, the received information being used to generate, for each of the one or more prescriptions, a label including a master label and one or more sub-labels related to the corresponding prescription; each master label includes at least information related to the prescription and an indicator identifying a particular portion of a patient infusion system to which the prescription should be connected; and the one or more sub-labels each include the indicator, the one or more sub-labels being individually removable from the master label and affixable to locations throughout the patient infusion system.

Coded cartridge holder and fastener enabled by cartridge size
A coded cartridge holder for use with a drug delivery device is provided. The cartridge holder includes a fastener that becomes operative based in part on a length of a cartridge or a diameter of the cartridge. In one embodiment, the cartridge holder is coupled to the drug delivery device. The cartridge holder comprises a first blocking feature. The drug delivery device includes a cartridge detector comprising a second blocking feature. This feature may be a pin, for engagement with the first blocking feature of the cartridge holder when the cartridge acts on the cartridge detector. The cartridge holder may further include a fastening mechanism configured to fasten the cartridge holder to the drug delivery device only when the second blocking feature engages the first blocking feature.
